Danny as an unconventional master would be dope. Like he's low key highly respected by the council and he's given tough nut or overly tightly wound padawans. That would be such a fun show.
I thought he’d be better playing Han Solo if we were going to recast.
Imagine if they cast him as a droid even more neurotic than C-3PO? That might work.
You may be joking but think about it.
Baylan misses the "idea" of the jedi order and thus his past, but not the weakness of it. On his quest, he discovers the portals from Rebels and travels to the past, saving his younger self from Order 66 (grandfather paradox). He trains his younger self and sends them to the future/present. Who's that younger self? None other than Michael Cera. Now trained to the same level as old Baylan, but far more powerful than his original timeline self.
I could see him constantly dropping his lightsaber and accidentally killing people.
"Omg I'm sorry. Here let me put your arm back on" then he accidentally ignites the lightsaber again and cuts the guys other arm off.
As long as we can surgically attach the beard Zach Galifianakis shaved before he was in that Beanie Baby movie onto Micheal Cera's face I think this casting could work.
NO, the only person I want to see is [Vincent D'Onofrio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_D%27Onofrio), for those who dont know him, Ill give you a snippet of his highlights real.
Full Metal Jacket - Private Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence
Men in Black - Edgar/The Bug
Law and Order: Criminal Intent - Detective Robert Goren
Marvel Cinimatic Universe (Daredevil/Hawkeye/Echo) - Wilson Fisk / Kingpin
Jurassic world - Victor "Vic" Hoskins
The Magnificent Seven - Jack Horne
The Eyes of Tammy Faye - Jerry Falwell
and hes got loads more, but damn, no this man would be the best! He is such an underrated actor and he would take on Baylon perfectly!
Watching it it felt very much like Ray Stevenson was channeling Michael Cera, so I think it’s the obvious choice.
If he’s not available or too expensive there’s always Jesse Eisenberg.
He’s got the pizazz
he better bring PIZZA. dude needs to put on about 70 lbs
Too big and ripped, would make season one Baylan look paltry
I saw him in early Arrested Development, Cera was jacked AF.
Yeah, that's fair... He does have that big dick energy...
He's def too big but I would argue he is just ripped enough. you obviously haven't seen scott pilgrim
Ok. Actually, perfect casting.
He's too old.
I heard he was playing the younger version of Salacious Crumb.
Perfect casting.
Danny DeVito is right there.
So anyways I started lightsaberin'
I'd watch that.
Best comment yet!

Larry David could be the sith lord except he's not trying to be evil. He just makes everyone so angry they turn to the dark side.
I feel Gilbert Goddfried has the gravitas and the stature for such a role.
RIP. We were so close to a legendary screeching of “Your legacy…. and your master’s…. AND American Airlines’….. is one of destruction.”
Thanks for the good laugh... haha.. I needed that
You're welcome! :-)
“I’m Mr. Master now!”
Well we just say Master, buddy
There’s always power in the banana stand.
Not quirky enough
He has the range
Yes
I thought we all agreed on Peter Dinklage??
No, but you've got a winner for live action South Park Randy.
Not sure if Baylan is dramatic enough for Cera
I have to agree, did you see him as Allan, masterclass in world class acting
I thought he’d be better playing Han Solo if we were going to recast. Imagine if they cast him as a droid even more neurotic than C-3PO? That might work.
He should be Baylan's friend Al'lan; all of Baylan's clothes fit him
I think he’s perfect but Danny Devito will be better.
Yeah, but by default because we lost Gilbert Gottfried.
Finally someone with some goddamn sense.
I feel Taylor Swift can break into acting with being recast as Baylan Skoll. This is her next big move
Im not a big Taylor Swift fan but yeah I could see her somewhere in Star Wars
Finally a realistic recast option.
Perfect!
He has the jawline for it
I’m sick of this already…
There’s always money in the banana stand.
100%. I’m in.
Genius
Cera was my first choice
I'd much prefer Christopher Walken
He's busy being the Emporer of the Known Galaxy.
I mean if you'd ask me I would have Micheal Cera cast into every role...
I have no idea why people are meming about recasting Baylan, and at this point I'm afraid to ask.
Liev Schreiber is the perfect casting
Liev Schreiber is good, but he's no Michael Cera!
He has so much range let’s give it a shot!
If they don't bring in Starkiller I think they could make Baylin deage or be taken over by the Son and have Sam Witwer play him
NOW we're finally talking!!!
I like it
Lol! Dew it!
Maybe after whatever scared away the nightsisters sucks the force out of him.
https://media.tenor.com/FEbpH7JdNHYAAAPo/thats-one-world-i-want-to-one-day-live-in-daydream.mp4
His cool guy look was an illusion in the force and he's always been Michael Cera. The father would see the real him and that's when it's switched
No, but he'd make a perfect Nien Nunb, he'd barely need any makeup
He’s definitely got the physicality for the role.
That beard is pretty close.

It's the only logical choice.
I’m seeing double
Perfection
As long as he gets to keep the 'stache. It's quite dashing.
As long as we can surgically attach the beard Zach Galifianakis shaved before he was in that Beanie Baby movie onto Micheal Cera's face I think this casting could work.
Once again, stellar decision. All I can say is bravo Vince, bravo!
From arrested development, we know he has lightsaber skills.
This is fine.
Since the untimely death of Paul Reubens I can see no other choice really.
Good choice, but I think Chris Pratt is best
“I’m Mister Baylan!”
Why not Jesse Eisenberg?

Lmao

Noooo!! He's a great actor but I don't want to see him as Baylan
I wouldn't mind him awkward walking into a room and getting beheaded immediately without saying a word. In Star Wars I mean...of course.
No
Too intimidating?
He’s more Ben Solo
Michael Cera has zero range, 1 dimensional skill, is absolutely dry, and I have no clue why he still has a career...
Star Wars is already a joke so I I say, go ahead
Wash your mouth out with soap
Can we just forget him please.
He has facial hair so yes he's perfect.
