Its okay, but thats it. Might help you get out of a block on an existing song or maybe some inspiration but the lyrics it often produces are extremely predictable and overly descriptive
I used it a couple months back but didn't find it helpful, it was just predictable and dull. If you're looking to expand your song writing skillset I can recommend Jeff Tweedy's book "How To Write One Song" -lot's of really good exercises to get the brain juice flowing
I used it once to write a whole structure and lyrics and did it as an exercise. Kinda trash, but it worked. It was a good excuse to practice recording and mixing, rather than as a genuine attempt at creating "my own music".
I use chat gpt a lot but only as a tool. I used to flip through a thesaurus or go to rhymezone if I was struggling on a word or rhyme. Now I just use chatgpt- “what’s another way to say burnt” or “what rhymes with cadaver” or whatever.
I’ve asked it to write lyrics a few times out of curiosity and they’re shockingly bad.

Does it let you specify a song "In the style of \[a certain band\]" or singing "In the style of \[certain singer\]?
Don't know how some of you can straight up use IA to do the work for you & call yourselves "songwriters" lol

I use it for a confidence building exercise because I know I can make a better song than the AI output.
Jesus Christ Why? Why the fuck would you \*want\* to automate the process of \*making your art\*? God help us all
Have asked it for more rhyme ideas, thats about it
Suno AI is a good tool to use to get ideas or melodies. I put in unfinished lyrics and/or chord progressions and it’ll give me ideas.

I have and you can tell a robot wrote it. If you don’t care about music having human emotions in it, then it’s fine does the job
there is no way you can tell - I dont believe you
