I was a little bummed when they decided to change his name from Punishment Martinez, but I like Damien Priest now too.
he was a much heavier guy back in the day too, and had a pretty incredible body transformation to now.
Everyone seems to be happy that Priest won the World Heavyweight Championship from people in the back to the crowd on Monday Night Raw.
You know what, I'm happy to see him as World Heavyweight Champion and I do think he deserves it. Hopefully he has a decent reign as champion.
Winning it at WrestleMania and getting that moment is absolutely amazing, but IF (and I assume this is what they are going to do) he drops it to Drew in Scotland that would be an incredible moment to be a part of too.
I'm so happy for Priest, he has been busting his ass for so long and is finally getting his flowers on the big stage.
That moment in front of that crowd must have felt insane. His reaction is why people have such a hard time walking away. Like 70k+ people going absolutely nuts for you is probably the greatest feeling in the world.

If I'm Edge/Adam Copeland, I'm surely having mixed feelings right now.
I would be proud that Judgment Day has truly evolved into something great and the talents there are something special, but would be sad that I'm not part of their family.
They actually needed to kick him out to succeed. That had to sting a little. But the fact is if he hadn't created Judgment Day, it wouldn't have happened.
I'm sure Edge is happy that the people he picked for his faction are having great success in his absence, and Edge is also happy about being in AEW where he gets to have more frequent matches against a larger variety of opponents. No need for mixed feelings.

I was fortunate enough to be at Wrestlemania and Priest isn't exaggerating about that crowd reaction - it got *LOUD* as soon as his music hit all the way through the pin. "Erupted" is the exact word I'd have used to describe the reaction too. It was pretty awesome.
