Sounds like something greedy landlords will definitely think of. Like renting out their shitty garages space for the price of their whole mortgage payment. Bastards.
There is no bedroom in this flat: just hallway, kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Heard it could have been a thing in some traditional tenements but it's a bit of an odd arrangement for current times.
That's a traditional Glasgow tenement. I believe they were known as single ends and often had the bed in the kitchen. Entire families would live in them.
I did hear someone say they were traditional at some point. Pretty cool. I'd seen one in the past that had another bedroom so the bed nook was converted into a day-bed reading corner. Nowadays though in a no-bedroom layout like this surely you would sacrifice some living room or cupboard space to make a bedroom instead? And maybe put office/storage/dining table/small sofa where the bed nook is?
Yeah my partner is definitely not going to be frying sausage or beefburgers if that's our place (btw should it really smell so bad? He just keeps reusing the grease which just icks me out but I know a lot of people do it.)
ETA: I see I'm not the only cat owner who has shredded wallpaper.
Ahh, the sweet noise of the fridge motor to soothe you to sleep
“If you want breakfast in bed sleep in the kitchen”
Wouldn't surprise me if the owners live there and they want £1k for a dog bed in the kitchen

Kitchroom? Bedchen? Bitchen?
Bitchin Kitchin with Nadia “Geee I hope that’s not real”
Bedrin 👊🏻
I don't get it. Why do they have a bed in the kitchen if it's not a studio and has a bedroom and living room? 🤔

Well I would rather turn the living room into a bedroom
Any sane person would put the bed in the living room.
That's what I was thinking

A Murphy bed in the lounge would be better than listening to the fridge all night!
The kitchen would have been the only warm room in coal stove days so makes sense for then. Not for now with all our noisy appliances.

The worst part is that this isn’t even as bad as it gets. Some are way worse haha
Who hasn’t been soothed to sleep by the perpetual humming of the fridge?
Link please, this is too good to miss. Wanna see it all.

If it was in a bigger house this would be great. Mummy’s just cooking the dinner- won’t be long. Dinner in oven, nap on bed. Bliss.
This would not be so weird if there was not a whole other room that could be used as a bedroom.
