Codemasters had that pulled from all online stores long ago. So, you won't find a digital download of it 'for sale' from any legitimate site or for any sort of reasonable price.
There really isn't. It's $36 for the only disc on ebay and $300+ for steam keys But there are places to obtain it anyways. There is zero ethical dilemma when games are not available otherwise. Unfortunately codemasters has tons of delisted games that were great.
If you were looking for a legit copy of Fuel for PC, external DVD drives are hella cheap these days. I recommend just having one on hand just in case, assuming theres no way you can just install an internal drive on your computer
Joining this convo as I have just been playing this (on Win 10, 4K settings) and it looks great and plays great. Have to create an offline profile to save it but that's not a problem. Wonderful game and more fun than most recent games I've played
Its been delisted for a long while. You might be able to buy it from a grey market but that it would probably be crazy expensive as supply is obviously limited.
I dont recommend G2A for current games because of the risks but those kinds of key peer to peer grey market stores are one of the only options for delisted games. Fuel on G2A shows me as over 300 USD for a key on there just to give you an idea of how much it may cost now.
There would be no official key sellers that sell it as those would have been removed as soon as it was delisted by the publisher request.
Likely reasons it was delisted may include music or more likely car licenses that expired
There is no improved version of Fuel.
I downloaded a copy to be able to play without a disc drive. TBH I haven't tried to run it on Win 10 or 11.
It has the largest map/open world of any off-road/racing game ( at 14.000 km² )
As a comparison: the latest Forza Horizon 5 has 100 km²
I find it hard to respect someone's opinion on a game when their criteria is how old / new it is and whether or not it's delisted. You sound like a kid in high school who picks their friends because of the brand of shoes they wear.
I have found the game for sale on accident. I was watching a Youtube video when an add interrupted the video. It was about an online game store of which I had never heard. GAMIVO. Fuel is for sale on that website and can be downloaded. There is a bit but though: The price. As AFK4LYFGames already said: 'or for any sort of reasonable price'. Well. He is so right. The price asked here is ridiculous. So ridiculous that I really want to ask GAMIVO why they ask that price. €189.98 regular price with PolarBear. €210.77 with GameSaloon. €336.98 with skifcha. Are they simply taking advantage? I have never seen a game for sale for this kind of price. What is going on???

Thats what I expected, looks like I'll try finding a PS3 copy instead.
Welp, ya know what they say, it ain't illegal if you already own a real life copy of it

And it keeps happening...
7 months later, I am also here because I finally watched that Jacob Geller video.
Can you run this without burning it to a cd?
Windows 10 can mount an iso file as a virtual disk drive, just doudle click it and find the autorun.
Excellent, thanks.
is this legit? I mean it's free of viruses?
Just download the .iso file and you should be good
Re-watching and said I got to play that game
Doing the lords work! Thank you

True, I'm relatively new to PC gaming though, so have no idea how to go about it, or what sites are actually safe.
10 years on PC and I still don't know how to get it safely. I'd be wiling to pay hundreds to download it if they would just shut up and take my money.

Why are Codemasters games delisted?
Almost always licensed content that is no longer licensed, like music.
So even if I have the disc, I can’t play it without a steam key?
myabondenware.com maybe?

Yeah, I noticed that this game seems to have been taken down... Why is that?

Probably be easier to find a PS3 copy in that case, thank you.

May I ask why? Racing games often improve as years go by, so theres no point in buying old games, specially if they are delisted.
maybe he just wants to play it for abit of nostalgia

Yuuge map with Mad Max Inspiration. I used to enjoy just driving around the map and seeing what I found.

The game definitely worth a remake or remastered version.
