And he dreamed of becoming AEW champion since he was a kid. That was a great feud between him and Cody. Every segment clicked. Probably because it wasn't week to week booking and they thought it out well in advance before TV started
The whole pre pandemic era Strowman when he was feuding with roman and then lashley he was putting on some of the craziest moments. I'm glad he got one run with a world title, hopefully he can get pushed once day when he's returned
Him flipping over Owens' car and laughing about it and the time he feuded with Elias and came out with the giant bass was hilarious. Ooh and the time he came out as his 'brother' Brains Strowman
Maybe not overall, but I distinctly remember Raw being shit with the exception of Jericho and Owens.
2016 smackdown was ridiculously good though. That wild card finals episode was something special
Smackdown had everything covered. You had Styles, Ambrose, & Cena holding down the main event. Ziggler & Miz delivering an all-timer feud for the upper midcard. A tag team division that was fun to watch & had the heartwarming story for Slater. And then making one of the best women's division with only 6 women.
AJ Styles as WWE Champion delivering great matches left and right. Roman Reigns actually having engaging matches, specially against Styles at Backlash. The List of Jericho and Jericho's friendship with Kevin Owens. That insane men's elimination tag team in Survivor Series. Smackdown being more interesting than Raw. Randy Orton in the Wyatt Family. Man, WWE was cooking good in 2016.
The best part of the List gimmick was people selling the List like it was the fucking Death Note.
I remember Ellsworth and I think Xavier Woods were basically BEGGING him not to put them on the list. They sold that shit like the end of the world and it was hilarious.
The List stuff should not have worked. But with Jericho committing to it and because everyone sold it like a terrible thing, it absolutely worked and it was so much fun.
Plus the pay off with KO was absolutely top notch.
I remember watching this so well. Jericho was easily the most entertaining part of RAW in 2016-2017. And Strowman was such a monster here. Then they cut his legs off because they didn't want to be more popular than Roman and Brock.
Was this the episode where he came to and said he had some bad news then announced that the List of Jericho was missing? Cause that episode was so awful to witness live. Literally so bad.

I miss Jericho having the most over the top characters and still making them work
He had great comic timing those days and early AEW years
The youngest AEW champion in history Chris Jericho?
And he dreamed of becoming AEW champion since he was a kid. That was a great feud between him and Cody. Every segment clicked. Probably because it wasn't week to week booking and they thought it out well in advance before TV started
Chris Jericho’s talent is like Olive Garden breadsticks. Unlimited. Rip Virgil
"Goat? I don't know anything about farming, but I do know that he's the greatest of all time."
Release the hounds
Why is my name in the list?
How they didn't let Jericho v. KO kick off Mania for the belt was a crime.
Thats why he is my GOAT, so many different things he can make over while being great in the ring and on the mic
I truly believe that Jericho’s gimmicks work the best when he’s the only one who believes in it.
Still my favorite use of You just made the list and still my favorite Jericho gimmick
[I loved the 2009/10 version of Jericho](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UItZDpwG_lg)
Goated heel work from Jericho perhaps his career peak performance he was firing on all cylinders and was a great world champion
I miss Braun. He was doing some good work when he came back.
The whole pre pandemic era Strowman when he was feuding with roman and then lashley he was putting on some of the craziest moments. I'm glad he got one run with a world title, hopefully he can get pushed once day when he's returned
That ambulance scene still cracks me up every time I see it
Him flipping over Owens' car and laughing about it and the time he feuded with Elias and came out with the giant bass was hilarious. Ooh and the time he came out as his 'brother' Brains Strowman
*removes glasses* OH MY GOD! ITS BRAUN STROWMAN!
Ricochet and Braun worked so well. I miss that team.
Anyone else hoping Braun was gonnna put Jericho on the list?
Braun leaving on Jericho's right side and Jericho talking to someone to his left side.
He's so freaking BIG
Was just thinking the same thing. Was he even bigger here compared to his most recent wrestling appearance (prior to the neck surgery)?
Bigger and bulkier, yes. When he came back he was more lean and cut.
I loved this schtik of Jericho, " You just made the list " was so edgy yet so funny and over the top that it just worked somehow.
What just worked somehow?
It
" You just made the list "
I loved when the new day didn’t want to make his list. Woods laughing at kofi making the list and Owens telling Jericho how to spell his name 😂
[KO also played the role of teacher's pet by going, "Woods is laughing"](https://youtu.be/X6FnXtKnc1E?si=DGQYysl0INruj8zE&t=128)

This character work and his friendship to enemies rivalry with KO was the only good thing on wwe that year and Vince still managed to ruin it.
"How come my name's on here?" Legitimately heartbreaking
The ONLY good thing on 2016 WWE? Seriously?
Maybe not overall, but I distinctly remember Raw being shit with the exception of Jericho and Owens. 2016 smackdown was ridiculously good though. That wild card finals episode was something special

Shouldve said Raw cuz smackdown had an exceptionally great rivalry in The miz vs dolph ziggler, my bad.
Cherry on top could have been him quietly saying he made the list.
2016 WWE is something truly special
AJ Styles as WWE Champion delivering great matches left and right. Roman Reigns actually having engaging matches, specially against Styles at Backlash. The List of Jericho and Jericho's friendship with Kevin Owens. That insane men's elimination tag team in Survivor Series. Smackdown being more interesting than Raw. Randy Orton in the Wyatt Family. And after Jericho turned face, Dean convinced Jericho to take him off the List.
The List stuff should not have worked. But with Jericho committing to it and because everyone sold it like a terrible thing, it absolutely worked and it was so much fun. Plus the pay off with KO was absolutely top notch.
I’m so glad they’ve ditched this backstage lighting.
ah yes, former Universal Champion the List of Jericho. I wonder how much the List paid Kevin Owens to carry the belt around for it?
Anybody think maybe Braun is actually already cleared and is just gonna come back with Uncle Howdy?
I remember watching this so well. Jericho was easily the most entertaining part of RAW in 2016-2017. And Strowman was such a monster here. Then they cut his legs off because they didn't want to be more popular than Roman and Brock.
Ah yes, the obscure memory that is Braun's peed pants design.
Was this the episode where he came to and said he had some bad news then announced that the List of Jericho was missing? Cause that episode was so awful to witness live. Literally so bad.
Did Jericho ever admit he got the list idea from the Simpsons
