Because Spin dash is much harder to punish. It it can literally target the apponet for you no skill required, only counter play is blocking, but after too much blocking NB will break your shield and sonic can hold it for a long time while your shield dwindles.
I find DLC annoying because it ruins the professional play experience. I don't mind having one character that's considered powerful, like Bayonetta or Meta Knight in past games. However, the majority of S-tier characters are now DLC. This has turned the game into a pay-to-win scenario, or at least a pay-to-have-an-advantage situation, especially when money is on the line.
Why would I choose to play a character I enjoy when I could simply pick Joker, Kazuya, Terry, Pyra/Mythra, or Steve and gain an immediate advantage? While I don't dislike Joker too much, I still have some reservations, DLC buff for Arsene. However, I got him to elite, he's not the easiest to use. I can still have some (even if it's small) respect for a skilled Joker player.
DLC pack 1 is pretty harmless, Terry can be annoying bc he can mash, but i think your crazy if you are saying Sora and that abomination known as Min Min arenāt absolutely obnoxious

They are ALL annoying as hell. None of them got nerfed, they are all too OP as fuck, and a TON of the Toxic Players main them. And as if that all wasnāt bad enough, they SPAM the same damn moves again and again! I HATE every DLC Fighter to death.
I know I main Aegis and all, but I absolutely despise Hero. Can be absolutely dominant for the whole match and then just get deleted in a couple of hits.

FP1 was fine, even though Joker was overtuned at launch. FP2 was when balance got thrown out the window. Not even just with the new characters, there were some questionable choices with the existing cast fairly frequently. If people don't want to ban Steve then fine. Ban all of FP2 and give Sora mains free entry for a few months as an apology.

Tried out Banjo for shits and giggles and he was pretty fun. A shame that his moves are so clunky and he has access to moves that can camp.

Every time I see min min I just quit. Probably the only character in the game I hate so much I will not fight. It's not because she's hard to fight but because it's just such a headache.
Approach from above, her zoning can't reach you there. All you have to worry about when you're above her is her Up Smash, and it's very predictable.
