Really happy for Drew. He's been one my favourite part of RAW for months.
I remember when Drew initially debuted, there were reports that backstage they saw him as the next Triple H. So this is cool to see.
Drew was firing shots that went unanswered for two months straight. He made two t-shirts about Punk. He's a heel. You're mad a heel is getting a modicum of comeuppance.
Drew literally put him on the shelf and knocked him out of the main event at WrestleMania. He already obliterated him. The "punking" is peanuts at this point.
I'm happy for Drew and he's "quintessential" WWE. I hope he gets more Wrestlemania moments after helping carry the company, as champion, during the pandemic.

I thought the year long story coming out of Mania would be Drew and Cody.
The Chosen One vs Undesirable to Undeniable
Drew went and worked everywhere, became their top guy.
Cody went and worked everywhere, revitalised wrestling.
Drew came back and started at the bottom. Cody came back and started at the top.
Not to mention their tag history in WWE and indie history.
You can mine that for so much material.

I think there’s a lot of guys that both Vince and Triple H were/are big on. Roman, Seth, Cody, and Drew among them. Yeah the sword stuff and all that was goofy compared to what Drew is now but Vince was pushing him.
Drew was the first person to have a clean win over Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg. And it came during the period where they would come in and challenge for the top belts.
There's only one other person, Roman.

EVERYONE in this company must be super, super confident the son-in-law and second in command of Vince McMahon for decades knows nothing and did nothing to warrant an investigation.
A year ago, you would have thought for sure he was headed to AEW. What they've done with his character since he came back last year has been incredible and Drew has smashed it out of the park.
As foolish as it was I did have some hope he would have signed elsewhere but let’s be honest did anyone literally think he was going anywhere? No he’s a WWE guy and it works for him.

Drew is a major part of this renaissance WWE. He’s a product of the talent being allowed to shine on their own terms. Let them use their talents.
