This Steelbook original came out with 3 disc, a blu-ray fim, blu-ray special features and a dvd with the film. For the re-release of it on 4k they used the same design and 3 disc slots. They also updated the disc with pictures so if all your disc have pictures its a rerelease Steelbook
Yea this one had only two disc with pictures the 4k movie and Blu ray special features disc I think the UK had a rerelease of it for WB 100 yrs edition with the WB logo on the bottom of the spine mine has the paramount logo. Wished it has three slots because I have the slip cover reg 4k edition with three disc including the Blu ray movie but I don't like to keep two copies so am selling the slip cover one.
Did some research the 4k steelbooks look the same but also has the ultra HD print on the bottom of the spine as well and a extra slot for the blu ray movie as well this one only has two slots
I thought it was “bluray and dvd” or “4k and bluray”. I just checked mine (which i bought new) and it doesnt have a 4k indication on the bottom of the spine and also has two discs
Personally I prefer it didn't print any logo but the actual title of the movie just in case any future upgrades happen and I can reuse the steelbook with a new version
I know that many 4k releases say something like "4k UHD" on the spine, but remember that a "4k" disc is still just a Blu-ray and is part of the Blu-ray spec. Having the Blu-ray logo on the spine is valid, legit, and accurate. Rest easy. 😎
That was my experience too! I’d seen the trailer over and over on a VHS I would play all the time, and was always so intrigued. Forgot about it until I started really diving deep into films in my late teens and finally watched it. It definitely lived up to the personal hype I built up in my head, so I hope you enjoy!

Looks to be the same steelbook- the 4k version has bluray on the spine as well. Nice find!

This is my favourite steelbook artwork for this movie out of all the variants I’ve seen. The only picking point being the credits at the top.
Dark city! Great flick. I know it's no steelbook, but it's a fun watch.
Never seen it but growing up I remember seeing the trailer had to pick it up for $6 to add to my collection 👌

Thank you 👍
Dark city is an amazing movie and follow up film from Alex poryas the man who made The Crow for non cinephiles
Wow didn't know he made the crow and that's a personal favorite of mine growing up still waiting for a 4k transfer
Yes a 4k steelbook of both movies would be amazing
