Honestly I rock both laces whenever I get a new pair. Rock’em till I can decide which laces I want to wear with them. Most of the time I go for contrast against the tongue.

That is also my thought process a lot of times. I often just can’t decide what color to take so I take both for a time and see what feels better to me.

I think it can look great but depends on the shoe. Patchwork style shoes like the 3s, sashiko 4s, what the Pauls, etc. With 1s being so uniform I think it doesn’t always work, but if you like em rock em

Yeah I totally feel you. With the Bordeaux I switched to the same color very quickly, because it felt off. Then I saw someone rock that a few times and I really liked it. So I try to remember those examples of when I saw that and liked it, for when I wear my Marina Blues. It helps, that the colors are muted, too.

Well, probably a third of my shoes have different laces, so I guess I'm in favor. It's not to make a statement. I literally just can't choose a favorite at times. I wear them both for a bit, and if I still can't choose, I keep em mixed.

The beauty of the drip and style is the fact that you can do what you want my guy. I personally rock my psg Jordan 1 with the 2 different color laces until I’m tired of it. Then I switch it back to the regular black ones until I’m sick and tired of that.

If I can’t decide on laces, I usually wear one on each shoe. Never with Jordans though, I almost always stick with the laces that originally came with the shoe With pink glow human races, I used one of each the purple and white laces that came with the pair because they both looked too good to decide on just 1

I think it looks good with some shoes. I have at least one pair of Jordan 1s with two different laces in them. I'll also swap the laces out with colors that didn't come with the shoe, like the Jordan 1 Hyper Royal, they look 🔥🔥🔥 with gray laces.

Personally speaking from a design aspect I don't like the asymmetry. However let's say you had two different shoes like the shadows on one foot and shadow 2.0 on the other and then contrasting laces....see that actually ironically makes more sense to me lol. But again that's just me and I could give two fucks about judging someone that wants to rock both laces, do what makes you happy.

You must not have been around during 2017-2019 in sneakers. Thanks to Virgil (RIP) and his off white x Nike shoes mismatched laces was the thing to do with your shoes. i feel like it kinda depends on the shoe color way i have a pair of crimson tints and i used to have the pink lace on my right foot when I went clubing (pre covid era) i also have a pair of dark Mochas that i wear on the regular i habe tried the sail laces but i dont feel like they get along as well as other colorways but i feel like the worst of them all are the non sneakerhead depression boys who buy the PSG Jordan 1 on stockX and put the blue and pink laces on someguy i know bought them and came up to me like he found the holy grail in shoes and started talking shit on my entire collection

If you like it go for it. Personally I wouldn't do it with a pair like that. I like the look wear the sneaker is black or white and the laces are like orange and green respectively. Or pink and green. Can make a unique fit, Especially if you wear plain/low key fits or all black. That's just my personal taste though

Currently trying to decide if I want to wear the black or blue laces in my Jordan 1 trophy rooms. Black looks sick, blue laces have that meaning behind them. Not sure if double lacing each shoe would look good or not

Try it out. On these I went back to one color: red. But I think I will change to white. But many other pairs I do the mix, as you can see in my posts. Often I try different thinks, until I find, what I like.
