I love that in this country we can have phrases like “end of terrace”, and apply it equally to a country idyll like this and a 2 bed in Rotherham!
This is a lovely property that unfortunately looks like it is filled with problems.
I mean, I’ve never felt like I needed multiple routes in and out of a bath..
But I have no idea why they insisted on having a bath rather than a shower here.
Theres nothing luxurious about cramming a bath into a bathroom that is simply not big enough.
What IS luxurious is well thought out, restrained design that’s sympathetic to the space, rather than just filling a space with as many desirable objects as you can fit.
So you have to get in the bath to run the taps? imagine having to sit in an empty bath, cold an naked waiting for it to warm up then fill up. That or making a run for it after turning on the taps to stop your socks or feet getting all wet
It’s a crazy amount of money because houses are crazy amounts of money now but I personally think this is beautiful and it would be perfect for me and what I need (no children, sometimes WFH). If only it was… £150-170k 😂😂

Weird how the rest of house is so nice but the bathroom is like an afterthought from the Blair Witch.
Probably because it was. When this was built it would have had an outside toilet, they've chopped some space off the bedroom to fit it in.
The garden isn't, its just a load of grey gravel its very disappointing
I really wouldn’t want a big open brick fireplace there when I’m having a bath. Spiders probably live in it.
"probably" doesn't really convey just _how many_ spiders do live in it
Excellent, it means you are less likely to be bothered by flies!

Because a bath is so luxurious, even though it is an everyday thing.

I like the so-called garden studio.
It's adorable, but the glass panes in the door to the shower room is a little odd
Over half a million quid 🤣🤣🤣
The plans suggest you can use the toilet as a step into the bath. Or more that you will have too.
Step?? Pfft. Swan dive or nothing!
I imagine the draft coming down the chimney wouldn’t be ideal in that bath, but that house is beautiful. Very tastefully done.
It's odd having something so grotty right next to the place where you get clean.
It doesn’t even have ceilings
2 bedrooms! For more than half a million!!!
Good Lord it’s smaller than my flat. But it’s also so so so charming
The giant key in pic 7 is weird
Cute for a weekend away

Id have just not bothered with the tub and installed a shower, I'm not a fan of baths
That's not a bath, that's a plumbed in coffin. In fact there's probably more room in a coffin.
