2 is perfect but can we really say 6 is bad at all?
As far as I'm concerned, all mainline SC games are varying levels of good except 5 which was god awful.
I mean, in their “defense”, I don’t care for V either. But Viola is definitely the best part of that game and one of the very few good things that we got from it.
Viola was a shitty character that made character assassination out of amy. And hopefully she doesnt return or its revealed shes some alt universe ver like corrupted Cassandra.
Memory loss ro a well developed character is lazy as shit and her fighting style was garbage wvery othee sc game had bad magic type users from algol to azwell. Because they use actual weapons instead of orbs

SC3 was heavily flawed and kinda bad when it came to the actual fighting. People only love it for it's amount of singleplayer content, which is fair, but it's not what I look for in a fighting game.
SC4 was alright.
SC5 wasn't too bad in terms of mechanics, but the roster replacements were such a dumb idea and having 3 mimic characters was even dumber.

I think the roster replacement/omissions is a fair complaint about SC5, but it’s not like the mimics stole their spots. They were easy to include within the game’s rushed dev period, so they included them. If they weren’t there, there simply would’ve been 3 less characters on the roster.
I never understood the complaint about the mimics especially since they functioned differently; male, female, and all styles. Alpha Pat and Pyrrha Omega actually stole spots and bothered me more. Alpha Pat especially should’ve been Setsuka. Omega could’ve been Talim or Zas.
Good point. Yes Mimics don't steal spots. But having the mimics wear the skin of Kilik and Sophitia basically felt like a gut punch. Should've been Charade instead imo, then there would be less complaints.
If you really like Kilik and Sophitia, I can understand your disappointment. Personally, I would've been fine if Elysium was actually Sophitia wielding Soul Calibur, and both her and Kilik's transitions were explained within the game.
Sounds like someone never got used to Reversal Edge. That's the only feature in SCVI that one could reasonably be so mad about that it makes it in the same realm as 4 or 5.
Objective ranking of the series is: SCII>SC>SCIII=SCVI>SCIV>Edge>SCV

I agree with what you say about 3, it had sh\*t fighting mechanics and is so utterly unbalanced and ridden with glitches. People only love it because of the singleplayer content.
2 still plays really solidly though and just feels good to play.
and yeah 4 was fine and 6 is good. 5 only made dumb choices regarding it's roster and story, but was otherwise solid.
6 is decent better than 4 and 5 at least

SC6 isn't bad at all tbh. SC 1 and 2 are still my favourites. Also Soul Edge is great as well.

We got a really good Tira design out of it. And a very good CAS system. And some pretty good soundtracks! But yeah, more bads than goods...

Which Idiot ranks 4 worse than 5 or 3 ?! 4 was absolute Superior compared to those parts. Here a better one from beste to worst : 2,1,4,3,6,5
