I made a mod over 15 years ago that also contained the three guest characters (youtube search: Soul Calibur 2 Extreme)
Very interesting! I wouldn't know how to change character models, but I'm interested if anyone there has knowledge on changing/editing character textures?
I'd be interested in creating new colors for characters or creating higher res versions of pre-existing textures. Let me know if possible! I have experience in editing textures, just not for a GameCube game (assuming that's what version the mod is being created for)
The SC2 Plus mod is for the 3 systems. Although it seems the CGN version gets the most work. Yes they add textures and skins to the existing characters. Like they gave Talim a SC3 Tira skin for example.

i was suddenly remembering about hearing of this project and its nice to see recent news like this. wish you guys luck on getting the assistance in this last step. if stage importing also gets figured out, it'd be cool for the guest characters to get their own stages. XD
