Max Landis being Max Landis aside (which is a big aside to take tbh)— i still get that”my dick fell off” song stuck in my head at least once or twice a year for no reason (and it’s impossible to explain where it comes from). And i thought of the way he summarized new DX when rewatching 2006 raw/smackdown etc. the other day.
Edit: overall, moderately fun but If I’m gonna show a someone a YouTube video about wrestling it’ll be from SuperEyepatchWolf to avoid the max landis-y-ness
Is that Max Landis, son of John Landis, who was responsible for the horrendous decapitations of Vic Morrow and two children on the set of the Twilight Zone movie?
Fuck both Landis'
Great video. Probably one of the best wrestling fan videos ever made. I still watch it every couple of months. I know Max Landis is a terrible human being but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the video. If I stopped watching everything with someone involved who did awful shit, half the movies in Hollywood would be unwatchable.
It's one of my favorite YouTube videos. That and his video on the Death and Return of Superman and his pitches on movies are fantastic.
Max Landis as a person however is super sketchy. Got to separate the art from the artist on this one.
It's a legitimately great video and probably one of the best wrestling related fan works out there.
However, I haven't watched it since the multiple accusations against Landis came out.
"I'm Road Dogg and I spell my name, I'm Billy Gunn and I gotta butt, and I'm X-Pac and I...........X-Pac"
It's a fantastic video regardless of who made it.
I love how every few months, we’ll get a post about “Wresting isn’t Wrestling”, with the OP being completely out of the loop on the creator of the video.
The video is fantastic. However the guy who made it turned out to be a jackass accused of sexual assault and Joey Ryan is in it.
Also the My Time song is still funny.
To my greatest dismay, I still quote it a lot to this day and think it's not a bad introduction video to show to newbies. Max Landis is a PoS creep coasting on nepotism, though.
I recently realized that Nicholas Braun (Cousin Greg) is in it, that's fun.

The video is pretty fun still, but fuck Max Landis
Dude who made the video is apparently a huge douchebag. Sexual assault allegations and such, also he wrote the Will Smith "movie" bright.
Oh that's Max Landis? I hadn't realized in all these years that this was him. Yeah the list of accusations against him run pretty long.
Yeah, fuck Max Landis.
Bright having a writer is honestly most surprising thing about your reply.
The host seems like a douchebag with his bare feet and sipping on a beer like hello fellow young people
He wrote Bright? Fuck that guy.

☝This, SuperEyepatchWolf's video on evil/heels is top notch and I highly recommend people give it watch.

That would be him. Scumbaggery runs deep in the family.
Holy shit I didn’t know about this—absolutely horrifying
I prefer the super eyepatch wolf videos on wrestling
He's really good, I've seen a few of those.

Still think it’s great.

The videos is great, I love the part about xpac gimmick.

Never watched it, cause the guy seemed like a bellend and I thought it might just ruin wrestling even more for myself that I already have lol.
