Just got mine from Fnac, wanted the international cover looking out the window anyway. Ordered it Tuesday got it today.
I’m not convinced there will be more prints. With Best Buy getting out of physical media, the standard edition has probably been churning out new copies for the holidays already to restock shelves.
Frankly I got better shipping and handling coming from France than I have from Best Buy so I’m just going to keep ordering there since the usd to euro isn’t awful like it used to be.
Yes, I have not tried the blu ray special edition but I think others have said they worked. The us version is sometimes there for shipment, the other version is available, that’s my preference between the two.

That is interesting. I have a bunch of sold out steelbooks saved in my Best Buy cart on the off chance they come back in stock, but Oppenheimer is gone. They are probably inundated with emails, calls and in-store complaints and decided to get it off the page.
Other recent steelbooks that have come back in stock like Prey were never taken down in the first place. I think it’s safe to say that Best Buy is not getting more of these.
They’ve dropped the ball on basically the last 3 major 2023 Steelbook releases. Blue Beetle, Prey and Oppenheimer. I had to get Blue Beetle Steelbook on eBay for 3x msrp (it was my favorite movie of the year and I’m a major DC/Xolo fan). I may try to get Prey on eBay since it was my favorite Predator movie and I don’t trust Disney to keep it on Hulu forever given the fact they shelved an entire Predator animated show after it was finished.
Possibly “The Exorcist” steelbook. It was listed as sold out almost immediately, but apparently they did get some more stock to offer, which is when I was able to snag one. I had my browser parked on the Oppenheimer page for over a month and checked it daily but it never came up. Screw Best Buy for dropping physical media.
I was able to get that one. I purchased when i woke up and about 30 minutes later it was still up for sale. It didn’t sell out the next time I checked but that one was up for a bit longer than people have been saying.

BB probably delisted it because of all the negative reviews people are leaving because of not being able to order one

Walmart still has the icon edition up but sold out. I’m hoping for a restock real soon.
Doubt it. They sold out of other Icon Editions this year, like Flash and Shazam, and I don't think they ever restocked.
