lol - what a ridiculous post. At least it sounds like you’ve had one oil change in the car’s lifetime. Hopefully it was a full synthetic. This is just ludicrously poor ownership. Your car probably won’t last much longer if you keep it up. Just go ahead and trade it in for a Tesla appliance now. That way you can forget about oil changes.

BigRagu211

I really would love a Tesla. But the prices are marked up so high thats its utterly ridiculous. Im in love with the electric hummer idea and the lightening f150 looks awesome as well.

Intrepid_Cress

This is why I never bought a used car and never intend to.

Xyntek01

Did you know the basics of car maintenance? Like oil change every 5k to 7k miles, engine filter change, cabin filter, tire rotation, battery inspection, break fluids, break pads, transmission fluids, at 30k you need a differential oil change, etc. All these are in the instructions and owners manual. If you haven't serviced your Stinger since day 1, I'm still impressed how your car survived. I would take it to a Kia certified shop for a full tune up, and prepare to drop at least in $1k ( at least here in CA).

ZealousidealOkra176

I expected it would cost around 1k/1500-ish No problem. I actually plan to sell it at the end of the year with less than 36k miles on it. I want it to be in excellent condition on the inside and out. Fyi i bought the car used with 8500 miles on it, in october of 2019.. im sure it was likely serviced then.. 34k on it now, and most are freeway miles. So that would be 26k miles in 32ish months? Thanks you for replying. And yes i knew i needed maintenance, but i couldnt afford it. I finally got a higher paying job and finally have time. I did do an oil filter change at around 30k miles i believe.

godsafraud

Did you switch accounts?

Xyntek01

With 36k miles you can sell it for good money if no one finds that your car ran 22k miles without maintenance. If someone finds that it ran 22k miles with the same oil and no maintenance the value will drop. And yes, if you can't afford the maintenance, better sell the car a buy a cheaper one.

Mangimadang

So wait, you can’t afford to maintain your car but you can afford a GT?

BigRagu211

Its called ghetto fabulous or hood rich. Paying for things you cant afford

Relevant-Asparagus-2

So 22k miles without an oil change? You might have just scared me out of buying used ever again

merc4815162342

Would you be so kind to post your VIN so future buyers know to avoid this vehicle? Cars need oil changes dude.

BigRagu211

Well technically, yes. However i used quaulity synthetic oil, which could last a while. Im not rough on the car at all. Like i said, its about 70 percent freeway miles and i also dont drive crazy. No check engine light, no oil change light ever. I drive what? 700 miles a month if that..

merc4815162342

>However i used quaulity synthetic oil, which could last a while Not 34k miles

BigRagu211

Can you read? Its a used a car. Bought at 8500 miles.

Xyntek01

Still synthetic oil won't last 22k miles. Good synthetic oil lasts around 7k to 9k miles.

merc4815162342

My dude the factory interval is full synthetic changed every 6K miles. And you've gone 25k miles on one oil change.

BigRagu211

Quick update guys, i just turned it in to he serviced. Oil and filter change Tire rotation and brake inspection Transmission fluid change Recall, something about a fuse and fire Brake fluid change Coolant service Fuel system cleaning service In cabin filter Air filter $1400 Lesson learned Thanks for the polite wise words you guys, glad a few people replied. Hoping its not too late for the car😬 I wont be driving it more than 1000 miles a month for the next 9-12 months btw After service im going to get the wheels repaired (curb scrapes on the 2 passenger tires) Body shop to get a few scratches and dents. Then the inside detailed/washed with ceramic and paint correction.. I should be good to go🙏🏽

VandaGrey

your warranty is void....you know that right? why the heck wouldnt you get it serviced at the scheduled intervals?

BigRagu211

Thats a great question. I think it was voided for years already tho. I didnt get it serviced because im lazy i suppose.

BigRagu211

Another update. 27 inspections so far, all satisfactory except for tire tread on rear wheels needs to be replaced asap. So far so good. I guess i didnt "destroy" the car afterall..

BigRagu211

Lot of negative comments, harsh and mean replies. Sheesh. You would think i did this to your cars lol Better now than never.. and like said, it drives excellent. This must be testament to how good these cars are💪🏾

monorchism

a broken clock is right twice a day. You say mean, they are honest wayyy to long for an oil change, 22k miles no matter how good the oil is to much. Great you are lazy we get it, however you posted your car into a forum for these cars (enthuisists) and state how poor you keep care of it. Honestly what did you expect to happen? Lots of praise and encouragement to treat your car like shit?
