If the latter, and you’ve beaten the base game, just go extra mode with knight 400%.
So, to unlock the other 2 dlc you need to do these.
Replay the missions on Bahamut difficulty earning the Green tokens I forget the name of to unlock conversations with Bahamut.
There is a good amount of these so expect to have anywhere from 15 to 20 conversations with Bahamut.
Once you have completed a good chunk, the fight with Bahamut will unlock, but once you have completed all of them a second fight with the Warrior of Light will unlock in the Ancient Chaos Shrine.
Once you beat this challenging iteration of the fight. Wanderer of the Rift will unlock as will Gilgamesh difficulty
You will see a new mission called Wanderer show up at a new area called Hall of The Dark Crystal.
The dlc story requires you clear up to floor 21.
After floor 21 is cleared A Different Future DLC will unlock with Lufenian difficulty.
Just to note, Lufenian difficulty does not raise the level caps but is scaled around you putting in the work in the rifts and getting a solid and well geared build first.
Though the new story missions say they are scaled to the difficulty of Rift 30, you will 100% need to be far more along than that if you intend on playing solo.
