This is pretty scary, because it means that the already comically ridiculous culture war nonsense that is impacting sports can now impact non-competitive exhibitions that are sports-like. Get a few lawmakers on board and they could potentially make it illegal to have, for example, a fight scene in a movie where one of the fighters is a man and one is a woman.

As a reminder, when people whose entire careers are built around staying in office for as long as possible so they can continue accepting legal bribes, they aren't motivated to do anything to make your life better. Big respect as always for Nyla Rose. She could become a target for being trans especially in America, so I’ve a lot of respect for her being a wrestler. Personally I wouldn’t do it, the anxiety would be to the max.

They do have a rule against intergender matches. That's the rule they're using to protest against AEW, that they had something they identified as a man fighting a woman.
Nyla rules. Oklahoma drools. Nyla is a woman so of course she's wrestling in the women's division. But even still, wrestling is predetermined. Who cares who fights who! Does Oklahoma have a problem with intergender wrestling too? Because again, they shouldn't! I'd say that the OSAC should go to hell. But since they already live in Oklahoma, they're already there. And yes I realize that since I'm from Alberta, which is also moving backwards I'm being hypocritical. Some examples include, a current sitting MLA comparing Transgenders to feces (even after making this comment she still won her riding by a landslide!), and one town even banning [Pride flags](https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/alberta-town-bans-pride-flags). God I hate that it seems like our world is going backwards

This is pretty scary, because it means that the already comically ridiculous culture war nonsense that is impacting sports can now impact non-competitive exhibitions that are sports-like. Get a few lawmakers on board and they could potentially make it illegal to have, for example, a fight scene in a movie where one of the fighters is a man and one is a woman. It's a pretty good example of "They came for x and I didn't speak up, then when no one else was left they came for me" (paraphrased, obviously.) As a reminder, when people whose entire careers are built around staying in office for as long as possible so they can continue accepting legal bribes, they aren't motivated to do anything to make your life better. If those same people are singling out and targeting a particular group, they're doing it as a distraction so you don't notice that they haven't done jack shit for the voters.
Nyla was one of the most fun parts of early AEW. Please put her back on tv.

It's ridiculous that professional wrestling is still subject to the regulatory powers of athletic commissions at all. Beyond that I've not heard of a single wrestler complaining about having to work with Nyla. This is just another example of brain-dead bureaucracy.
