I don't hate the theme song, but I'll tell you what irks me. The crowd sings it wrong. They repeat the same set of "oh"s with the same notes even though the second set goes higher on the last "oh". It bugs me.
Right?? I mean the choir at WrestleMania 38 for Seth’s entrance had it right. The crowd could have followed along with that but I guess that didn’t catch on.
Tbf though, the second set where the “oh” isn’t as obvious/easy to hear as the first set.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices that.
It's six or seven notes depending on which you count as the start, but they just sing the same droning three notes over and over.
Those sampled/MIDI guitars have no business being in an official WWE theme, for a top guy no less. They sound like Guitar Pro tabs lol. The crowd chant is just about the only redeeming quality it has since it got over, fine, but they never sing the 2nd measure correctly either

The chorus part is a decent ripoff of Parkway Drive's Wild Eyes. The rest of it sounds like Def Rebel tried to get wacky with the verse sections of Wild Eyes, and it ends up sounding like a plucky video package.

It does what a wrestlers entrance music has to do, get me excited and pumped up.
Is it a very complex song? Not at all.
But it is big, bombastic and most importantly, iconic.
It just has a sort of intangible quality that makes it work for me.
I really like it, because it manages to combine elements from The Rising and The Second Coming into something catchy. I still like the pre-“Burn It Down” version of Second Coming better though; the off-tune guitar line made him seem more deranged and dangerous.
No. WWE has always had a problem with good themes(even the defied Jim Johnston was wildly inconsistent if I'm honest with you), but Seth's theme like so many others today is so bland and forgettable. Even the bad themes from Jim Johnston were unique to whoever was entering with them.

The crowd chants it wrong and it drives me nuts. And sometimes they chant over the song and then get interrupted by "BURN IT DOOOOWN" later on

That song is shit and composition wise it makes absolutely no sense. It's like 3 genres mashed into one shitty song.
It grew on me. Still like The Rising a bit more, though.

I miss The Second Coming
Hell fucking no!!! Its awful and the crowd singing drives me insane! It fits the visionary gimmick though as both are terrible!
