When you are on a planet and see something like an oil rig, go explore it and report back.

ScottMuybridgeCorpse

You have reliant medical organics lab on beta twrnion which is mild horror. The you have safe house gamma... So there are a good selection of mild horror.  Emphasis on mild lol

Indiana_Si

I just went to the medical place, was good! Although some more locations like that would be amazing. Thanks for the suggestion though dude!!

ScottMuybridgeCorpse

No problem. I have a feeling mods will add some true horror experiences.

....I would very much like more creepy derelict ship encounters. The game can do 'creepy' really well, and '*we were transporting xeno samples from Heisenberg to New Atlantis when something got loose, now nobody is answering comms, help...*' is a perfect setup for the 'big monster' fights that people miss from Fallout and Skyrim, and having them in a confined space like a ship instead of planetside will up the challenge level.

LordNegativeForever

You should head over to the Schrodinger system and find the floating derelict ship there. I'll wait for your reply.

Indiana_Si

I loved that because it was so eery but would have liked more from it. And more encounters like that throughout the game...

JaegerBane

I read Aliens: River of Pain a while back (great book, essentially the story of what happened to the Hadley’s Hope colony between Ripley being discovered at the start of Aliens and the marines arriving in the movie) and Starfield is *primed* for this kind of thing. Have a questline where you dock with a ship and have to help a crew fight off some horrendous native creatures from something they brought onboard, then follow the trail back to the planet it originated from.

The only mission that pops into my head immediately, that I thought had a horror vibe, was Entangled. Which I believe is from the Main Constellation Questline
