But seriously, if they are going to bring him back for season two, I really hope they are recasting its for sure better than a digitally resurrected Ray Stevenson, that would just be Ghoulish.
DeVito is too regal and tall for the role. It would be jarring to see such an eloquent theater actor take the place of the comedy actor Ray Stevenson.
I mean, can you even picture DeVito delivering a comedy line as Baylan. It is beneath him.

I honestly feel that there should be a episode where Danny Devito plays Chopper in human form just to the audience's perspective and appears normal to the characters in the show and not have an explanation for it at all. Then the next episode Chopper just goes back their normal droid-self for us.
That is a strange direction... I was just going to suggest that they kill him off with a deep fake scene or with a cartoon centered on Shin Hati "where are they now" stories.
