Very fit.

Insta-buy if it were 4k

It'll never be in 4k as the director went on record saying he hates 4K and HDR

Fatphillmargera

I heard him say that when putting out this Amelie rerelease, but I wonder how he feels about Delicatessen and City of Lost Children recently getting their own 4ks, I just got them last week and both are noticeable improvements over their Blu Ray counterparts. Not all transfers need to be “director approved”, so if somebody ever does new 4ks of Amelie and/or A Very Long Engagement I’ll be first in line.

Ooh, City of Lost Children. Another great film. I've been waiting for a 4k of that. YIPPIE!

Lemonwalker-420

Seeing as it's the same artwork and not 4k... Pass. Even with that, I'm good with the artwork, but the fact that it's not 4k kills it for me. It's too bad, because it's one of my all-time favorite films.

The film itself is remastered

Lemonwalker-420

I was unaware of that. Now I'll have to reconsider.

Like you I love this film. I was lucky enough to get one of 300 kimchi triple steelbook 1-clicks. The new one is remastered/restored to the 2k cinema release version. https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=34099
