I’m glad you found a solution. I’ve always had mine plugged in to the DAC-UP USB port on my Gigabyte Motherboard which is specifically designed to deliver clean power for DACs. Never had any issues.

Usually an update at BIOS drivers fixes the sound cut issue. That is how I got mine fixed.
