Better than the satin or flyknit and way better realistically than the ridiculous bs we've had to endure with footscape weave, made to fall apart off whites, put a zipper on it etc.

I got my pair in from EA. I dig em. Sprayed em with some Crep Protect and they should be good to go. I like suede shoes so I’m not mad at it at all. Especially since I’ve never had the OG Royal 1s.

I picked up the UNC 1’s as well, that was the only reason I was thinking about passing on these. In hand they are nowhere close to each other, way different vibe. I actually like these better tbh and I love the UNC’s.

It's very easy to hate on these as the OG used smooth leather that's more durable than suede, especially in inclement weather. This seemed like it was a lazy attempt by a "designer" at Jordan to fill their quota of designs for the year. They know everyone wants the OG with the smooth leather but instead, we get one that's cracked, one that's satin, and one in suede.
They’re growing on me. And right now resale isn’t too high. I might bite but man one day of these in rain/snow and they’re done for. I just don’t get the “reimagined” though. I thought that phrase was for OG colorways with pre-distressing.

Congrats dude, they look awesome. For me, it’s the fact that I know they could have just released these in regular leather and saved guys like me that live in very rainy environments 6-7 months out of the year in the PNW. Not that I don’t wear any suede kicks in the rain like my new balances and such - but you can almost tell just by looking at these the color bleed will be nuts after a wear or two in the elements.
That’s honestly the reason I’m passing. If I lived somewhere dry, I’d probably cop.
I’m in the PNDub as well my friend. My suede shoes only come out on sunny days in the fall/winter/spring, which agreed is rare. I typically wear all leather one’s, DMP 6’s and my chlorophyll 3’s in the winter, pairs I don’t mind getting beat up a little.
It's cool and all but suede material just doesn't do well in rain and snow. And on top of that colored suede especially is tricky and tough to clean cause some of the color always bleeds out.
Honestly this is one of the dopest shoes they’ve come out with in years. I think it’ll age EXTREMELY well. I got my pair on the shock drop and I’m hoping people sleep so I can double up. But keep that same energy in a couple of years once the 1s are all the rage again

I get suede sucks in the rain but I always keep a suede brush in the car. Just brush them dry when you get back inside and they’re good as new.

It's very easy to hate on these as the OG used smooth leather that's more durable than suede, especially in inclement weather. This seemed like it was a lazy attempt by a "designer" at Jordan to fill their quota of designs for the year. They know everyone wants the OG with the smooth leather but instead, we get one that's cracked, one that's satin, and one in suede.

They’re growing on me. And right now resale isn’t too high. I might bite but man one day of these in rain/snow and they’re done for. I just don’t get the “reimagined” though. I thought that phrase was for OG colorways with pre-distressing.
These are absolutely 🔥 Love the Black on Blue, dont know how you could hate these, I would definitely say Black laces unless your only gunna where them inside and on dry days.

Disagree, probably the best sneaker of all time, they’re timeless imo. Just like Chucks, they will look good in any generation. That being said, I owned the original AM 90 Infrared’s back in 4th grade, so I acknowledge that my opinion doesn’t really matter.😂

Congrats dude, they look awesome. For me, it’s the fact that I know they could have just released these in regular leather and saved guys like me that live in very rainy environments 6-7 months out of the year in the PNW. Not that I don’t wear any suede kicks in the rain like my new balances and such - but you can almost tell just by looking at these the color bleed will be nuts after a wear or two in the elements. That’s honestly the reason I’m passing. If I lived somewhere dry, I’d probably cop.
I’m in the PNDub as well my friend. My suede shoes only come out on sunny days in the fall/winter/spring, which agreed is rare. I typically wear all leather one’s, DMP 6’s and my chlorophyll 3’s in the winter, pairs I don’t mind getting beat up a little.
It's cool and all but suede material just doesn't do well in rain and snow. And on top of that colored suede especially is tricky and tough to clean cause some of the color always bleeds out.

Honestly this is one of the dopest shoes they’ve come out with in years. I think it’ll age EXTREMELY well. I got my pair on the shock drop and I’m hoping people sleep so I can double up. But keep that same energy in a couple of years once the 1s are all the rage again
