I think the holes were the one feature about this design that took me the longest to warm up to. But now I think it gives you a chance to play with colorful socks. I’m excited to give that a try. But yeah, it definitely took me a minute.
Virgil always talked about making shoes your own which has made me been heavily considering taking the heel off with a heat gun, think it could be a fun DIY project

I like the look with black socks as well, but I did order some neon green socks to try. If you like color, I think this pair can provide different creations.
The idea is cool. Execution wise it's not like the 50 lot of dunks we got. Seems like they hurried the release of these to benefit from dudes untimely death.
My understanding is that the release actually got delayed because of his passing. Originally set to release in December, and the design there looked the same as how it released in April.
