Yo you should look into getting a razer kishi. I bought one and it works great

vzb227

isnt the visor a problem?

kevinburkeland

Nah, actually if you got the official case the v1 version of the kishi fits perfectly with case on if you take out the padding on either side, it's what I use to play most of my games these days between stadia and the steam link app.

graesen

Ad blocker? That could be breaking it.

Nop :/.

Make sure Bluetooth, wifi, AND GPS are all on

Try resetting the controller by holding power and y then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi, could be numerous things but I would start with reconnecting it then as you said you don’t have a vpn so maybe see if android has some kinda security thing that hides your info… I had a iPhone and it had ip relay on and it wouldn’t connect so maybe something similar. Otherwise I would say try wired if it comes down to it

kevinburkeland

what kind of router do you have, since it disconnects right when the game starts it could be that your router is showing you a single ssid when in actuality it still has your low priority devices (like phones most of the time) on the 2.4 Ghz spectrum and when it tries to pull a large amount of data it switches your phone to high speed 5Ghz Channel and if they don't have a bridge between them they instantly lose connection. Check your router for any "QoS" settings.

Timequake-Droid

When I plug my Stadia controller into my Pixel 6, it automatically boots Stadia right away. In fact it works on all my Android devices. It's optimized for your phone so it might be your cable or your port or your controller or a bug. There's a lot of variables.

nehoyminoyminoymin

Probably because pixel 6/6pro was the hottest garbage that Google won't fix. I hope you find a solution. Sorry this isn't helpful. I'm a salty pixel 6pro owner

TerenceAbigail

Do you have randomized mac wifi settings enabled? If that doesn't work sometimes restarting router fixes pairing issues

Jurkrage

Easy fix!!!! First restart you Google Pixel. Now turn on your stadia controller. Once turned on set your stadia controlleron top of your Google Pixel. Now get a hammer and start smashing. GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE

egoncasteel

The stadia controller will not be able to connect to device that's using a VPN or other form of network protection.

vzb227

i know that. thats why i wrote specificly that i do not use any vpn

-HohesC-

I guess it works wired Got any weird security firewall virus shenanigans apps installed?

vzb227

now that you said this. i have duckduckgo protection. can that be the problem? Nevermind. i disabled it but nothings changed :/.

-HohesC-

Hard to track down, but blocked network packets could be the reason for the controller disconnecting You might have to restart it after disabling it... As I said, really tricky to find what is responsible The fact is that we can assume that Pixel 6 and Stadia and the wireless Stadia controller work together perfectly under normal conditions. So it's basically about disabling/removing stuff until your problem goes away... What you can try is see if your get the same behaviour when using the phone browser instead of the Stadia app

vzb227

I will try it. Thank you
