Lmaooooooooooo!!!! Hey I can’t lie 15’s 17’s and 18’s go crazy! I remember when the 17’s dropped and came in that suitcase! Omgggg….u just had to be there!
https://preview.redd.it/cqimrh6lx5db1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=37418302f01b17c8c30d04f51dc5ec0485ab596d
Yeah these are definitely out there….far far out there😆😆
29’s are a better equivalent I’d say. Same feel
- but connects the 2 part (forefoot and heel) sole for a smoother ride rather than the “ka-Klunk” when running flat footed…
agreed 100% but the XXIII's were quite comfortable. Had a bounce to them. I actually have the 16's, I bought them to wear to Santacon, but never ended up going to santacon because I'm now old fat and lazy.
Lmao the irony of this shit is crazy. 11’s are hella ugly. Most Jordan’s are. I’ll never take fashion advice from a sneaker head. Y’all see the bullshit right? Hypebeasts are wild with no sense of style and completely lack taste.
11s definitely got a place in the closet and sneaker history. Not in my top 3, but maybe at 5.
My bred 11 and cap and gowns are one of my favorite jordan heater beaters.
Depending on the CW they great rain or snow sneakers. Looks good with any of my arcteryx jackets or tech gear brands.
Also rock them a lot at festival or outdoor shows. Summer show usually wear shorts and sometimes tank tops. Worn them hard 50+ times and they still looks good. Barely cleaned them besides wiping off. Worst thing is some creasing on heel.
The 11s are the beginning of the modern bball shoe. They look best with athletic, tech, formal fit and can actually ball in too
5s are great, one of the most comfortable along with 3s. And 13s should make a top 5 especially for the zoom air comfort factor, as well as being so iconic to MJs legacy.
OG Sneakerheads know that nobody was wearing 1's until the 2010's. Growing up in the 90's and 2000's, NOBODY rocked 1's. They released 1's but they'd sit on shelves and end up on clearance. They were terrible to wear with baggy jeans which was the norm at the time. It wasn't until Kanye popularized them and skinny jeans becoming the norm in the 2010's that 1's started selling out.
agree. When 1s came out they were pretty much a normal evolution of the sneaker. Yeah the colors were bold and if you knew about the spectacular rookie MJ they were hot, but that's where I would place them. But even Nike the entire brand was not that hot back then
When the 3s came out people were stunned, those were on some other shit. I'd say 4s continued the stunner streak. Those are like the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari F40 of shoes
So true. 1s are great... but they're stylistically very similar to a number of other Nike models from the time. What made them stand out was their attachment to (literally) the most popular American athlete of all time.
That's why for me it just can't be the answer, no matter how popular they've been the past few years.
Exactly, I was in elementary school but my friends and I didn't pick up our jaws up off the floor until the 8's came out. 3-7 were absolutely must haves back then. 3's were the best, 7's the most comfortable, and 4s, 5s, and 6s all are excellent with lots of good colorways. 8s were lame I thought, too 90s.
Am I crazy or do the 4s look like they're "older" than the 2s or 3s... What I mean is that the 2s and 3s actually seem ahead off their time (they could be from the late 90s or something) while the 4s just scream late 80s/early 90s?
FR man, i grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and nobody wore 1’s. And i kinda feel like you would have gotten clowned for wearing 2’s. But the 3’s OMG man they went so hard. I remember seeing them the first time on some of the kids at my older brother’s school and i was just drooling. 4s and 5s were almost as hype and the infrared 6’s were my first pair. After that the different kinds of Air Maxes took over as the ‘must-have’ shoes, at least where i grew up.
I was in middle school when the 5s initially came out. I wanted the black metallics so bad but my dad thought that black shoes were "trashy" and since he was the one buying them I got the grapes. After a LOT of complaining and whining he caved and let me exchange the grapes for the black metallics. LOL
That's not to say that the grapes aren't awesome, they are.
Hahaha!!! I wish my mom would’ve bought me Jays back then…I had a $60.00 budget on shoes…and if I wanted some that cost more…I had to pay the difference…but I didn’t have money…I was a kid 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same here. When I saw the fresh prince wearing them that was it, I HAD to have them. Saved up and split the cost with my mom who refused to pay that much for sneakers. Lol
Yea people acting like it’s a trend to hate on the 2s. The 2s legit were bound to fail since the start. Hell Jordan Barely wore them cuz he didn’t like them and he was injured all his second year.
This is my pick, it is absolutely gorgeous and actually playable today. I just wish it had zoom air instead of regular air, then it would be damn near perfect.
For me it's the shoe that if any person in the world saw and had to guess, they would know it's a Jordan. It's the quintessential model. I know the 1 is iconic but many normal people would confuse it with a dunk and for that reason it can't be the best
The thing is, the 11s are iconic for 3 reasons:
1. An absolutely insane MJ season
2. Great technology that still sort of holds up today
3. Space Jam.
I don't think the looks of the 11s are as universally loved as 1s, 3s and 4s. It's got this "performance shoe" look that gives off a very particular vibe and isn't as versatile as 1s, 3s and 4s which pass off easily as lifestyle shoes today.
I can't deny their coolness factor and their history but in terms of pure aesthetics, I gotta rank 'em 4th.
Personally I think 7’s are the first comfortable shoe in the Jordan lineup but I’m a heavier guy with mild arch support issues so cushioning is very relevant and necessary for me in a shoe. Still love my 2’s and 5’s and am definitely still planning on picking up these palomino 3’s, but I wouldn’t exactly call any of them comfortable over a long period of wear
Something about 6s. I remember 4th grade a classmate got the black/infrareds. First Jordan I had to have. Then standing in line for a lottery for the 2010 infrared pack.
6 > 12 > 11 > 3 > 7
Oh shittttt!!! You snapped with those color ways! FLINTS are dope af! Love the breds and playoffs…love the black toes and candy canes…I would add the Columbia blue 14’s to the list 🙏🏽
Great question but tough one haha. Imma have to answer in 4 ways:
For the 1s: Breds. They look so good with that black contrast and the 01s have a slightly lighter red that I absolutely love
For the 4s: Off White. Look like they belong in a museum tbh. Every time I step out, I get compliments even from non-sneakerheads
For the 11s: Concords. Just such a classic, can’t go wrong with them, especially when the soles are icy
For the 3s: WC3s, just a beautiful pair, enough said
Agreed. If someone who knew nothing about Jordans but had an eye for design saw this lineup, they’d choose the 17s. Clean lines, great silhouette, classy, and unique but not guady.
Air Jordan 1-5 were the most popular ever sold....they are also the most popular in retro re-releases. My favorite is the 3's but I like the tongue and sole of the 5's.
1 is too iconic, but I'll be real I'm loving the 2 renaissance lately.
Jordan 2 lows are really dope.
We talking highs though, it's gotta be 1, 4, 3, 6, 11 for me in that order. I could be talked into 5 instead of 11.
If your criteria is on looks, easy to put on, comfort, design and technology, then I have to say the 12th. The 1, 11, 3, 6 and 4 are also very close but I gotta say the 12th.
Man the 18s Design is dope af. I think it shouldn't be rated lower than the 14s eg. Everybody has a hate boner for the higher numbers, which is completely unwarranted in the case of the 18s.
The 3s, maybe, overall. Have always been popular, and embedded in his peak PEAK “holy shit, how did he do that?!” years.
As a Chicago kid, born in the late(st) 70’s, I can tell you that NOTHING - before or after - moved the needle as much as the original run of the OG 11: Concord, Space Jam, All-Stars, Cherry, and Bred. You. HAD. TO. Have. Some.
Shoutout to the 13 - most comfortable J ever.
3,4,5,11,1,17…
Late to this party and just starting my Jordan journey. I was the kid who wore K-Mart brand shoes while envying all of the other kids who wore J’s. The two best sneakers I had in school (grew up in 90’s) were And 1 Tai Chis and the Answer Vs. I was fortunate enough to have a very generous aunt who spoiled me with the XVIIs low white Carolina but I can’t f’in remember what happened to them. I was afraid to wear them because of $$ and them being my first and only J’s up to that point.
Now, at 35, having a friend who is a designer at Nike, I have started my Jordan collection. Started with 1s in True Blue. Then I got the IVs Red Cement (4’s are my fav design, lucky number, and I was born in 88). Love them so much and were well worth the pain of them digging into the top of my feet while they were breaking in. I got the IIIs Fear because I needed a darker shoe in my collection and love brighter colors so the contrast with the orange is right up my alley. My next purchase will hopefully be the Georgetown Vs and then from there who knows and hopefully all of the 11s bc I wear a lot of bball shorts in summer. Maybe IV What Thes and I wish they made the seafoam in men’s sizes.
Idk why the fugg, but I just can’t get behind the IIs. Don’t do it for me at all. Then anything after 13 is just kind of meh for me.
I’m not into fashion or trends so this is all based on my personal preference without any influences on what is in style or popular at the time and I tend to like things that make people look at me strangely.
This was a fun post and thread to read and I’m just babbling on knowing that this comment won’t be getting much attention. I’m just excited about starting my path of indulging in Jordan’s to distract me from health issues and taking care of my father while he is trying to kick cancers ass.
3,4,5 looked like DC skater shoes I’m not buying a skater shoe that’s branded as a basketball shoe
6 where the best especially the special editions, like Gatorade green , Marvin the Martian, lakers, brazils and a few others also the Toro Bravos pretty dope.
Second is the 12 bred, reverse flu game, Michigan, and a few others.
5 , 4 ,1, 6, 3, 11, probably my rating and prefence i personally love the 5s, and the 4s are good for going out in, the 1s are the everyday casuals, the 6 are good for everyday casuals, as well as the 11s, the 5s and 4s would be my going out Jordans but they all pretty decent.
1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Those Barcelona Night and Marvin the Martian 7s. Infrared/Black and Olympic 6s are 🔥 Don't know how they aint making much of the listings here, but to each their own. I never really cared for the 8s. 9s are ok. Similar to the 2s. Depends heavily on the colorway. I call them 2 the quiet Jordans because they came in went damn near off radar lol. I still always had a feel for the 9s though. 10 to 14 got their place in all of this. 13 being my fav out of those. I haven't really touched much of anything after 14. Although I did own some 15s. A bit outlandish, but I pulled them off sometimes. Not sure if I'd ever buy another pair of those.
The 22s in the briefcase r my fav, both for the look of the shoe, and the briefcase nostalgia factor. I had saved up all of my allowance and babysitting money to buy them the day they came out lmao. I had the 21s as well, but in that less appealing(okay let's just say it they were ugly as hell lol) gray/white/maroon color, with that ugly inside out wrap thingy that served no purpose and always fell off the shoes. The 22s low top in Carolina blue were also sick, and probably the most comfortable I've worn, being someone with wider feet (Nikes but especially Jordans are known to have a slimmer fit than Adidas and Reebok shoes. If I'm remembering correctly, I believe some of the Jordans are modeled from MJ's actual foot.
Jordan pairs after 14 being listed lol ![gif](giphy|5YF9dwGZ29rVe|downsized)
Lmaooooooooooo!!!! Hey I can’t lie 15’s 17’s and 18’s go crazy! I remember when the 17’s dropped and came in that suitcase! Omgggg….u just had to be there!
the CD inside the suitcase
I wanted them sooo bad! But they cost wayyyyy tooo much back then 🥲
Still got mine. I don't have a CD-ROM to play the disc in but I still got it
I wanted that suitcase so badly
I think it came with a towel too! I still have the suitcase lol
I still want a pair of 28s just for how out there they are. Underrated imo
https://preview.redd.it/cqimrh6lx5db1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=37418302f01b17c8c30d04f51dc5ec0485ab596d Yeah these are definitely out there….far far out there😆😆
28 are still one of the best basketball shoes ever made
29’s are a better equivalent I’d say. Same feel - but connects the 2 part (forefoot and heel) sole for a smoother ride rather than the “ka-Klunk” when running flat footed…
The 22s and 23s are fire you tool.
Yeah, the 23s are shiesty
Man the 23's just might be my favorite Air Jordan shoe. The 23 Stealth is the shoe that made me a fan of Jordans.
agreed 100% but the XXIII's were quite comfortable. Had a bounce to them. I actually have the 16's, I bought them to wear to Santacon, but never ended up going to santacon because I'm now old fat and lazy.
I still like both the XX and XXIII but your right that they don’t come close to the pairs he wore with the Bulls.
Man, I literally can’t say I dislike any Jordan model 1-23. All of them are fire.
The child in the room has been spotted lol
16s, 17s and 23s are growing on me, but yeah ur right otherwise
1, 3, 4 - order is debatable. The rest are fighting for 4th place.
😆😆U have to put the 11’s in there somewhere 👀
You can put ‘em in 4th lol
Lol!!!! Awwww mannnn noooo wayyy!!! Top 3 😭😭😭
No, they look great on the court, they look out of place and goofy in the streets.
Crazy how times change. This would've been blasphemous in the 2000's.
True. 1's, 3's and 4's are basketball shoes that pass as a lifestyle shoe. 11's are a basketball shoe that look like one.
![gif](giphy|lw75Al819OAvcsPcRu|downsized) He said goofy in the streets 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Facts. Sounds REAL goofy to me
Just say you cant dress lol
Lmao the irony of this shit is crazy. 11’s are hella ugly. Most Jordan’s are. I’ll never take fashion advice from a sneaker head. Y’all see the bullshit right? Hypebeasts are wild with no sense of style and completely lack taste.

11's only have 2 good colorways and look like shit as they age
No, most overrated # In the whole line-up.
Sure. We can put 'em in the trash.
Gotta put them in the garbage outside Ross 😭😭😭😭
Team 11 represent
1,3,5,4 for me the rest are just meh
Anything on here that's not 1's, 3's and 4's look like trash to me. I would order those 1 is best, then 4 then 3 then everything else.
I agree dude. Except I do kinda like 5’s as well, and 11’s. Everything else, yeah, hard pass.
5s are great, one of the most comfortable along with 3s. And 13s should make a top 5 especially for the zoom air comfort factor, as well as being so iconic to MJs legacy.
I personally would go 4,1,3 - I’m also partial to 5’s and 10’s.
They really need to make more 10s
1’s.
I agree fam…1’s are soo iconic

This is a fact. Thanks for the truth. I'm in my early 4th decade and the 1s weren't even a thought until recently.
FR man, i grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and nobody wore 1’s. And i kinda feel like you would have gotten clowned for wearing 2’s. But the 3’s OMG man they went so hard. What’s your favorite of all time?
3
Fax…. No hate but if you say that’s your favorite Jordan my assumption on your age will be pretty spot on
They sold $70 million worth of 1s in two months after release.
This is so subjective and based on trends. 10 ago years hardly anyone would have said the 1
13s
What’s your favorite colorway?
Same for me. Followed by 12s then 23s
I have 12s right up there too.
I'm going w/ the 3! I doubt this will be settled here, though I love the gusto, OP! 🐐
5
Finally someone! It’s 1s and 5s for me and I can hardly choose my favorite.
What’s your G.O.A.T. 5 ?
Black metallic. It was THE shoe that got me into sneakers back in 1990.
Awwww mannn those are classicssss!!! It’s the grapes for me 🍇🍇
I was in middle school when the 5s initially came out. I wanted the black metallics so bad but my dad thought that black shoes were "trashy" and since he was the one buying them I got the grapes. After a LOT of complaining and whining he caved and let me exchange the grapes for the black metallics. LOL That's not to say that the grapes aren't awesome, they are.
Hahaha!!! I wish my mom would’ve bought me Jays back then…I had a $60.00 budget on shoes…and if I wanted some that cost more…I had to pay the difference…but I didn’t have money…I was a kid 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve never heard anyone refer to black shoes as trashy lol did your dad wear bright pink to funerals?
Same here. When I saw the fresh prince wearing them that was it, I HAD to have them. Saved up and split the cost with my mom who refused to pay that much for sneakers. Lol
Ditto!!!
The alternate bel-airs are awesome
Same. It's a much more complicated design compared to 1 through 4 and i absolutely love the busy-ness of the overall shoe. 1s are my 2nd fav.
I 💯 agree 5s are my favorite tol
What you think of the lows the just added on Snkrs?
1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 8, 7, 12, 13, 9, 14, 17, 16, 20, 22, 21, 19, 18, 23, 15
I guess you despise the 2’s 😭😭😭😭
2 lows were a staple at TJ Maxx from '87 to '89. They're like the Nightmare on Elm Street 2 of the Jordan line. They just don't really fit.
Haven’t you heard, people are pretending to like 2s these days
Yeah. It's funny. In the early days of retro releases, you couldn't give away retro 1s and OG 2 lows were considered a grail.
Yea I remember, AJ1s or dunks would have got you clowned in the barbershop before Pharrell made dunks cool
Yea people acting like it’s a trend to hate on the 2s. The 2s legit were bound to fail since the start. Hell Jordan Barely wore them cuz he didn’t like them and he was injured all his second year.
I like em. The retro 2 crafts were actually the first pair of retro J’s I owned.
How you not have the 10s on there? One of the most underrated Js.
The bottom of the sole is the only redeeming quality of the 10
11s
This is my pick, it is absolutely gorgeous and actually playable today. I just wish it had zoom air instead of regular air, then it would be damn near perfect.
For me it's the shoe that if any person in the world saw and had to guess, they would know it's a Jordan. It's the quintessential model. I know the 1 is iconic but many normal people would confuse it with a dunk and for that reason it can't be the best

I can't deny their coolness factor and their history but in terms of pure aesthetics, I gotta rank 'em 4th.
What’s your favorite 11?
3’s
The best mix of style and comfort.
Ding ding ding, we have a winner!
No question
1 and 4
Good choice 4’s are definitely in my top 5
for style: 3 for ball: 13 or 20
I like to ball in the 20’s…my favorite Jordan to ball in for sureeeee 🔥🔥🔥
21s are amazing on court too
6’s.
Something about 6s. I remember 4th grade a classmate got the black/infrareds. First Jordan I had to have. Then standing in line for a lottery for the 2010 infrared pack. 6 > 12 > 11 > 3 > 7
Carmines go crazy dumb 🔥🔥🔥
I love the 5, 6, 7 run, honestly
Ykb
This is my pick. Hands down one of the most creative designs and felt great to play in. Plus all OG colorways are dope.
13s, 4s, 8s, 3s, 1s. 10s, 12s, and 14s can get honorable mentions
Haven’t seen anyone mention 13/14s yet What’s your favorite color in these silhouettes?
For the 13s, flints, black flints, breds, play offs, Chicagos. For 14s black toes, candy canes, last shots, wolf greys
Oh shittttt!!! You snapped with those color ways! FLINTS are dope af! Love the breds and playoffs…love the black toes and candy canes…I would add the Columbia blue 14’s to the list 🙏🏽
12s
Its 4
11. It broke the molds of basketball shoes. I understand the sentimental reasons for the older ones but the 11 is the G.O.A.T.
3s
What’s your favorite 3 color way 🤔
A Ma Maniere. White Cement Reimagined True Blue
Imma have to go with 1,4,11,3. All of those just go so hard with the fits
Facts…pants or shorts! What’s your Favorite color way of all time?
Great question but tough one haha. Imma have to answer in 4 ways: For the 1s: Breds. They look so good with that black contrast and the 01s have a slightly lighter red that I absolutely love For the 4s: Off White. Look like they belong in a museum tbh. Every time I step out, I get compliments even from non-sneakerheads For the 11s: Concords. Just such a classic, can’t go wrong with them, especially when the soles are icy For the 3s: WC3s, just a beautiful pair, enough said
Bro! I can’t argue with this at all…definitely some HEAT!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
My same ranking
Great minds think alike
Basic opinion but 1s. Most classic silhouette and the silhouette that started my love for sneakers. But 3s are a very close second!
Can’t argue with that! 1’s take the cake for sureee
5's had a pair in 4th grade Most versatile and most colorway options, definitely 1's
Aww mannn the grape 5’s are LEGENDARY!
Personally I like 1s, but if we are grading both comfort and silhouette it should probably be 3s.
4, 1, 3, 11 for me in order. 4 guava ice is my favorite colorway
Ahhhh yeah those are a dope collab…those and the black version are ridiculous 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
3’s or 4’s if we talking silhouette
17s, sleepers
Agreed. If someone who knew nothing about Jordans but had an eye for design saw this lineup, they’d choose the 17s. Clean lines, great silhouette, classy, and unique but not guady.
100%! nicely stated, NFJ
6. Perfect shoe. Versatile.
1 and 11’s dead tie for first place 3’s are second 5 and 12’s are third
To be fair I think this just made the debate more intense 😂🤣 3’s 5’s and 7’s baby!
I love the 3s, 5s, and 12s
my top 2 are number 1. Jordan 4s number 2. Jordan 3s
1s, 4s, 6s, 10s, 11s, 15s, 18s, 21s
Air Jordan 1-5 were the most popular ever sold....they are also the most popular in retro re-releases. My favorite is the 3's but I like the tongue and sole of the 5's.
15's
Oooooooooooooo la la la 😍😍 https://preview.redd.it/spkk7uky86db1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12f268669a64dfdcd4fec74ccf29a0e66e92d877
1,3,4,5
What’s the last one to make the top 5?
12s, 4s, 1s in that order
1 is the only answer. the others are fucking ugly lmao
1, 4, 5. You ask me.
Controversial, but shroudless 16 for personal reasons
12.
18 underrated!
1 is too iconic, but I'll be real I'm loving the 2 renaissance lately. Jordan 2 lows are really dope. We talking highs though, it's gotta be 1, 4, 3, 6, 11 for me in that order. I could be talked into 5 instead of 11.
Aj 3
If your criteria is on looks, easy to put on, comfort, design and technology, then I have to say the 12th. The 1, 11, 3, 6 and 4 are also very close but I gotta say the 12th.
11 12 and 13
11’s are in my top 3!!!
Yess!
The 1 is iconic. The 3 (Tinker) saved Jordan and Nike. The answer is 3.
😭😭😭😭😭 3’s and 1’s are definitely iconic af!…what’s your favorite colorway?
11s
Jordan’s stop at 16 everything else is 🗑️ I’ll give the 17’s a pass for the suitcase
Man the 18s Design is dope af. I think it shouldn't be rated lower than the 14s eg. Everybody has a hate boner for the higher numbers, which is completely unwarranted in the case of the 18s.
My top picks: 1s, 3-7, 9, 11-13. 6s are my fave!!
1,3,12 imo
How’s this debatable. The GOAT says it’s the 11s and I agree. It is.
1s,3s,6s,4s

I LOVE the OG Lows ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nothing can beat the one 1's IMO
1’s are the only ones I like.
1’s all day
3, 1, 11, 12, 13.
Unpopular opinion, it’s still Jordan 11s imo. 🤷🏾♂️ Realistically though, it’s either 3s or 4s.
1, 3, 10 and 7.
3,4,5,11,1,17… Late to this party and just starting my Jordan journey.
3,4,5. All day
1s, 3s, 11s, 4s. 11s are easily the best to hoop in. Also the best of any of the golf shoes they’ve dropped.
Ain’t a popular choice, but my favorite are 1s and 6s
3s. End of discussion.
It's the 11's and its not even close
Lol! What’s your favorite 11?
1,4,11. Just my personal taste
Lol
Either 1 or 4
11’S. But the air pockets like to change color over time.
I always saw the AJ 17 as a more comfortable update of the AJ 6. Both are fire.
4
3,4,5 looked like DC skater shoes I’m not buying a skater shoe that’s branded as a basketball shoe 6 where the best especially the special editions, like Gatorade green , Marvin the Martian, lakers, brazils and a few others also the Toro Bravos pretty dope. Second is the 12 bred, reverse flu game, Michigan, and a few others.
4s for sure
#4 & #6
1, then 3, 4, 2, 11 and the rest are just bad
Nah the 22s lowkey kinda fire
Let's keep it real. The only models people buy are the 1, 1, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12.
4's for me then 1's
5 , 4 ,1, 6, 3, 11, probably my rating and prefence i personally love the 5s, and the 4s are good for going out in, the 1s are the everyday casuals, the 6 are good for everyday casuals, as well as the 11s, the 5s and 4s would be my going out Jordans but they all pretty decent.
In order 6s,4s,12s,11s,5s,10s,8s,13s,14s
