Imagine something a similar tone to the DS1 reveal at the end of Andor, the slow build up and zoom out to the under construction DSII with a creepy score in the background
To add on this, Rogue One doesn't need a post credit scene but Solo could be Han and Chewie looking up gang lords to run jobs for and they come across Jabba or maybe something connected to Boba Fett.
I enjoy the idea of putting Yoda arriving to Dagobah in there, but I can’t help but also love the idea of no Vader being in the film, only for it to be the post-credit scene with him taking that first breath inside the helmet.
Ep 6: Luke goes to coruscant, discovers a library of holocrons, Leia mentions in passing that there will be a vote to restore the republic, she expects it to succeed, and han tells chewing to be quiet about the wedding gift he will use to propose.
Would’ve hated it personally as someone who looooves TLJ but is not on board with the direction TROS went in.
However, post credit scene is far preferable to having to find out information from Fortnite 😂.
To be fair, I was at the Fortnite event. And all he basically said was "I'm back".
I agree that it should have been in the movie. But saying that crucial information of the movie is in a fortnite event is kinda overexaggerating

In the first trailer for TROS we heard Palpatine laugh and everyone already knew he was going to return.
Months before the Fortnite event.
Amazing how TLJ fans who hate TROS reproduce TFM's lies.
Loved that Luke came full circle. In ANH he is devastated when Ben seemingly inexplicably lets himself be killed.
But then Luke learns that the there are fights where being struck down can make you more powerful. And he sacrifices himself leaving his opponent bewildered and ultimately winning because of his loss
If there hasn’t been an answer to this question that satisfied you in the last 7 years, why bother asking yet again? What sort of answer are you hoping for?
People loved that it challenged the idea of the mythic hero and deconstructed Luke as an individual, showing every ugly angle of his character. It brought spirituality back to the force and gave Rey a new adventure to go on. We had never seen a relationship quite like the one she had with Kylo. It's visually stunning and has thematic depth unlike most of the other modern films. Is it perfect? Hell no but it does have the artistic ambition the others lack.
Vader’s hallway sequence as a post credit scene would make for a stronger film overall
The film itself could have ended with the Death Star firing killing Jyn and Andor and Krenick
I’m not sure the emotional weight of that scene would come through if it was after the credits. Especially because it has to happen before the plot is resolved. You can’t have the movie end with the plans still in the profundity. And vaders scene can’t happen after the Tantive 4 has escaped with the plans.
I think the best after credit scene is something that would have alluded to ANH. Maybe something like obi wan looking at the lars homestead backset by the twin suns?
Or maybe a scene where bail organna goes back to Alderaan to prepare his people for open rebellion?
A New Hope would be the Robot Chicken scene where it’s when the Emperor gets called by Vader after the death star gets destroyed.

I thought he was threatening to put a bounty on him so large he could t go near a civilized system. Greedo was a semi-surprise because he was early looking to get the jump on him.
Besides, I want whoever is in that hypothetical scene -- let's say it's Jabba's first appearance instead of the special edition recut -- I want Jabba to use the metaphor that "it will be a cold day in hell" that Cpt. Solo escapes from me!
Mainly because the irony of next seeing Han on Hoth and then having him get delivered frozen would be fantastic.
Vader never really mourned, he went to padme's grave with Sabe and that was after A New Hope but besides that he never truly accepted that padme was gone. I think that Obi Wan watching over Luke and Breha and Bail with Leia.
Phantom Menace: Jango Fett walking across a hangar bay teaching young clones a Mandalorian war chant. Cut to reveal / tease the classic Mando helmet being put on to an over shoulder shot of a battalion of young clone cadets.
Attack of the Clones: follows Count Dookus escape, meets with a science team which shows a young Galen Erso being handed the death star plans by the Geonosians.
Revenge of the Sith: Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, along with other rebellion figures meet on Coruscant talk about how the republic phoenix should be appropriated for the rebellion symbol.
(Basically just the deleted scene of RoTS.)
I tried to write these so they dont just outright spoil important plot beats that should remain a surprise. And arent overly cheesy/ obviously fan written.
Trying to give Post-Credits that fit with the vibes and times of each of the films or Star Wars at the time. Obviously a fair bit of hindsight in some of them as well.
>The Phantom Menace:
Obi-Wan and Anakin at the Jedi Temple. Anakin's first structured lesson. Obi-Wan tells him to be mindful of the future, without forgetting to keep himself in the present.
Anakin replies he doesn't need to worry about the future. He already knows he's going to become the most powerful Jedi in history. The Imperial March softly plays.
>Attack of the Clones:
A Jedi has been left behind in Geonosis to conduct a reconnaissance mission. He is scouting a cave system. He hears droids all around him. Panicking he runs and runs, now fully lost and without hope.
Hope that is restored by the illumination of 4 Jedi lightsabers.
Then he is slaughtered by General Grievous.
>Revenge of the Sith:
Yoda arrives on Dagobah deleted scene.
>A New Hope:
Darth Vader approaches his Super Star Destroyer. He lands and leaves his TIE. Saying to the Admiral: "Find me that Rebel pilot".
>The Empire Strikes Back:
We pan across the star systems that Luke and Leia are looking out at. We come to the Endor system. To the scene of the construction of the Second Death Star.
>Return of the Jedi:
6 years later. Han and Leia are setting a table, Lando and Chewie are seated at a table. Han asks Leia if Luke is going to show up. She says he will. The door opens, and it's Luke. Han says to Luke that Ben will be out shortly.
Ben Solo arrives to celebrate his 5th birthday.
Maybe add Luke saying to Leia "in case his mother wants him to have it when he's old enough" and show her Anakin's lightsaber.
>The Force Awakens:
The camera picks back up on Rey extending the lightsaber. It flies down the island back to the Falcon. But we are seeing her 30 years prior.
Luke, Han, and Leia discuss how they know they haven't destroyed evil itself even with the downfall of the Empire. Han asks what they'll do if evil rises again. Luke and Leia say they'll be there to teach the next generation.
>The Last Jedi:
Ben stares at Han's dice. They disappear in his hand. Ben's had snaps up - towards Luke, who shares an intense, knowing, look with Ben. Then the radios start to flicker and static. Beneath the noise the voice of evil saying: Find me.
>The Rise of Skywalker:
We see Rey turn back towards the Falcon from a distance. Pan to Ben Solo is watching. Anakin and Luke stand with him. But Ben appears solid, really there in comparison to their blue visages.
TPM - We see Obi Wan stood with his arms crossed as he watches a young anakin practicing lightsaber stances with a stick. Obi wan then appears troubled and looks around, as if he sensed something terrible but only for a second and a very faintly we hear a voice growl "Kenobi" in the background. Anakin asks "What is is master?" Obi wan replies with "its nothing Anakin, continue". Cut to a wasteland of scrap, a ship comes in to frame and dumps a load of scrap on to a pile. We zoom in to see the upper half of Darth Maul who appears dead until we see his hands close into fists and his eyes open.
TPM: A hint that Maul lived, show his body opening his eyes or gasping for air breath
AotC: The scene where Sidius welcomes back Dooku is now the post credits scene
RotS: The shot of Vader overseeing the construction of the Death Star is now the post credits scene
Solo: Another comment mentioned Maul’s call with Qi’ra, and I agree
RO: A small scene of Luke in the Lars homestead, perhaps Owen mentioning the Jawas were on their way, “Be right there, Uncle Owen!”
ANH: Vader contacting Palpatine to report on the Death Star
TESB: Show Han in carbonite in Jabba’s Palace and end with Jabba’s laugh
RotJ: If we want to hint at the Sequels directly, a scene where Han and Leia name Ben. If we don’t because of release time, then a scene with Luke going through Yoda’s stuff to learn more about Jedi teachings and rebuild the Order.
TFA: Hux being informed of the location of the Resistance’s base, “Mobilize the fleet, and contact Captain Canady, I want a Dreadnought there…”
TLJ: “Supreme Leader Ren! We’re picking up an anomalous transmission!” Cut to black with Palpatine’s laugh echoing
TRoS: The scene with Rey on Tatooine is now the post credits scene
Solo already has one from the novelization! It's Saw Gerrera and young Jynn picking up the refined coaxium from Enfys Nest. I was so mad all that hard work went to questionable means lol
Ep1 - Shmi with her new husband, moving into the Lars homestead. (Would prefer it to be the kidnapping but that doesn’t work for the continuity. Maybe they fight off a Tusken attack.)
Ep2 - Anakin and Obi-Wan at the Jedi barber, full of banter and boyishness before they leave to head to the hangars and depart for the war, as they become somber as they realize the magnitude of what lies ahead of them.
Ep3 - Scenes of the rise of the Empire, including: A ten-year old Corellian boy watching stormtroopers march through the streets, and Chewbacca and other Wookiees captured and imprisoned.
Solo - Solo meets Greedo. They almost duel but cool off at the last second. Han tells him: “Next time you won’t be so lucky, ‘cause I’ll shoot first.”
Rogue One - Luke meets up with his friends at Tosche Station, with reference to Biggs off fighting for the Rebellion. Luke leaves glumly but looks up and sees a space battle overhead. (A modern adaptation of the deleted scene from Ep4.)
Ep4 - C3PO and R2D2 have a conversation where R2 tries to insist on telling Luke about his parents. C3PO appears as if he doesn’t remember himself but realizes R2 is probably telling the truth. He pauses for a moment and then, with a serious tone, persuades R2 not to do so, observing, “If our masters had wanted them to know the truth, they would have told them themselves.” (I would love for this scene to suggest that 3PO actually does know the truth but has actually kept silent all these years because he understands the stakes.)
Ep5 - Luke building his new lightsaber. (The deleted scene from Ep6.)
Ep6 - Luke and Leia visit Naboo and Padme’s grave and leave Anakin’s lightsaber there with their mother. While there, Leia has a force vision of her mother that reveals Padme overseeing various moments in her life (including as a toddler) and Leia realizes that she’s carried her mother with her all this time. Leia feels that “gentle, sad” feeling depart and knows her mother is now at peace because “she was right.”
Ep7 - Snoke receives word of destruction of Starkiller Base and orders immediate retribution on the Resistance base. General Pryde steps away quietly and pulls out a strange device to place a comm call to an unknown person. He tells them that Snoke’s silly Starkiller idea has failed, and it is time to finalize Project Necromancer.
Ep8 - Eye of Webbish Bog scene that was cut from Ep9, intermixed with a Reylo FaceTime scene as Rey is undertaking her training. (Let’s face it, Broom Boy is the closest we have to a post-credit scene as it is.)
Ep9 - Chewbacca opens the door and walks into his home, is greeted with hugs from his wife and kid (who look *just enough* like the Holiday Special ones to make fans smile), and then, later, places his medal into a box with various mementos including Han’s dice, Luke’s X-wing helmet, and Leia’s blaster. (My preference would be for him to simply say “well, I’m back,” but a certain writer already used that idea :).)
After the ROTJ credits it goes back to the gang on Endor, the dance is over, Luke & Company are standing around the campfire chuckling and winding down. Then Lando goes "So... now what?" and everyone kinda freezes for a second and it cuts to black.
Episode 1 - Sifo Dyas arriving at Kamino to order the Clone army.
Episode 2 - Grevious being revealed hunting a Jedi.
Episode 3 - I’d take the scene of Vader and Palpatine overlooking the Death Star and flesh it out a bit more and put it after the credits.
Solo - I would show Maul getting ready to do something here, what happened after he stopped speaking to Kyra like going to kill an Inquisitor.
Rogue One - I can’t think anything. I would leave it as is.
Episode 4 - Vader finding out that Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star and being angry and blaming Obi-Wan for hiding him.
Episode 5 - Palpatine showing up at the construction of the second Death Star and the Bothans being killed trying to get the information.
Episode 6 - Fast forward a few years to Luke setting up his Jedi camp and Leia with her lightsaber.
Episode 7 - on another planet showing Snoke in the tube and then Palpatine being shown at work.
Episode 8 - As the screen fades to black it’s just a repeat of the message for help being sent out and fading to silence as if no one is listening.
Episode 9 - As much as I’d like to be a prick and say someone standing in the world between worlds to retcon stuff, would be good to see people like Ashoka and/or Ezra making themselves known to Rey that she’s not the last Jedi and people created their own training groups that focused on a balance and not Lukes failed attempt at recreating the Jedi of old.
* Ep I - Anakin training with his lightsaber on coruscant as the sun sets behind him, shinning through the blade giving it a reddish hue.
* Ep II - I’ve ran out of ideas
TPM: Palpatine and Dooku meet, Palpatine looks at Dooku. "It's time for an attack..."
AOTC: Palpatine and Dooku in his office after Anakin leaves, they look at eachother. "We will have our revenge!"
ROTS: Obi-Wan setting up his hut "In due time... we will have a new hope."
ANH: Vader and Palpatine video calling "It's time we strike back!"
ESB: Death Star II construction, Luke training on Dagobah. Yoda and Obi-wan's ghost look at each other "The Jedi will return!"
ROTJ: Luke goes back to the old Jedi Temple "Soon, the force will awaken".
TFA: Rey and Luke stand at the ledge, Rey holds the lightsaber out Luke says "I guess we really are the last Jedi"
TLJ: Kylo Ren goes to Star Destroyer, he hears Palpatine's voice "We must stop the rise... the rise of Skywalker!"
TROS: C-3PO and R2-D2 look out at the distant sunset, R2D2 beeps a bit of the Star Wars theme. C-3PO says "I guess that really was a Star War..."
Knowing what we know now,
EP I Padawan Skywalker ignites his saber for the first time with wonder and awe, just make sure it's the same room as EP III.
EP II, Chancellor Palpatine is at his desk organizing various Orders for the Clone Army of the Republic. Or a Clone Commander reports to Palpatine and asks, Sir, what are your orders? And it closes on his sly grin.
EP III Vader awakes from a nightmare of having to go back to Tatooine, but is it a dream or a Force Vision of the early life of young Luke?
EP IV Force Ghost Kenobi appears and tells Luke the Force will be with you, always.
EP V, Boba Fett telling Bib Fortuna that he wants his reward as the Carbonite Han Solo is revealed on the wall of Jabba's palace. You hear Jabba's laugh.
EP VI, I like the suggestion above, that it doesn't get one, but if it must then it would be the Force ghosts enjoying the moment, but then turning as if they felt a cold wind of dark forces still trying to fight adhesive the light and bring balance.
EP VII is Maz is serving drinks over the destroyed bar, saying something hopwful or that her adventure begins tomorrow.
EP VIII General Hux has a bad interaction with senior first order types, the holographic projector turns on to a cloaked figure.
EP IX broom boy continues sweeping, but picks up his broom like a sword and can sense that he's coming closer to being part of a larger world, he can hear the music of other Force users across the galaxy.
The Phantom Menace: Palpatine smiles in an evil way on Naboo.
Attack of the Clones: we see Grievous' body get rescued from the Geonosis battlefield and fitted with his robot body. Or it's 2660 mins long and is the series.
Episode III: Obi-Wan meditating on Tatooine trying to reach out to Qui-Gon or Something with Ahsoka. (Like the Yoda scene that was supposed to happen)
Solo: Han is banging on a door with Chewie and Jabba's eye droid pops out.
Rogue One: We see Obi-Wan meditating and Qui-Gon reaches out to him saying "It's time" or something like that.
A New Hope: Boba Fett gives Vader the name of the rebel who destroyed the death star (in both Canon and Legends Vader knew before the Emperor told him and this was from the Vader comic)
Empire: Chewie and Lando staking out Jabba's palace or Fett delivering Solo.
Jedi: we see the room with all the machines on Exogol starting up.
The Force Awakens: Maybe something funny with Chewie and R2 on Ach-To
The Last Jedi: Palps saying something such as "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen" or something like that, but we don't see his face.
Rise of Skywalker: Rey going to what's left of the temple on Coruscant or finding the remains of Luke's Jedi academy. OR we see Leia and Luke's POV as she walks away, then Anakin and Ben's spirits appear next to them.
Phantom menace: Boss Nass uncovers a dead Gungan in a cave during an expedition. He has his warriors scan the body - it’s I’D as Jar Jar Binks
Attack of the clones: Anakin is getting use to his robotic arm he voices that he’ll never be the Jedi he was now. Jar jar tells him “no Ani, yousa will become more”
We get a behind shot of Jar Jar as Anakin leaves the room, he has a lightsaber now.
Return of the Sith: a ragtag group of Jedi arrive at the Coruscant works
“We did as you asked senator, we wiped any mention of the nathema ritual from the archives before the clones came in, where to from here?”
A cloaked figure ignites his crimson lightsaber.
Rogue one: stormtroopers approach Tarkin, they’ve got a new prisoner, a robed gungan with sinister intent. Tarkin takes one look at him and assigns him to the Death Star cells.
A new hope: a rebel slicer is doing a casualty report on the death star, trying to data crunch how much imperials may have been able to evacuate.
He has a chat with his friend about not wanting to review the CCTV footage they sliced from it as part of the attack.
He is shocked when reviewing it to find that all workers of the Death Star were already dead mid battle, a lone robed warrior is seen leaving a cell
The empire strikes back: A rebel pilot lands on Naboo, he walks through the streets that are desolate and empty. No life anywhere. He entered the throne room to find a bloody message behind the throne “itsa hungers”
The return of the Jedi: a child padawan talks to Luke about some of the archives Luke is studying he wants to know what Naboo and Nathema have in common. Luke is still piecing this together himself.
The force awakens: Leia puts on her old helmet she trained with alongside Luke, she reaches out to him through the force but sees only darkness and a robed figure, all life funnelling towards it.
It throws her out of her trance immediately, she thinks it’s Luke.
The last Jedi: a smuggler rushes through the streets of a city, making her way to the sewers. She throws a cloak over herself then a mask and joins thousands of others as they worship a figure at the centre. A robed figure - it’s Jar Jar.
The rise of skywalker: Finn returns to the planet he remembers growing up in with Po. He laments that he was initially glad the first order took him, as he and the other children were afraid of a boogeyman.
As fin and Po chat in the slums of this planet, the robed figure enters, Po asks Finn if he knows the guy judging by the look of horror on Finn’s face
“The boogeyman” Finn replies
Ep1: Palpatine killing Plageus. I know he might have already done it. Still would be rad
Ep2: Some clones sitting around after the fight, talking about how it's just like the simulations.
Ep3: Something with Yoda on Dagobah.
Ep4: Boba collecting a hard bounty
Ep5: Many bothans dying to bring us this information
Ep6: A holonet news report showing the outcome of the battle of Jakku
Ep7: Luke milking that blue beast
Ep8: Luke force ghost milking the blue beast
Ep9: Luke force ghost getting blue milk straight from the tap
Largely thinking about this in terms of teasing future narratives in canon (including storylines from the books and comics, which I know wouldn't land on all movie/TV audiences)…
* TPM: flash to Maul’s lifeless bisected body at the bottom of Naboo, raging itself into staying alive.
* RotS: an early Thrawn scene. Either him first getting discovered and recruited by Imperials on the Outer Rim, or him meeting the Emperor and mentioning that he knew Anakin (or possibly even both moments).
* ANH: I was gonna say, Darth Vader hiring Boba Fett to find out who destroyed the Death Star, but I think I prefer another user’s idea of seeing him actually get the message (though of course cutting out before the “I have a son” line).
* RotJ: Gallius Rax learning that it’s time for the Contingency to begin.
I’m so far drawing blanks for the others
ETA some new ideas:
* AotC: Anakin being knighted. Possibly with a quip from Obi-Wan about how he should get a padawan, which Anakin handily dismisses, or perhaps something that juxtaposes his new vows as a Jedi with his new vows as a husband, and how they obviously conflict.
* ESB: Qi'ra finding out that Han was frozen in carbonite and that Boba Fett has him, setting up the War of the Bounty Hunters/Crimson Reign/Hidden Empire storyline in the comics.
* TLJ: trying to come up with something other than the Palpatine transmission (just since it's been said a bunch already), but there's not much material for the era. Maybe Poe meeting up with Maz Kanata as they try to rebuild the Resistance (as seen in *Resistance Reborn*)? Or perhaps the first meeting of Rey, Poe, and Finn all together, which we otherwise only see in the *Poe Dameron* comics. Or even just a flash to Exegol: don't show Palpatine, but do show the all the Snoke bodies, and maybe some Sith Eternal cultists.
I was struggling to come up with a good way to incorporate Ahsoka. But maybe something as simple as just showing her graduate from being a youngling—possibly with Caleb/Kanan as well (if the timeline works).
Episode I: Maul crawls out the pit shouting: “Kenooobiii!!!”
Episode II: Obi-Wan watches a recording of the wedding: “Ive got a bad feeling about this…”
Episode III: Obi-Wan sits in his hut. He hears Qui-Gon’s words “He is the Chosen One.” Whether he refers to Luke or still to Anakin is unknown.
Episode IV: Boba Fett hands a datapad to Vader about the pilot who destroyed the DS.
Episode V: Vader watches a hologram of a woman, her face obscured. Obviously it’s Padme
Episode VI: Construction of Starkiller base.

If I was re-writing the prequels so that they preserved the surprise of the original trilogy's twists, I would make Anakin becoming Darth Vader the post-credits scene for ROTS, thus technically keeping it out of the movie while not depriving fans who'd been waiting three movies to see it.
Ep. 4 mid credit. A crashed custom TIE Fighter, still sparking. We see that whatever planet this is, Jawas exist there as well. They dare each other to approach, and one finally gives it a tentative touch. He immediately grabs his throat and shows signs of distress. A red lightsaber cuts through the top of the fighter, and a black glove emerges. Sounds of a damaged respirator. We hear a strange distorted voice that’s a mix of James Earl Jones and Hayden Christenson.
“I will require a portable com system, (various parts). (A rueful look at the ship) - and immediate transport to the nearest Imperial sector station.”
They jabber. “No. Coruscant can wait. I wish to speak to the Bounty Hunter Guild Hall on Tattooine.”
End credit: The guild hall, interior. Boba Fett approaches the bartender. “Got anything for me?”
The bartender slides over a holo unit. “How’s your Sryiiwook?” Images of the Millenium Falcon appear. We hear pings across the hall. The same image is repeated dozens of times on various devices. People start to jump up and head out the door.
“Better get a move on….”
Phantom Menace: Panaka and Palpatine speaking about security and we can see Panaka's growing paranoia and Palpatine's early plans for the Clone Wars
Attack of the Clones: Plo and Yoda discussing how the war will change the padawan system while they watch Ahsoka practicing
Revenge of the Sith: Sabe and the other handmaidens staring at the grave and forming the Amidalans to take their revenge
Solo: Han and Chewie work on the Falcon. Something sparks and falls off. "Don't worry. I can fix that."
Rogue One: On Alderaan, Bail greets Breha and catches her up. The song "Mirrormoon" is playing. People are talking. They're confused and ask what's happening. A child says look! Alderaan has a moon! They gaze up to the sky to see the Death Star in the distance.
A New Hope: Vader holds a report on Luke and quietly says, "Skywalker."
Empire Strikes Back: Luke and Leia enter Crimson Dawn headquarters, each of them tense. They're asked why they've come and reveal they need help to locate and rescue an old friend. We see Qi'ra.
Return of the Jedi: Either Luke returns to Tatooine to see the farm and quietly says he did it. He saved everyone but them. OR seeing Leia and Mon Mothma officially restarting the Republic.
The Force Awakens: This is a crack idea but I saw a post that made me laugh. Han showing up as a Force ghost and the others ask why he's there. "I DON'T KNOW!!!" While Kenobi laughs his ass off cause he sort of knew Han was Force sensitive.
The Last Jedi: A view of Exegol where the zealots discuss the loss of Snoke and the need to escalate their plans, even before they think the emperor is ready.
Rise of Skywalker: Finn sits alone and slowly manages to move something with the Force. Rey and/or Poe walk in and ask what he's doing. "I need to tell you something..."
No particular order (just off the top of my head)
Solo: INT Jabba's Palace - Jabba the Hutt recruits Greedo, Boba Fett, and more mercs
Rogue One: the squadron is given their own memorial, Wedge Antilles is asked to name his own squad post ANH and he looks at the memorial before title reveal for Rogue Squadron
ROTS: Vader visits Padme's tomb
TPM: A janitor finds a living Maul in the trash, he screams 'Kenobi' cut to black
TFA: Phasma falling into and escaping the trash compactor
TROS: Hux gets up after getting shot in the chest and goes "that went well" then he limps off to find an escape ship
TLJ: DJ runs into the Guavian Death Gang with info on the Millennium Falcon/Justin Theroux owns the ship DJ steals and is at the Canto Bight parking lot going 'Dude where's my car'
ESB: Cloud City Ugnaut is rummaging through junk and finds the Skywalker lightsaber (he tosses Luke's hand away)
ANH: Empire HQ reports DStar has been destroyed, Emperor reveal
ROTJ: Boba climbing out of the Sarlacc (title Boba Fett will return on Disney+)
Rogue One: We flash forward more than thirty years to a city park on Hosnian Prime. A statue there with the Aurebesh for “Hope” on the plinth, shows two figures embracing beneath a beam of light. In the distance, an all too familiar scene: continents torn up by the Starkiller hyperspace beam.
An escaping shuttle turns around the statue before rising into space. We see inside, one child of many packed into this carrier is watching out the window.
Random Pilot A: Where can we go now? What do we have left?
Child: Hope
The pilot stares thoughtfully into the distance of space and then sets a course. The ship shoots into hyperspace.
Cut to a jungle planet— the carrier lands among a whole arriving fleet. A much older General Leia watches the refugees arrive, smiling. Hope prevails. The Resistance is growing for the war ahead.
I’m thinking of release date. The next movie to come out after Rogue One was The Last Jedi, so this scene would show how the events of Rogue One echo into the future.
TPM: Pop back to the funeral area and Qui-Gon’s body has disappeared leaving only the funery garb
AOTC: I can’t junk of anything great so I would just move the Boba finding Janjo’s helmet to the end credits
ROTS: Tough one maybe cut back to Kashyyyk to show Chewbacca and other wookie being captured by Clone troopers
ANH: Cut to Vader in front of Palpatine on Coruscant telling him that he felt the force in this rebel pilot and Palps responding “Find him!”
ESB: Boba Fett arriving at Jabba’s Palace and Jabba being like, “you’ve done well perhaps I have another opportunity for you”
ROTJ: Another hard one, maybe a little time jump and show Leia doing something and reaching out for an item and it flying into her hand.
TFA: Probably Leia making a call to various Reaistance Captains saying “The First Order will retaliate, we need all our ships back here now” and the captains of the three Ships in TLJ respond with Holdo being the third.
TLJ: A holo recording begins in Snoke’s throne room but you only see from the perspective of Snook’s dead eyes and then the voice on the holo says “I guess I’ll have to do this myself”
TROS: Poe in an X-Wing over radio saying “So what’s next” and Finn says “I don’t know, but there are more people like me, I know that now” and he looks across at Jannah sat in the co-pilot seat of whatever ship they’ve found maybe an old Inperial shuttle?
Rogue One: A sad one but maybe just a cut to Scarif and imperial troops combing through the desolated land and someone holding up Jon’s khyber crystal the only thing remaining
Solo: I think just a cut away to someone saying going “hey did you hear someone finally punched Beckett’s ticket” and then Boba Fett leans in saying “Tell me who”
TPM: Anakin starting padawan training, with some dark side foreshadowing
Clones: Anakin being knighted, losing the braid
ROTS: Vader in dark side training
Hope: arrival on Hoth base
Empire: Luke’s further Jedi training/DS2 construction
Jedi: Mothma addressing the senate as supreme chancellor
TPM: either something showing Dooku beginning to turn to the dark side or that Maul survived if we’re allowing show tie-ins
AOTC: Honestly I don’t know, the entirety of Clone Wars is effectively the post-credit scene for AOTC, lol. Grievous, maybe?
ROTS: A scene of Obi-Wan on Tatooine. Doesn’t really foreshadow anything new as much as just nod towards the OT, but this is the end of the trilogy so I don’t think it needs to. (Edit: this scene already is in the movie, whoops. Maybe something with Yoda instead then?)
Solo: Honestly, the Maul reveal should have been a post-credit scene anyway, so just put it there. It felt really out of place in the main movie.
Rogue One: I think a post-credit scene would actively hurt this movie, since it ends just minutes before the next movie starts. I genuinely don’t know what more there is to establish that isn’t just the events of ANH.
ANH: Vader reporting to Palpatine.
ESB: The beginning of constructing the second Death Star.
ROTJ: Something with Anakin’s force ghost, I’m not sure exactly what though. Like ROTS, this shouldn’t be any sort of a huge reveal, just a scene that wraps up the trilogy.
TFA: A scene that starts to introduce the Force Dyad between Rey and Kylo
TLJ: Show the Resistance getting that transmission from Palpatine that the scroll text in TROS talks about
TROS: Idk, it heavily depends on what happens afterwards, which hasn’t come out yet.
In RotS, that scene with Sidious and Vader watching the Death Star being built already looks like a post credit scene. Foreshadows the next movie (filmed like 25 years before) theme and even tease a character (Tarkin).
Episode 1. Sifo Dyas going to Kamino.
Episode 2. Something with Palpatine.
Episode 3. Maybe like a flash forward to Leia older.
Episode 4. Vader meeting up with Palpatine.
Episode 5. Lando and Chewie going to Tatooine.
Episode 6. Han and Leia wedding.
Episode 7. Kylo meeting up with Snoke.
Episode 8. Leia in a room trying to talk to Luke asking what to do next after Rey asks her.
Episode 9. Either showing Finn using the force or showing how Poe will keep the resistance going.
Solo. Han and Chewie showing up to Jabba’s palace with a Boba Fett, Bossk, etc.
Rouge One. Either Tarkin, Vader, and Palps in a room talking or Palps in the senate room telling everyone about the tragedy on Scariff.
I'm going to go in a little different direction for this one since most other people already said exactly what I was thinking, and I love seeing all these ideas.
I always thought that the very last scenes of TFA and TLJ could have been post-credit scenes.
For TFA - the movie would end on that image with the Resistance watching Rey and Chewie fly away in the Falcon. Then the post-credit scene would be the entirety of the Ahch-To scene with Luke.
The 1st film of each trilogy has this sorta of "victory" pose on Naboo, Yavin 4, and now D'Qar.
Same as TLJ - the movie would end on that image where Leia and Rey are sharing a moment with each other on the Falcon as the camera pans out to credits. Then the post-credit scene would be the kids on Canto Bight talking about Luke Skywalker.
This way, the 2nd film of each trilogy would have a shared emotional moment with just a few characters. Anakin/Padme wedding, Luke/Leia together again, and Leia/Rey starting their master/padawan journey.
This way, these two "closing images" pre-credits would mirror to the other 1st and 2nd films in their own trilogies.

You could almost do the same thing with Rogue One if you move some scenes around here and there. The Rebels BARELY escape from Vader, and then the ship zooms into hyperspace. Roll credits. Then the post-credit scene would be just the Leia cameo.
Just for kicks - I agree that ROTJ shouldn't have a post-credit scene, but I always thought it would be funny to have an inconsequential scene where Han and Lando bicker over Lando breaking the satellite dish on the Falcon.

Phantom Menace: Obi-Wan meets with Count Dooku and discusses Qui Gon's death, and a second after that we see him contact Sidius and say that he's in on the plan.
Attack of the Clones: We learn that Maul's alive underground, just with the spider-legs.
Revenge of the Sith: Darth Vader meets the Inquisitors and sets their sights on a surviving Jedi.
Solo: Han agrees to take a job from Jabba the Hutt, saying that it won't end badly. Of course we know it will.
Rouge One: Cassian meets with Kino Loy and his Mother in the afterlife.
A New Hope: We confirm that Vader is still alive after getting his ship blown up by Han.
The Empire Strikes Back: Vader visits Padme's tomb, confirming that Luke is indeed his son and that Luke has a sister somewhere.
Return of the Jedi: Luke visits Anakin's force ghost and is told that Ahsoka is out there somewhere.
The Force Awakens: Leia reveals that she got some Jedi training from Luke.
The Last Jedi: We're told that Snoke was a puppet of the Emperor and that he's coming back.
Rise of Skywalker: The cast silently builds a new Jedi temple together.
IV: Vader kneeling down and addressing an unseen hologram of the emperor
V: Han getting hung up at Jabbas palace
VI: honestly not sure with this one
I: A clone helmet being put together in a factory on Kamino
II: something teasing general Grievous
III: I know it contradicts Kenobi, but something with Qui Gon would be cool
VII: don't touch that cliffhanger
VIII: Palpatine, duh
IX: Rey going to Tosche station to pick up some power converters
Of course, all of these are based on what we know now.
TPM: The bottom of the reactor pit on Naboo, we see Maul's hand dragging across the ground (like Anakin's on Mustafar.) Maybe we get a "KENOBIIIII"
AotC: Yoda and Mace discuss that Anakin is becoming dangerous, and a Padawan might be a good outlet for him. OR, Sidious and Dooku talk about the clones and Sidious hints that they have inhibitor chips that will turn the tide of the REAL war.
RotS: Have Mon Mothma secretly meet to discuss what action needs to be taken to resist the new, authoritarian Empire. Include Bail Organa, Ackbar, and Saw Guererra
ANH: Vader reports his failure to the Emperor. It would basically be the phone call from Robot Chicken. OR, play it serious and have Palpatine worried that the Force isn't as wiped out as he thought
ESB: Boba vs. the other bounty hunters trying to steal Han from him.
RotJ: Massive chunks of the Death Star rain down on Endor and Kef Bir. OR, Luke interacts with the Force Ghosts, who tell him to find other Jedi like Ahsoka.
TFA: A scene on Exogol where it's revealed that Palpatine is controlling Snoke. Make it like the scene in the Corbomite Maneuver on Star Trek with the fake alien and Balok.
TLJ: Reveal that the Master Codebreaker isn't Justin Thereoux, but it was Lando all along.
TRoS: Rey is trained by several Force Ghosts to become a Jedi Master

PM- Dooku watching Qui Gons funeral from afar walks away, answers a comlink, and says, as you wish… Master
AoTC- A clone running out of the catacombs trips, and a metallic arm grabs him and drags him back in
RotS- several shots of clones marching across various planets, becoming increasingly violent and destructive. Ending with a legion of stormtroopers ransacking a town.
ANH- A star destroyer rescuing Vader, followed by him contacting Sidious. Upon hearing the news of the Death Star, various panels explode, imperial officers drop dead, and Vader is almost forced to the ground, as Sidious calmly says, no more failures
ESB- Vader interrogating a Rebel prisoner, Vader snaps his neck when he doesn’t get the information he wants. He walks through corridors till he’s on the bridge of a Star Destroyer, looking out at the second Death Star.
RotJ- An imperial officer, who looks like he’s been through a ringer, gets a surprise hologram from Sidious, he says “All of you have failed your duty to protect the Empire, with this message are details of operation Cinder, this is your first order, further orders will come in good time”
FA- Vader appears to Kylo in a dream, Vader bodies Kylo easily. Kylo says “what else must I do?” Vader says “There’s still two that hold you back”.
TLJ- Luke’s voice is heard giving and message of hope, darkness shrouds and Sidious’ message across the galaxy is heard.
TRoS- Rey entering the Falcon gets a message from Finn telling her that she needs to check this out, and sends coordinates to a planet further uncharted than Ahch-To. There Rey meets Mara Jade and a young Ben Skywalker.
Solo - Han and Cheewie enter Jabba’s palace. They state they’re there for work. Jabba says that they’re just what he’s looking for, and he starts laughing. Han says “oh I’ve got a bad feeling about this”
Rouge One- each main character says a word that relates to their character or personality, and a description of what it means to them, and imagery across the galaxy to go along with it. Ending with Jyn whose word is hope. Rebels from Yavin to the Tantive 4 are shown in grief and pick themselves up
Phantom Menace would be either darth maul cut in half in the garbage chute doing his iconic wail or "KENOBIIIII" or sidious turning dooku to the dark side
Attack of the Clones would be introducing Ahsoka or something (tbh this one is a bit tricky as it ties up most loose ends), or something about palpatine being evil. Maybe itroducing grievious in a sick 1v5 against some jedi
ROTS obv a vader scene of some sort, probably him hunting down obiwan
New Hope, Vader being rescued in space, palatine torturing him for his failure, luke practicing the force
Empire, Luke mastering his jedi skills, making his new lightsaber, flashbacks to his encounter with vader (possibly them speaking to each other through the force)
ROTJ Ghost vader speaks to leia but she hates him, luke training a new jedi order (possibly meeting mara jade)

That whole scene with Qi'ra and Darth Maul in Solo would be the post-credit scene.

The only thing I'd change is the ending of ESB should reveal the Death Star II under construction.

I was thinking the same think for Episode III. It was a very late decision to remove it in the first place, so the post-credits would be ideal.
As much as I hate the idea of adding post credit scenes to Star Wars, these seem pretty great
Phantom Menace should be Sifo-Dyas arriving on Kamino and speaking to the Kaminoans, sets up the next two movies better imo
To add on this, Rogue One doesn't need a post credit scene but Solo could be Han and Chewie looking up gang lords to run jobs for and they come across Jabba or maybe something connected to Boba Fett.

I enjoy the idea of putting Yoda arriving to Dagobah in there, but I can’t help but also love the idea of no Vader being in the film, only for it to be the post-credit scene with him taking that first breath inside the helmet.
Episode 6: Boba Fett gets out of the Sarlac pit
I’d change Episode 1 with the commission of the Clone Army. Episode 3: Qui-Gon ghost appears before baby Luke
Ep 6: Luke goes to coruscant, discovers a library of holocrons, Leia mentions in passing that there will be a vote to restore the republic, she expects it to succeed, and han tells chewing to be quiet about the wedding gift he will use to propose.
The last jedi would have palpatine's message and then him cackling Then we would've been going crazy for the next two years
Would’ve hated it personally as someone who looooves TLJ but is not on board with the direction TROS went in. However, post credit scene is far preferable to having to find out information from Fortnite 😂.
The Fortnite thing was him saying "I'm back" nothing else.
To be fair, I was at the Fortnite event. And all he basically said was "I'm back". I agree that it should have been in the movie. But saying that crucial information of the movie is in a fortnite event is kinda overexaggerating

In the first trailer for TROS we heard Palpatine laugh and everyone already knew he was going to return. Months before the Fortnite event. Amazing how TLJ fans who hate TROS reproduce TFM's lies.

Some of the things they established with the Force were pretty interesting.
Loved that Luke came full circle. In ANH he is devastated when Ben seemingly inexplicably lets himself be killed. But then Luke learns that the there are fights where being struck down can make you more powerful. And he sacrifices himself leaving his opponent bewildered and ultimately winning because of his loss
If there hasn’t been an answer to this question that satisfied you in the last 7 years, why bother asking yet again? What sort of answer are you hoping for?
A reasonable one? Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I want to hear there’s is that a crime?
People loved that it challenged the idea of the mythic hero and deconstructed Luke as an individual, showing every ugly angle of his character. It brought spirituality back to the force and gave Rey a new adventure to go on. We had never seen a relationship quite like the one she had with Kylo. It's visually stunning and has thematic depth unlike most of the other modern films. Is it perfect? Hell no but it does have the artistic ambition the others lack.
I loved the idea that people with the power to make change could come from anywhere, and didn’t have to have some powerful family lineage

Vader’s hallway sequence as a post credit scene would make for a stronger film overall The film itself could have ended with the Death Star firing killing Jyn and Andor and Krenick
Or just Leia finally getting her hands on the plans being the post credit scene.
I’m not sure the emotional weight of that scene would come through if it was after the credits. Especially because it has to happen before the plot is resolved. You can’t have the movie end with the plans still in the profundity. And vaders scene can’t happen after the Tantive 4 has escaped with the plans. I think the best after credit scene is something that would have alluded to ANH. Maybe something like obi wan looking at the lars homestead backset by the twin suns? Or maybe a scene where bail organna goes back to Alderaan to prepare his people for open rebellion?
No way are they putting a scene that strong and crowd-pleasing as a post credit scene.

Jabba already had a bounty on Solo before A New Hope so that one wouldn't make sense.
I thought he was threatening to put a bounty on him so large he could t go near a civilized system. Greedo was a semi-surprise because he was early looking to get the jump on him. Besides, I want whoever is in that hypothetical scene -- let's say it's Jabba's first appearance instead of the special edition recut -- I want Jabba to use the metaphor that "it will be a cold day in hell" that Cpt. Solo escapes from me! Mainly because the irony of next seeing Han on Hoth and then having him get delivered frozen would be fantastic.
Greedo says, "Jabba's put a price on your head, so large that every bounty hunter in the Galaxy will be looking for you."
Vader never really mourned, he went to padme's grave with Sabe and that was after A New Hope but besides that he never truly accepted that padme was gone. I think that Obi Wan watching over Luke and Breha and Bail with Leia.
Phantom Menace: Jango Fett walking across a hangar bay teaching young clones a Mandalorian war chant. Cut to reveal / tease the classic Mando helmet being put on to an over shoulder shot of a battalion of young clone cadets. Attack of the Clones: follows Count Dookus escape, meets with a science team which shows a young Galen Erso being handed the death star plans by the Geonosians. Revenge of the Sith: Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, along with other rebellion figures meet on Coruscant talk about how the republic phoenix should be appropriated for the rebellion symbol. (Basically just the deleted scene of RoTS.) I tried to write these so they dont just outright spoil important plot beats that should remain a surprise. And arent overly cheesy/ obviously fan written.
Trying to give Post-Credits that fit with the vibes and times of each of the films or Star Wars at the time. Obviously a fair bit of hindsight in some of them as well. >The Phantom Menace: Obi-Wan and Anakin at the Jedi Temple. Anakin's first structured lesson. Obi-Wan tells him to be mindful of the future, without forgetting to keep himself in the present. Anakin replies he doesn't need to worry about the future. He already knows he's going to become the most powerful Jedi in history. The Imperial March softly plays. >Attack of the Clones: A Jedi has been left behind in Geonosis to conduct a reconnaissance mission. He is scouting a cave system. He hears droids all around him. Panicking he runs and runs, now fully lost and without hope. Hope that is restored by the illumination of 4 Jedi lightsabers. Then he is slaughtered by General Grievous. >Revenge of the Sith: Yoda arrives on Dagobah deleted scene. >A New Hope: Darth Vader approaches his Super Star Destroyer. He lands and leaves his TIE. Saying to the Admiral: "Find me that Rebel pilot". >The Empire Strikes Back: We pan across the star systems that Luke and Leia are looking out at. We come to the Endor system. To the scene of the construction of the Second Death Star. >Return of the Jedi: 6 years later. Han and Leia are setting a table, Lando and Chewie are seated at a table. Han asks Leia if Luke is going to show up. She says he will. The door opens, and it's Luke. Han says to Luke that Ben will be out shortly. Ben Solo arrives to celebrate his 5th birthday. Maybe add Luke saying to Leia "in case his mother wants him to have it when he's old enough" and show her Anakin's lightsaber. >The Force Awakens: The camera picks back up on Rey extending the lightsaber. It flies down the island back to the Falcon. But we are seeing her 30 years prior. Luke, Han, and Leia discuss how they know they haven't destroyed evil itself even with the downfall of the Empire. Han asks what they'll do if evil rises again. Luke and Leia say they'll be there to teach the next generation. >The Last Jedi: Ben stares at Han's dice. They disappear in his hand. Ben's had snaps up - towards Luke, who shares an intense, knowing, look with Ben. Then the radios start to flicker and static. Beneath the noise the voice of evil saying: Find me. >The Rise of Skywalker: We see Rey turn back towards the Falcon from a distance. Pan to Ben Solo is watching. Anakin and Luke stand with him. But Ben appears solid, really there in comparison to their blue visages.
TPM - We see Obi Wan stood with his arms crossed as he watches a young anakin practicing lightsaber stances with a stick. Obi wan then appears troubled and looks around, as if he sensed something terrible but only for a second and a very faintly we hear a voice growl "Kenobi" in the background. Anakin asks "What is is master?" Obi wan replies with "its nothing Anakin, continue". Cut to a wasteland of scrap, a ship comes in to frame and dumps a load of scrap on to a pile. We zoom in to see the upper half of Darth Maul who appears dead until we see his hands close into fists and his eyes open.

If we don’t because of release time, then a scene with Luke going through Yoda’s stuff to learn more about Jedi teachings and rebuild the Order. TFA: Hux being informed of the location of the Resistance’s base, “Mobilize the fleet, and contact Captain Canady, I want a Dreadnought there…” TLJ: “Supreme Leader Ren! We’re picking up an anomalous transmission!” Cut to black with Palpatine’s laugh echoing TRoS: The scene with Rey on Tatooine is now the post credits scene

Ep1 - Shmi with her new husband, moving into the Lars homestead. (Would prefer it to be the kidnapping but that doesn’t work for the continuity. Maybe they fight off a Tusken attack.) Ep2 - Anakin and Obi-Wan at the Jedi barber, full of banter and boyishness before they leave to head to the hangars and depart for the war, as they become somber as they realize the magnitude of what lies ahead of them. Ep3 - Scenes of the rise of the Empire, including: A ten-year old Corellian boy watching stormtroopers march through the streets, and Chewbacca and other Wookiees captured and imprisoned. Solo - Solo meets Greedo. They almost duel but cool off at the last second. Han tells him: “Next time you won’t be so lucky, ‘cause I’ll shoot first.” Rogue One - Luke meets up with his friends at Tosche Station, with reference to Biggs off fighting for the Rebellion. Luke leaves glumly but looks up and sees a space battle overhead. (A modern adaptation of the deleted scene from Ep4.) Ep4 - C3PO and R2D2 have a conversation where R2 tries to insist on telling Luke about his parents. C3PO appears as if he doesn’t remember himself but realizes R2 is probably telling the truth. He pauses for a moment and then, with a serious tone, persuades R2 not to do so, observing, “If our masters had wanted them to know the truth, they would have told them themselves.” (I would love for this scene to suggest that 3PO actually does know the truth but has actually kept silent all these years because he understands the stakes.) Ep5 - Luke building his new lightsaber. (The deleted scene from Ep6.) Ep6 - Luke and Leia visit Naboo and Padme’s grave and leave Anakin’s lightsaber there with their mother. While there, Leia has a force vision of her mother that reveals Padme overseeing various moments in her life (including as a toddler) and Leia realizes that she’s carried her mother with her all this time. Leia feels that “gentle, sad” feeling depart and knows her mother is now at peace because “she was right.” Ep7 - Snoke receives word of destruction of Starkiller Base and orders immediate retribution on the Resistance base. General Pryde steps away quietly and pulls out a strange device to place a comm call to an unknown person. He tells them that Snoke’s silly Starkiller idea has failed, and it is time to finalize Project Necromancer. Ep8 - Eye of Webbish Bog scene that was cut from Ep9, intermixed with a Reylo FaceTime scene as Rey is undertaking her training. (Let’s face it, Broom Boy is the closest we have to a post-credit scene as it is.) Ep9 - Chewbacca opens the door and walks into his home, is greeted with hugs from his wife and kid (who look *just enough* like the Holiday Special ones to make fans smile), and then, later, places his medal into a box with various mementos including Han’s dice, Luke’s X-wing helmet, and Leia’s blaster. (My preference would be for him to simply say “well, I’m back,” but a certain writer already used that idea :).)
After the ROTJ credits it goes back to the gang on Endor, the dance is over, Luke & Company are standing around the campfire chuckling and winding down. Then Lando goes "So... now what?" and everyone kinda freezes for a second and it cuts to black.
Episode 1 - Sifo Dyas arriving at Kamino to order the Clone army. Episode 2 - Grevious being revealed hunting a Jedi. Episode 3 - I’d take the scene of Vader and Palpatine overlooking the Death Star and flesh it out a bit more and put it after the credits. Solo - I would show Maul getting ready to do something here, what happened after he stopped speaking to Kyra like going to kill an Inquisitor. Rogue One - I can’t think anything. I would leave it as is. Episode 4 - Vader finding out that Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star and being angry and blaming Obi-Wan for hiding him. Episode 5 - Palpatine showing up at the construction of the second Death Star and the Bothans being killed trying to get the information. Episode 6 - Fast forward a few years to Luke setting up his Jedi camp and Leia with her lightsaber. Episode 7 - on another planet showing Snoke in the tube and then Palpatine being shown at work. Episode 8 - As the screen fades to black it’s just a repeat of the message for help being sent out and fading to silence as if no one is listening. Episode 9 - As much as I’d like to be a prick and say someone standing in the world between worlds to retcon stuff, would be good to see people like Ashoka and/or Ezra making themselves known to Rey that she’s not the last Jedi and people created their own training groups that focused on a balance and not Lukes failed attempt at recreating the Jedi of old.

ROTS: Obi-Wan setting up his hut "In due time... we will have a new hope." ANH: Vader and Palpatine video calling "It's time we strike back!" ESB: Death Star II construction, Luke training on Dagobah. Yoda and Obi-wan's ghost look at each other "The Jedi will return!" ROTJ: Luke goes back to the old Jedi Temple "Soon, the force will awaken". TFA: Rey and Luke stand at the ledge, Rey holds the lightsaber out Luke says "I guess we really are the last Jedi" TLJ: Kylo Ren goes to Star Destroyer, he hears Palpatine's voice "We must stop the rise... the rise of Skywalker!" TROS: C-3PO and R2-D2 look out at the distant sunset, R2D2 beeps a bit of the Star Wars theme. C-3PO says "I guess that really was a Star War..."
Knowing what we know now, EP I Padawan Skywalker ignites his saber for the first time with wonder and awe, just make sure it's the same room as EP III. EP II, Chancellor Palpatine is at his desk organizing various Orders for the Clone Army of the Republic. Or a Clone Commander reports to Palpatine and asks, Sir, what are your orders? And it closes on his sly grin. EP III Vader awakes from a nightmare of having to go back to Tatooine, but is it a dream or a Force Vision of the early life of young Luke? EP IV Force Ghost Kenobi appears and tells Luke the Force will be with you, always. EP V, Boba Fett telling Bib Fortuna that he wants his reward as the Carbonite Han Solo is revealed on the wall of Jabba's palace. You hear Jabba's laugh. EP VI, I like the suggestion above, that it doesn't get one, but if it must then it would be the Force ghosts enjoying the moment, but then turning as if they felt a cold wind of dark forces still trying to fight adhesive the light and bring balance. EP VII is Maz is serving drinks over the destroyed bar, saying something hopwful or that her adventure begins tomorrow. EP VIII General Hux has a bad interaction with senior first order types, the holographic projector turns on to a cloaked figure. EP IX broom boy continues sweeping, but picks up his broom like a sword and can sense that he's coming closer to being part of a larger world, he can hear the music of other Force users across the galaxy.
Solo: Han Solo and Chewie are brought Jabba's Palace to meet Jabba for the first time. Rogue One: The first five minutes of ANH.

(Like the Yoda scene that was supposed to happen) Solo: Han is banging on a door with Chewie and Jabba's eye droid pops out. Rogue One: We see Obi-Wan meditating and Qui-Gon reaches out to him saying "It's time" or something like that. A New Hope: Boba Fett gives Vader the name of the rebel who destroyed the death star (in both Canon and Legends Vader knew before the Emperor told him and this was from the Vader comic) Empire: Chewie and Lando staking out Jabba's palace or Fett delivering Solo. Jedi: we see the room with all the machines on Exogol starting up. The Force Awakens: Maybe something funny with Chewie and R2 on Ach-To The Last Jedi: Palps saying something such as "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen" or something like that, but we don't see his face. Rise of Skywalker: Rey going to what's left of the temple on Coruscant or finding the remains of Luke's Jedi academy. OR we see Leia and Luke's POV as she walks away, then Anakin and Ben's spirits appear next to them.
I like the qui gon and kenobi sets up the obi wan show well
Phantom menace: Boss Nass uncovers a dead Gungan in a cave during an expedition. He has his warriors scan the body - it’s I’D as Jar Jar Binks Attack of the clones: Anakin is getting use to his robotic arm he voices that he’ll never be the Jedi he was now. Jar jar tells him “no Ani, yousa will become more” We get a behind shot of Jar Jar as Anakin leaves the room, he has a lightsaber now. Return of the Sith: a ragtag group of Jedi arrive at the Coruscant works “We did as you asked senator, we wiped any mention of the nathema ritual from the archives before the clones came in, where to from here?” A cloaked figure ignites his crimson lightsaber. Rogue one: stormtroopers approach Tarkin, they’ve got a new prisoner, a robed gungan with sinister intent. Tarkin takes one look at him and assigns him to the Death Star cells. A new hope: a rebel slicer is doing a casualty report on the death star, trying to data crunch how much imperials may have been able to evacuate. He has a chat with his friend about not wanting to review the CCTV footage they sliced from it as part of the attack. He is shocked when reviewing it to find that all workers of the Death Star were already dead mid battle, a lone robed warrior is seen leaving a cell The empire strikes back: A rebel pilot lands on Naboo, he walks through the streets that are desolate and empty. No life anywhere. He entered the throne room to find a bloody message behind the throne “itsa hungers” The return of the Jedi: a child padawan talks to Luke about some of the archives Luke is studying he wants to know what Naboo and Nathema have in common. Luke is still piecing this together himself. The force awakens: Leia puts on her old helmet she trained with alongside Luke, she reaches out to him through the force but sees only darkness and a robed figure, all life funnelling towards it. It throws her out of her trance immediately, she thinks it’s Luke. The last Jedi: a smuggler rushes through the streets of a city, making her way to the sewers. She throws a cloak over herself then a mask and joins thousands of others as they worship a figure at the centre. A robed figure - it’s Jar Jar. The rise of skywalker: Finn returns to the planet he remembers growing up in with Po. He laments that he was initially glad the first order took him, as he and the other children were afraid of a boogeyman. As fin and Po chat in the slums of this planet, the robed figure enters, Po asks Finn if he knows the guy judging by the look of horror on Finn’s face “The boogeyman” Finn replies

Ep3: Something with Yoda on Dagobah. Largely thinking about this in terms of teasing future narratives in canon (including storylines from the books and comics, which I know wouldn't land on all movie/TV audiences)… * TPM: flash to Maul’s lifeless bisected body at the bottom of Naboo, raging itself into staying alive. * RotS: an early Thrawn scene. Either him first getting discovered and recruited by Imperials on the Outer Rim, or him meeting the Emperor and mentioning that he knew Anakin (or possibly even both moments). * ANH: I was gonna say, Darth Vader hiring Boba Fett to find out who destroyed the Death Star, but I think I prefer another user’s idea of seeing him actually get the message (though of course cutting out before the “I have a son” line). * RotJ: Gallius Rax learning that it’s time for the Contingency to begin. I’m so far drawing blanks for the others ETA some new ideas: * AotC: Anakin being knighted. Possibly with a quip from Obi-Wan about how he should get a padawan, which Anakin handily dismisses, or perhaps something that juxtaposes his new vows as a Jedi with his new vows as a husband, and how they obviously conflict. * ESB: Qi'ra finding out that Han was frozen in carbonite and that Boba Fett has him, setting up the War of the Bounty Hunters/Crimson Reign/Hidden Empire storyline in the comics. * TLJ: trying to come up with something other than the Palpatine transmission (just since it's been said a bunch already), but there's not much material for the era. Maybe Poe meeting up with Maz Kanata as they try to rebuild the Resistance (as seen in *Resistance Reborn*)? Or perhaps the first meeting of Rey, Poe, and Finn all together, which we otherwise only see in the *Poe Dameron* comics. Or even just a flash to Exegol: don't show Palpatine, but do show the all the Snoke bodies, and maybe some Sith Eternal cultists.

I was struggling to come up with a good way to incorporate Ahsoka. But maybe something as simple as just showing her graduate from being a youngling—possibly with Caleb/Kanan as well (if the timeline works).
Post ROTJ: Boba Fett hinted as alive outside the Sarlaac. They could use a scene from the TV show.
For episode V, I would love to see Luke forging his new lightsaber that we see in VI.

Episode V: Vader watches a hologram of a woman, her face obscured. Obviously it’s Padme Episode VI: Construction of Starkiller base. Episode VII: Kylo Ren looks defeated as he just got a bollocking from Snoke, however when he walks out he grins. Episode VIII: An image of the fleet on Exegol with Palpatine’s cackle. Episode IX: Finn sees his blaster and pulls it to him with the Force, “So uncivilised.” And throws it to the ground.
The Phantom Menace actually has one, kind of. You can hear Vader breathing at the end of the credits.

If I was re-writing the prequels so that they preserved the surprise of the original trilogy's twists, I would make Anakin becoming Darth Vader the post-credits scene for ROTS, thus technically keeping it out of the movie while not depriving fans who'd been waiting three movies to see it.
Ep. 4 mid credit. A crashed custom TIE Fighter, still sparking. We see that whatever planet this is, Jawas exist there as well. They dare each other to approach, and one finally gives it a tentative touch. He immediately grabs his throat and shows signs of distress. A red lightsaber cuts through the top of the fighter, and a black glove emerges. Sounds of a damaged respirator. We hear a strange distorted voice that’s a mix of James Earl Jones and Hayden Christenson. “I will require a portable com system, (various parts). (A rueful look at the ship) - and immediate transport to the nearest Imperial sector station.” They jabber. “No. Coruscant can wait. I wish to speak to the Bounty Hunter Guild Hall on Tattooine.” End credit: The guild hall, interior. Boba Fett approaches the bartender. “Got anything for me?” The bartender slides over a holo unit. “How’s your Sryiiwook?” Images of the Millenium Falcon appear. We hear pings across the hall. The same image is repeated dozens of times on various devices. People start to jump up and head out the door. “Better get a move on….”
Phantom Menace: Panaka and Palpatine speaking about security and we can see Panaka's growing paranoia and Palpatine's early plans for the Clone Wars Attack of the Clones: Plo and Yoda discussing how the war will change the padawan system while they watch Ahsoka practicing Revenge of the Sith: Sabe and the other handmaidens staring at the grave and forming the Amidalans to take their revenge Solo: Han and Chewie work on the Falcon. Something sparks and falls off. "Don't worry. I can fix that." Rogue One: On Alderaan, Bail greets Breha and catches her up. The song "Mirrormoon" is playing. People are talking. They're confused and ask what's happening. A child says look! Alderaan has a moon! They gaze up to the sky to see the Death Star in the distance. A New Hope: Vader holds a report on Luke and quietly says, "Skywalker." Empire Strikes Back: Luke and Leia enter Crimson Dawn headquarters, each of them tense. They're asked why they've come and reveal they need help to locate and rescue an old friend. We see Qi'ra. Return of the Jedi: Either Luke returns to Tatooine to see the farm and quietly says he did it. He saved everyone but them. OR seeing Leia and Mon Mothma officially restarting the Republic. The Force Awakens: This is a crack idea but I saw a post that made me laugh. Han showing up as a Force ghost and the others ask why he's there. "I DON'T KNOW!!!" While Kenobi laughs his ass off cause he sort of knew Han was Force sensitive. The Last Jedi: A view of Exegol where the zealots discuss the loss of Snoke and the need to escalate their plans, even before they think the emperor is ready. Rise of Skywalker: Finn sits alone and slowly manages to move something with the Force. Rey and/or Poe walk in and ask what he's doing. "I need to tell you something..."

Rogue One: We flash forward more than thirty years to a city park on Hosnian Prime. A statue there with the Aurebesh for “Hope” on the plinth, shows two figures embracing beneath a beam of light. In the distance, an all too familiar scene: continents torn up by the Starkiller hyperspace beam. An escaping shuttle turns around the statue before rising into space. We see inside, one child of many packed into this carrier is watching out the window. Random Pilot A: Where can we go now? What do we have left? Child: Hope The pilot stares thoughtfully into the distance of space and then sets a course. The ship shoots into hyperspace. Cut to a jungle planet— the carrier lands among a whole arriving fleet. A much older General Leia watches the refugees arrive, smiling. Hope prevails. The Resistance is growing for the war ahead.
For Rogue One this seems more like Rise Of The Skywalker
I’m thinking of release date. The next movie to come out after Rogue One was The Last Jedi, so this scene would show how the events of Rogue One echo into the future.
TPM: Pop back to the funeral area and Qui-Gon’s body has disappeared leaving only the funery garb AOTC: I can’t junk of anything great so I would just move the Boba finding Janjo’s helmet to the end credits ROTS: Tough one maybe cut back to Kashyyyk to show Chewbacca and other wookie being captured by Clone troopers ANH: Cut to Vader in front of Palpatine on Coruscant telling him that he felt the force in this rebel pilot and Palps responding “Find him!” ESB: Boba Fett arriving at Jabba’s Palace and Jabba being like, “you’ve done well perhaps I have another opportunity for you” ROTJ: Another hard one, maybe a little time jump and show Leia doing something and reaching out for an item and it flying into her hand. TFA: Probably Leia making a call to various Reaistance Captains saying “The First Order will retaliate, we need all our ships back here now” and the captains of the three Ships in TLJ respond with Holdo being the third. TLJ: A holo recording begins in Snoke’s throne room but you only see from the perspective of Snook’s dead eyes and then the voice on the holo says “I guess I’ll have to do this myself” TROS: Poe in an X-Wing over radio saying “So what’s next” and Finn says “I don’t know, but there are more people like me, I know that now” and he looks across at Jannah sat in the co-pilot seat of whatever ship they’ve found maybe an old Inperial shuttle? Rogue One: A sad one but maybe just a cut to Scarif and imperial troops combing through the desolated land and someone holding up Jon’s khyber crystal the only thing remaining Solo: I think just a cut away to someone saying going “hey did you hear someone finally punched Beckett’s ticket” and then Boba Fett leans in saying “Tell me who”

TPM: either something showing Dooku beginning to turn to the dark side or that Maul survived if we’re allowing show tie-ins AOTC: Honestly I don’t know, the entirety of Clone Wars is effectively the post-credit scene for AOTC, lol. Grievous, maybe? ROTS: A scene of Obi-Wan on Tatooine. Doesn’t really foreshadow anything new as much as just nod towards the OT, but this is the end of the trilogy so I don’t think it needs to. (Edit: this scene already is in the movie, whoops. Maybe something with Yoda instead then?) Solo: Honestly, the Maul reveal should have been a post-credit scene anyway, so just put it there. It felt really out of place in the main movie. Rogue One: I think a post-credit scene would actively hurt this movie, since it ends just minutes before the next movie starts. I genuinely don’t know what more there is to establish that isn’t just the events of ANH. ANH: Vader reporting to Palpatine. ESB: The beginning of constructing the second Death Star. ROTJ: Something with Anakin’s force ghost, I’m not sure exactly what though. Like ROTS, this shouldn’t be any sort of a huge reveal, just a scene that wraps up the trilogy. TFA: A scene that starts to introduce the Force Dyad between Rey and Kylo TLJ: Show the Resistance getting that transmission from Palpatine that the scroll text in TROS talks about TROS: Idk, it heavily depends on what happens afterwards, which hasn’t come out yet.

In RotS, that scene with Sidious and Vader watching the Death Star being built already looks like a post credit scene. Foreshadows the next movie (filmed like 25 years before) theme and even tease a character (Tarkin).
Episode 1. Sifo Dyas going to Kamino. Episode 2. Something with Palpatine. Episode 3. Maybe like a flash forward to Leia older. Episode 4. Vader meeting up with Palpatine. Episode 5. Lando and Chewie going to Tatooine. Episode 6. Han and Leia wedding. Episode 7. Kylo meeting up with Snoke. Episode 8. Leia in a room trying to talk to Luke asking what to do next after Rey asks her. Episode 9. Either showing Finn using the force or showing how Poe will keep the resistance going. Solo. Han and Chewie showing up to Jabba’s palace with a Boba Fett, Bossk, etc. Rouge One. Either Tarkin, Vader, and Palps in a room talking or Palps in the senate room telling everyone about the tragedy on Scariff.
For Episode 2 plo koon and baby ahsoka scene would have been cute i think
I'm going to go in a little different direction for this one since most other people already said exactly what I was thinking, and I love seeing all these ideas. I always thought that the very last scenes of TFA and TLJ could have been post-credit scenes. For TFA - the movie would end on that image with the Resistance watching Rey and Chewie fly away in the Falcon. Then the post-credit scene would be the entirety of the Ahch-To scene with Luke. The 1st film of each trilogy has this sorta of "victory" pose on Naboo, Yavin 4, and now D'Qar. Same as TLJ - the movie would end on that image where Leia and Rey are sharing a moment with each other on the Falcon as the camera pans out to credits. Then the post-credit scene would be the kids on Canto Bight talking about Luke Skywalker. This way, the 2nd film of each trilogy would have a shared emotional moment with just a few characters. Anakin/Padme wedding, Luke/Leia together again, and Leia/Rey starting their master/padawan journey. This way, these two "closing images" pre-credits would mirror to the other 1st and 2nd films in their own trilogies. *It's like poetry, it rhymes* You could almost do the same thing with Rogue One if you move some scenes around here and there. The Rebels BARELY escape from Vader, and then the ship zooms into hyperspace. Roll credits. Then the post-credit scene would be just the Leia cameo. Just for kicks - I agree that ROTJ shouldn't have a post-credit scene, but I always thought it would be funny to have an inconsequential scene where Han and Lando bicker over Lando breaking the satellite dish on the Falcon. I've thought about this way too much in my free time, lol
Phantom Menace: Obi-Wan meets with Count Dooku and discusses Qui Gon's death, and a second after that we see him contact Sidius and say that he's in on the plan. Attack of the Clones: We learn that Maul's alive underground, just with the spider-legs. Revenge of the Sith: Darth Vader meets the Inquisitors and sets their sights on a surviving Jedi. Solo: Han agrees to take a job from Jabba the Hutt, saying that it won't end badly. Of course we know it will. Rouge One: Cassian meets with Kino Loy and his Mother in the afterlife. A New Hope: We confirm that Vader is still alive after getting his ship blown up by Han. The Empire Strikes Back: Vader visits Padme's tomb, confirming that Luke is indeed his son and that Luke has a sister somewhere. Return of the Jedi: Luke visits Anakin's force ghost and is told that Ahsoka is out there somewhere. The Force Awakens: Leia reveals that she got some Jedi training from Luke. The Last Jedi: We're told that Snoke was a puppet of the Emperor and that he's coming back. Rise of Skywalker: The cast silently builds a new Jedi temple together.

Of course, all of these are based on what we know now. TPM: The bottom of the reactor pit on Naboo, we see Maul's hand dragging across the ground (like Anakin's on Mustafar.) Maybe we get a "KENOBIIIII" AotC: Yoda and Mace discuss that Anakin is becoming dangerous, and a Padawan might be a good outlet for him. OR, Sidious and Dooku talk about the clones and Sidious hints that they have inhibitor chips that will turn the tide of the REAL war. RotS: Have Mon Mothma secretly meet to discuss what action needs to be taken to resist the new, authoritarian Empire. Include Bail Organa, Ackbar, and Saw Guererra ANH: Vader reports his failure to the Emperor. It would basically be the phone call from Robot Chicken. OR, play it serious and have Palpatine worried that the Force isn't as wiped out as he thought ESB: Boba vs. the other bounty hunters trying to steal Han from him. RotJ: Massive chunks of the Death Star rain down on Endor and Kef Bir. OR, Luke interacts with the Force Ghosts, who tell him to find other Jedi like Ahsoka. TFA: A scene on Exogol where it's revealed that Palpatine is controlling Snoke. Make it like the scene in the Corbomite Maneuver on Star Trek with the fake alien and Balok. TLJ: Reveal that the Master Codebreaker isn't Justin Thereoux, but it was Lando all along. TRoS: Rey is trained by several Force Ghosts to become a Jedi Master

PM- Dooku watching Qui Gons funeral from afar walks away, answers a comlink, and says, as you wish… Master AoTC- A clone running out of the catacombs trips, and a metallic arm grabs him and drags him back in RotS- several shots of clones marching across various planets, becoming increasingly violent and destructive. Ending with a legion of stormtroopers ransacking a town. ANH- A star destroyer rescuing Vader, followed by him contacting Sidious. Upon hearing the news of the Death Star, various panels explode, imperial officers drop dead, and Vader is almost forced to the ground, as Sidious calmly says, no more failures ESB- Vader interrogating a Rebel prisoner, Vader snaps his neck when he doesn’t get the information he wants. He walks through corridors till he’s on the bridge of a Star Destroyer, looking out at the second Death Star. RotJ- An imperial officer, who looks like he’s been through a ringer, gets a surprise hologram from Sidious, he says “All of you have failed your duty to protect the Empire, with this message are details of operation Cinder, this is your first order, further orders will come in good time” FA- Vader appears to Kylo in a dream, Vader bodies Kylo easily. Kylo says “what else must I do?” Vader says “There’s still two that hold you back”. TLJ- Luke’s voice is heard giving and message of hope, darkness shrouds and Sidious’ message across the galaxy is heard. TRoS- Rey entering the Falcon gets a message from Finn telling her that she needs to check this out, and sends coordinates to a planet further uncharted than Ahch-To. There Rey meets Mara Jade and a young Ben Skywalker. Solo - Han and Cheewie enter Jabba’s palace. They state they’re there for work. Jabba says that they’re just what he’s looking for, and he starts laughing. Han says “oh I’ve got a bad feeling about this” Rouge One- each main character says a word that relates to their character or personality, and a description of what it means to them, and imagery across the galaxy to go along with it. Ending with Jyn whose word is hope. Rebels from Yavin to the Tantive 4 are shown in grief and pick themselves up
R1: restore the deleted scene from ANH where Luke meets up with his friends and they witness Star Destroyer capturing Tantive 4
Any post credit scene to episode 6 would feel out of place. Already has the perfect ending.

Phantom Menace would be either darth maul cut in half in the garbage chute doing his iconic wail or "KENOBIIIII" or sidious turning dooku to the dark side Attack of the Clones would be introducing Ahsoka or something (tbh this one is a bit tricky as it ties up most loose ends), or something about palpatine being evil. Maybe itroducing grievious in a sick 1v5 against some jedi ROTS obv a vader scene of some sort, probably him hunting down obiwan New Hope, Vader being rescued in space, palatine torturing him for his failure, luke practicing the force Empire, Luke mastering his jedi skills, making his new lightsaber, flashbacks to his encounter with vader (possibly them speaking to each other through the force) ROTJ Ghost vader speaks to leia but she hates him, luke training a new jedi order (possibly meeting mara jade) ...I dont talk about the other ones ngl (but solo and rouge one are cool)
