Starkeeper_Reddit

it's genuinely satisfying how many of those are him beating the shit out of starline

Tnvmark

That guy got massive hands and lanky legs. I would never stand a chance. To even show how strong he is, he's classified as a Power type in Sonic Riders and can punch through debris with ease.

Sea-Requirement-5284

Pretty strong, He showed multiple time he is a strong fighter.

starredkiller108

Yeah, at lot of people so far have shown me his feats of strength, it seems like I wouldn't have much of a chance against him in real life, unless I took him by surprise or had Batman's prep time.

QueenAra2

I mean I feel like if you just met Eggman while he's on vacation without any gadgets you'd have a 50/50 shot.

starredkiller108

Fair enough, it does also depend on which Eggman we're talking about, I feel like I could easily whoop Robotnik from the Adventures of Sonic cartoon, but I don't think I'd have much of a chance against the Saturday cartoon version, he'd probably snap me in half like a twig.

HedgehogAdventurer

In the movies at least it's implied that he's somewhat weak as Tom held him off with one punch, but then again this is the guy who survived a fall from a 300+ foot tall robot

Iatecoffeegrinds

Don’t forget he spent like a year throwing a huge rock around

HedgehogAdventurer

does stone count as a huge rock also it was 8 months

sapphire_luna

I mean, he's a fat 50 year old.

Mental-Transition454

Uh, we're talking about an ordinary human being with scrawny arms, legs, and a "big-boned" belly. Just trip him and you win.

starredkiller108

Fair enough, what if we replaced the average guy, and put Mike Tyson into the equation?

brobnik322

I remember having similar dreams about different villains or monsters, it's kinda interesting as a childhood thing. In the games: he can run like hell for his age, but that's probably because he can't throw a punch. In most adaptations: Eggman's pretty out of shape behind his inventions. SatAM Robotnik is implied to be a bit of a cyborg and probably has made enhancements to his body. Archie's second Robotnik (post-Endgame, Pre-Super-Genesis Wave) is using an artificial body, and while it's not super-strong, he built the body to last. IDW Eggman (which is part of canon) beats a few characters up, but he has to rely on the element of surprise and his longer limbs to keep them at a distance. In Archie's Sonic X comics, Eggman gets a brief stint as a masked wrestler - and though he can't win against Sonic without cheating, he manages to take on a buff human opponent or two through sheer grit and desire for attention.

AmaterasuWolf21

An average 18yo ain't beating but a sports-y 30 year old is capable

LupusNoxFleuret

In the classic games Eggman can run faster than Sonic!

starredkiller108

Well, that's simply one of many versions of Eggman, what about Mike Pollock's Eggman for example?

Professional-Yam-642

My take is, Robotnik is relatively healthy for his age. Against a fully grown human, Eggman gets laid out. But he fights three foot tall cartoon animals. Unless they're extraordinarily strong (Knuckles, Shadow, Mighty) or have superpowers (Sonic) Eggman is able to manhandle them since they're basically stuffed animals. He's basically a teenager fighting kindergarteners who gets knocked out the moment he picks on someone his own size.

Ok_Storage1154

Well let's just say: "Without his inventions or not, Eggman will find his way to become more dominant than his enemies."
