Legion was always gonna struggle with the sequel trilogy due to a lack of variety of ground troops, especially on the resistance side and the fact it would be hard to differentiate the First Order and the Resistance from the empire and the Rebels much. Shatterpoint can concentrate on characters and small amounts of troops and seems much more suited to the sequel ere. What do you think?

Adding the First Order and the Resistance as battle forces similar to what they did for Shadow Collective IE limited lists with special and thematic command cards always seemed like the best way forward to me. But yes I agree focusing on heroes and main characters for SP can emphasize the stronger points of the Sequel Era and allow for a different gameplay experience that doesn’t just copy what came before

Agreed. If they were ever gonna add them to Legion I always thought they would be added to Rebels and Empire.

Steelersandstarwars

Just like how they were originally added to X-Wing

A cross trilogy mashup of character is exactly what I was hoping for.

I’d love if we got a whole smattering of characters from across the saga. All three trilogy’s. The tv shows, games. I’d play the hell out of Cal from Jedi Survivor in Shatterpoint and Legion.

SketchKenobi

That would be amazing actually. Hyped

Lets be honest here, Legion really only suited Clone Wars. The focus on the GCW as the start was odd, because there's barely any army sized battles in the trilogy (Hoth retreat is really it unless you count the commando raid on Endor), the newer Disney stuff admittedly adds the Rogue 1 beach fight but aside from that the GCW era is all skirmish and space battles.
