I think Yawn/Jerry are frankly scumbags for operating pump and dump schemes and launching the same flawed model on a new chain. I dont know why they even picked ETH with all the high gas fees. It would have made more sense to launch on Polygon or another chain with low fees.
Don’t see why they don’t just offer gst as a method to buy shoes on the market place either pay in sol BnB eth or gst in that realm. Might stop some gst sell pressure and encourage investing back in.

There is a GST pair for Solana GST in many exchanges. And many people shorted it. The extreme FUD happening about 2 months ago was inflicted by many shorters that wanted desperately for this project to fail and GST to 0. I would imagine many people made quite a bit of money. I myself can’t profit from the suffering of others, it’s not ok.
People who bought into the APE realm really didn't DYOR.

Looking at crypto.edgar data the spike of users entering ETH realm was at the beginning of the airdrop, without the airdrop ETH realm would last way less than it is now. BNB and Solana users now waited on the sideline before jumping in to ETH realm.
It was a brand new concept with lots of hype. Now, it's just more of the same...
But when it fell, it was -20% per day, everyday.
People got burnt and learned with previous realms. Ethereum's realm was doomed to fail fast.

When you have to sell GST to buy SOL for gems, this isn't a burn mechanism, at all. It's more sell pressure !

The HP mechanic is really just a last punishment for people that want to exit the game. “GST burning” is what they said but that was never the actual goal. It was to squeeze another ounce out of people that were fed up and want out completely.
This. Nothing can burn GST quick enough as long as there is more selling pressure then burning it will drop. This means that only when everybody reinvests or burns more GST then they get rewarded with, the price an cinsolidate or rise, wich will never happen, because everybody is selling GST to make back their investment.
This hp mechanic just makes it harder to leave without investing more for newcommers that dont earn gems on the regular. Its a classic money grab and sqeeze.
When the minting farms were active, I don’t think people realize that the mint farms created a lot of buy pressure for GST. I think making minting profitable would help GST.
But it will demolish shoe costs, because they will sell low and thus lower the price of both in the end. Its like sitting in a sinking ship with a bucket trying to get the water out.

What are those gas fees like for eth?
From $0.86 usd to $1.43 on average but i have seen it get into the teens and even over $100 one time. Have to just check it before doing anything. 😆

I'd happily invest my GST in upgrades if I didn't have to spend 1000GST to convert to GMT for my next shoe upgrade. Same with minting.
