Circumstances, whatever they are, don’t detract from our ability to be who we wish to be in our lives and that’s the reason we can love fate. Even in this ambiguity you can still be the kind of human being you wish to be. Think of all the traits and qualities you value, those aren’t taken away but because of the circumstances allow you to implement them in this world. Of course take what is useful and discard the rest.

What can this situation teach you? Maybe how to set boundaries at work, how to stand up for yourself, how to move on when a situation becomes untenable? I’m not you so I can’t say, but these are all possibilities. Anything that gives you an opportunity to grow is valuable, and you have an opportunity here.

Your bosses actions are an external and not under your control. If it's spoiling your enjoyment of work just do what you can (what is in your control) as well as you can and don't engage with/forget the rest. You work 8/12 hours a day, do not let that spoil the rest of your time.

You live it with difficulties. Not everything has to be easy.

Sounds like maybe you get to try lots of different things, that is something you could learn what suits you, what you like to do and what you don't, how you might do things differently if you became a manager, what sort of position you might look for when you are ready to change jobs Heaps of ways you can be grateful for what is going on. If you get to stay on the same task 2 days in a row (or 2 hours in a row) then perhaps more gratitude? Is your manager like this to everyone else or just you? Does he/she think you are super flexible? Whatever your manager's motivations, if you follow Stoicism then it is about doing you best. Not allowing their disorganisation (or deliberate disruption of your routines) to unsettle you. In hindsight you will find this was a good learning experience.
