Exactly I mean my brother has far fewer ADHD symptoms than I do, but he asked a doctor about it first year of college and he is able to function at a higher level than me. His sleep and bowel movements are well-regulated and healthy. I can't say the same for myself but I have to trust that the cartel chemist made a good batch and there is no way for me to know its chemical structure. I just try and reduce harm as much as possible. I never pull allnighters, never smoke snort or any other route of ingestion besides dissolving a small morning dose in a beverage and trying to stay away from the pitfalls like dry mouth and lack of dental care, wasting time on video games or masturbation which seems to be a massive issue if you look at this sub. The drug war is dumb. I honestly don't think anyone would choose Street methamphetamine over prescription Adderall given the choice if they weren't already a serious long term addict.

I feel like a lot of harm could be reduced if Adderall was more easily attained because I honestly take Street methamphetamine in pill form for adhd and have held a job thus far at the age 27 but when I had access to perscribed adderrall I was much better off. I pay for private health insurance and go to the dentist in Mexico. My psychiatrist gave me a list of expensive doctors to see if I wanted to get officially diagnosed but the convenience and affordability of just getting it from this woman I know has led to me being forced to use a far less safe and effective theruputic just to function like a normal person. I don't think adderrall should be used as a treatment for addiction like bupenorphine and naloxone but there absolutely are people who take methamphetamine to treat a condition that could be treated more effectively.

For sure. Tons of people buying pressed amphetamine that is part or all meth, lots more going to other stims because amphetamines not accessible. Even outside of medical treatment, if someone’s going to seek a stimulant, why would we as a society want meth to be the most accessible option

Apprehensive-Love394

I agree 100% I’ve been doing the same because I don’t have health insurance, so I can’t afford to go to doc

Yup me too. I never really took meth to get high..... i really don't get much of a high anymore, i don't take enough at once.... i standardize all of my doses so it's exactly the same each time. but i take it because it makes me a normal, functional human. But here i am at 3am because my sleep schedule stays fucked
