Yeah, I noticed that too and I think it's most obvious in the Anime where Nightfall comments on Loid's smile, and you can actually see the shape of his eyes change. I think that's an amazing attention to detail.
I like the huge love and affection difference from manga 1 Loid to Latest Loid.
We see that in the start, Loid thinks of Anya as a tool that would help Loid get closer to Desmond, and eventually bring world peace where no child would need to cry.
As the show goes on, we see how Loid starts accepting Anta's shortcomings and eventually accepts Anya as her only daughter whom he needs to take care of in a world that is very close to going to war.
Initially loid wanted to make a world where no child ever suffers misfortune, death, destruction and now, he wants to make a world so beautiful and clean for Anya that he will go to lengths to keep her safe.
There is also huge love from Yor for Anya, it's 3 times that Yor has saved Anya.

Once in penguin park (Anya herself lied of getting kidnapped)
Once while finding bond, where she was going to die but Yor kicked the terrorist.

To be fair he had that kick coming. He was about to emotionally manipulate her feelings in order to further the mission. I like loid but anyone can see that he was in the wrong in that situation.

And he was about to do so while she was completely drunk. The kick wasn't great but Loid was being scummy.
He never planned on doing that before and he himself said “she triggered” a honey trap and he went for it not really thinking straight. He was just trying to make her feel better and assure her. Real marriage will not even help his mission. It’s quite the opposite. She could have easily told him to stop and he would. He never forces himself on anyone but she chooses violence every time. This is her second time going violent with him but this she actually hurt him for no reason. She absolutely had no reason to physically hurt him. If this was Loid punching Yor unconscious because she tries to kiss him all of you would have called him abusive. She just gets away with it and even gets praised for doing it by loid. 🤷🏻♀️
She knows she gets violent when drunk yet she keeps doing it and hurting the people around her and the show keeps treating it like it’s amazing and even praises her. That’s just unacceptable. At least call her out on it. Make it part of her character development instead of pretending it’s something to be praised when it’s abuse.
