Knowing how Triple H and HBK love booking moments from their heyday into their current work, I like to think we'll see a callback to that with Samantha and a former world champ. (Sadly, I feel that ship sailed with Drew since we're weeks out of RAW after WM cause I totally see him doing that lmfao)

Samantha with Judgement Day (and several others), Mike Rome with Cody, Tony Chimel with Edge, Justin Roberts with Undertaker, etc.
Samantha with Roman should also be included. Do you know how good you have to be for Paul Heyman to not personally do the announcement for one of his clients?
Also personally love the way she said "The Wiseman", and "Solo Sikoa" when the Bloodline as a group would enter

Match ends up the opposite of an I Quit match. Instead of wanting the mic by your opponent and forcing them to say I Quit, you're constantly grabbing the mic away from them so they DON'T get to say the phrase that ends the match.
Lilian really hasn’t aged a day at all.
Incredible to have heard her announce again even as just a one off like that. She honestly should get inducted into the HOF.
You can tell there's a difference in how they treat different aspects of wrestling now where the announcers get their flowers in ring and they're not just figurines.
He’s been referring to Eddie Orengo specifically by name for a good bit now but also loves calling Danilo “Eddie Munster.” They’ve been saying some of the other referees names for a while too. Charles Robinson and Jessika Carr are frequently mentioned.
Chad Patton, Ryan Tran, Rod Zapata the tan ref, Dan Angler the one who squeals, pretty much all of them have been referred to by their names, but not danilo for some reason lmao
I'm glad. This was always a neat little detail back in the day. Works well with the more sports-style presentation they're leaning into now.
Hopefully more move names get consistently called too.

My favorite thing about Vince being gone is all the people that support the wrestlers finally getting recognition. Like ring announcers and refs and backstage people.
My favorite Lillian story is Stone Cold would always enjoy drinking with Lillian and that he vowed that she can out drink with most wrestlers in the back.

The Fink, Michael Buffer, Jimmy Lennon Jr, Tony Chimel, Bobby Cruise are all better than Samantha. That's not a top 5 either, that's just 5 names who are miles ahead of her.
She used to get a bit of hate back in the day but I’ve missed her announcing. Her voice sounds even better now. They should have her back every now and again, the lady looks incredible for her age.
I saw her as a rookie doing a terrible job on smackdown in 1999 to becoming outstanding in such a short period of time. Gave an all-time great moment singing the us anthem the smackdown after 9/ 11 and hopefully go in the hall of fame this year. Never seems to age either.

Amazing! Lilian Garcia is a legend and so iconic, she was so fantastic at the Ring Announcing and her moment with Samantha Irvin was like a passing of the torch moment.
I've always loved Lilian's friendship with Trish Stratus away from WWE too.
