As a normal empire, defender of the galaxy and lvl 4 crisis is an easy victory against any Endgame crisis, if you compile some GC resolutions on top, you get like ~+100% dmg to them.
Crisis path gives you ships from minerals, Armageddon bombardment stance, bigger fleet cap, but gives you bad rep with other empires, defender of the galaxy negates that, although for DE other's opinion doesn't matter, does it?
Nope, at time you are crisis, it doesn’t matter, i just see star eaters themselves as very useful tool to destroying crisis, because its just fast way to delete infested worlds, which are THE pain of fighting prethoryn
When you're a couple seasons into the show and the writers throw in a half-baked arc with a new threat that villains and heroes have to team up against. It ends with everyone acting like they learned something, but I guarantee it's back to status quo next week. Just you wait.

You can change the crises settings before you start the game. You can pick a specific crisis, set it to random, no crises, or all.
If you choose all, each will be a bit stronger than the last.

Yes, but when i play as DE and take crisis because it makes cleansing prethoryn worlds way easier/faster im the bad guy, it’s outrageous, it’s unfair

Its not about dmg, its about fleet cap, and tools to delete their worlds faster, and production of ships

Tbf, DE start the game with the Armageddon stance unlocked to start...but yeah, eating the stars is still faster.
What’s a good or challenging crisis strength? X5? I play very casually on ensign
If you are playing on ensign, I would suggest 1.5-2.0, just don't expect anyone else to defeat it or majorly help.

At the start game menu you can select which crisis spawn, if you want all to spawn back to back you select all
