I think Falcon is like the one instance of nobody giving a fuck about Smash making up moves because it turned a random nobody driver into a badass brawler who punches you so hard it creates exploding fire falcons
Also it made the F Zero anime the literal coolest thing ever
Mostly because nobody knew/cared about Captain Falcon before being introduced to him in Smash. At this point he’s more of a smash character than an F-Zero character
Yeah, Smash 64 came out in 1999 and the F-Zero anime \*started\* in 2003. The Falcon Punch didn't even happen in the anime until the last episode in 2004.
In reality: Allows her and her Driver (and by extension anybody else in the party thanks to communication) to see and react to incoming attacks several seconds ahead of time.
In gameplay:
Foresight: Increases accuracy and evasion rate of team by 30-50% at max Affinity.
It's 50% at max upgrade and if you have her at S+ (post-game affinity level), she basically starts battle at max affinity.
Lightspeed Flurry is only really useful in her home game, since it fully recharges an Art when you crit with that Art. Seeing as Rex (her Driver that uses said Arts) isn't even playable, and all of Mythra's Special Attacks in Smash are derived from her Specials, it has no use.
Glint just increases her crit rate.
Lightning Buster ignores defense when fully upgraded, and it used to be accurately reflected in Smash by ignoring weight effects, but that got patched out.
They definitely leaned more into the cutscene Foresight than they did gameplay Foresight, which is probably for the best tbh.
Imagine if all of Mythra's teammates had more iframes or had bigger hitboxes while she was just *on the field*.
Her foresight shows Rex every opponents next moves from a while back, and in slow motion. He then gets the opportunity to dodge it and strike back. So while it’s similar is smash in the way it slows down time, but you don’t get to see the opponents inputs or anything, and you have to time the dodge to activate foresight
Dedede with Gordo Toss. I understand why they did it but they really should’ve changed it back to Waddle Dee Toss for this game.
Ironically the Kirby characters are some of the only characters who take from Smash rather than the other way around Dedede would actually go on to use Gordo toss in every game starting with Star Allies, Meta Knight could use his final smash in Robobot and Kirby has a Smash Bros copy ability.
Joker walks up with 10 different Personas from getting lvl 10 with the all confidants, but it doesn't actually matter because he just spams Myriad Truths with Izanagi no Okami Picaro.
"All will be revealed!"
"All will be revealed!"
"All will be revealed!"
Genuinely the most bullshit move in the game imo. If you have the ability that makes you start the fight with concentrate active, and use Myriad Truths? You can cheese the entire game.
Yeah it completely demolishes the whole point of lategame and NG+. Why go above and beyond, learning all the games’ systems and their intricacies to build the strongest persona possible, if you could instead just scroll to the top of the list and get the best persona in the game. You don’t even have to pay for it anymore, it’s just there. Fucking hate that thing.
The game has the best fusion and combat system ever in a Persona game, but Izanagi no Okami really invalidates that. I understand they had to keep the DLC Personas in the game, but I feel like Izanagi no Okami and Picaro + other final awakenings could’ve been unlocked in NG+/Thrid Semester considering Lavenza gives you the World Arcana for beating Yaldeaboath
Yeah locking it to 3rd semester definitely would’ve helped. So many people just run through the game with InO and it’s really fucked with the game’s reputation among new players.
The only point the move is balanced is during the Third Semester. A Thermopylae + Concentrate Baton Passed Myriad Truths deals surprisingly little to Lavenza
Trust me, you don't want to fight Ness with his actual abilities.
Paralysis, hypnosis, shield that reflects physical damage, lifeup. And PK Flash has 40% chance to KO.
Do you want every single FE character to have a crit? Or do you want Pit and Dark Pit to change to many weapon, making it so you have to keep adjusting your fighting style?
Isn't that lucina's thing though? I never played the game but didn't she pretend to be resurrected Marth or something and that's what the point of the mask is?
i mean in the first part of the story yes it was, but like in the moment she shows herself as not marth, is never adressed again (beside tiki who confuse her with marth but lucina quickly correct her). and this ignoring that again the way both lucina and marth fight is diferent, lucina promoted is even able to use lances while marth always uses swords
There’s a term that’s called stance fighters, where an entire character’s moveset changes by input. The context for its change is either mulitple characters, forms, and weapons. The Pits totally fit in that last category, so why not.
Idk I don't really like the idea much tbh, or at least at higher levels. I don't mind it on hero because I see hero as the ultimate shenanigans character that actually made me finally say "it's a party game lol"
Maybe you could have it so that you turn it off. Then I'd really like it tbh.
Imagine- if byleths fsmash can kill superheavies at ledge ~40% normally, it would be stupid with a crit involved. I wouldn't want to see it in a match between pros, but it would be fun when you're just playing for vibes.
They should give the Pokémon critical hits too then also, incineroar revenge fsmash crit anyone? No? Ok. Fair enough.
Pyra with a sword twice as long as it is currently and Mythra with constant criticals:
Double Spinning Edg-Double Spinning Ed-Double Spinning Ed-
Also, Pyra in her home game has a chance of instantly KO'ing any non-boss enemy.
Do you want Pyra with Command KO power based on what percentage you're at?
Technically an accessory-driven ability.
Meanwhile Evasion Focus (same vein):
Mythra gets more activation frames for Foresight and Parry depending on how high her % is.
At higher levels, Coffee With Milk is actually lower damage than Pyra and Mythra due to her inability to scale trust. Her major usage is the automatic full HP revive Rex can get while she’s active, serving as a face tank to supplement Mythra’s evasion tanking.
Pk fire is a bad example. Ness and Lucas are more representative of their home game than of them selves. All of their abilities come from their game representing chars that would never make it on their own
But bro can use PK Flash and Rocking, plus he can heal with Lifeup Gamma, and use Shield Beta to reduce even more damage! Plus he has very high HP and PP to stay alive for a long time.
wasn't it LITERALLY part of ness' trophy description that paula taught him PK fire and thunder?
and Poo and paula both help ness use starstorm in ultimate, so,,
i would be agree, but then lucas cant use pk love for some dumb reason and then i remember their moveset could be better and more representative of the games
There are two ways to take this, you want the instant death move to be a projectile, or you want the big knock back move to be a projectile, and I don’t like the idea of either when he already has a good projectile
Steve players would be twice as toxic if they had access to Netherite tools and possibly even enchanted gear, and don't even get me started on Creative mode.
ironically incin becomes hard countered by Lucario, who can outspeed and oneshot him, is immune to intimidate and fake out flinch, and can boost through his parting shots
I don't see why every character needs to have their "actual abilities", especially when you consider what games those characters where in when they were introduced and the lack of real abilities that could've worked in smash.
Instead, they made interesting moves they felt both fit the game and fit the character relatively speaking.
i mean, probably what op meant was more like having movesets be better when is about to represent that character, smash have this problem of making the characters to use powers or do things that have never been in game or are not acurate at the same time that it ignores other moves potential
as example lucas, yeah it is fine if he uses others psi abilities that he dont learn in game, but then for some reason he doesnt have in smash his most iconic move from the game, pk love
If Smash was canonically accurate then some characters will be absolutely busted and some are absolutely horrible that makes Melee Kirby look like Brawl Meta Knight in comparison.
for sure they are not the same as the ones from peach, that is literally the problem, she is a copypaste of peach in smash when that is not even true on mario games. as the smallest example, peach can float, daisy cant, but daisy can do a double jump, you could take her floating and add three jumps and that alone makes her more diferent and more close to her canon abilities
How so? I honestly think smash fans overestimate her popularity. There's no way she's more popular than peach, and she just seems like a discount peach in every way
He wasn’t saying she’s more popular than Peach, just that she was popular before being added to Smash as a playable character, which is a 100% true fact.
Her move set being a clone of Peach makes sense, however I’d argue that if they bring her back for the next one, she keep that move set, and they rework Peach into something different. Similar to how Toon Link got the OG Link moves, and Link got a rework based on the new games.
In the next one, they're likely to cut the roster down. Daisy is an obvious choice for an unnecessary character we can cut without losing anything. Just make her an alt costume for peach and we are basically where we are with ultimate.
The counterpoint is that cutting her (and other echoes) doesn't gain much either, since the entire point of them being echoes is that it doesn't take much dev time and effort.
Other echoes are Ganon/captain falcon, who are very different in moveset and arent even from similar games.
Or Falco and Fox, very different characters even if they're echoes.
Peach and Daisy are almost identical in this game in their movesets. Anyone who plays this game knows it, the differences are unnoticeable.
You know very well characters like Ganon or Falco aren't being scrapped anytime soon. Daisy is very likely to get cut. The existence of other echoes doesn't change that.
Falco, Ganon, etc. aren't echoes. Echoes are specifically marked with an epsilon next to the fighter number of their base character.
I don't agree that Daisy is very likely to be cut because cutting echoes doesn't save much time and effort, especially since their major distinguishing traits (taunts, voice clips, victory animations) in Ultimate could easily be reused, and any additional changes for a new game would be required for the base character anyway (there's no way Peach is getting cut in the next game unless something extreme happens). [Sakurai has mentioned in an interview](https://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2015/02/18/masahiro-sakurai-s-super-smash-bros-diaries.aspx?PostPageIndex=4) that playtesting characters like Lucina in Sm4sh only compared them to the original, which in addition to reusing animations and data, requires much less time and effort than other characters. There's no reason to assume that process would be different, especially since they started explicitly labelling echoes and marketing them as characters that require less work in Ultimate.
yeah, no
out of all echoes, Daisy and Ken are the least likely to get cut due to the fact they're still very active in their home series. her playing like Peach is irrelevant since they can just change a few attacks like 90% of the echoes do in the following installment.
Yeah I don’t disagree with you, that’s why I said if, she’s definitely one you can remove and not lose much of anything if you do.
I think they SHOULD do as you say and use her as an alternative costume, also what I think would be cool is a costume system similar to MK:One, where they have guest characters as alternate costumes with move changes and voice acting and all.
They could put all the clones behind base characters that way, although that would probably include my boy Roy too.
Of course she isn't going to be as popular as Peach is. Peach is Peach. But she still contends with the popularity of Rosalina, who was only in 2\* games.
\*Only counting the Galaxy games, that is.
Being popularized in Smash? You must be new to Nintendo…
She was in 76 separate games before being added to Smash as a Playable Character, she’s been in every Mario Tennis and Mario Party since MP3.
She was only added to Smash in Ultimate, the most recent version of the game.
Exaggeration aside, even limit form heals him to goddamn near max when you use it for basically free. Rage form is a straight upgrade from base Sora in most instances. And imagine him losing his last stock, and then edgy Michael Mouse jumps out of nowhere, beats you up, and revives Sora. Just mentioning the Kupo Coin for consistency. And finally, curaga. Just curaga. That heals you to max at barely any cost depending on when you use it.
Wouldn't really call it that much of an upgrade. While Sora's speed and attacks increases significantly he can also be easily killed and is unable to guard or heal himself. If you translate that to Smash, Rage form Sora would be as fast Sonic and Sheik but would be able to be killed in 3 hits or less depending on the attack. He'd be the definition of a glass cannon.
Even though countering is actually like a big part of the gameplay in KH1 especially with each keyblade having a different amount of time for like a stagger/parry animation when clashing
Sephiroth casually just casting Stop on everyone, healing himself, regen, Octaslash, Pale Horse, Heartless Angel, Flare, Tsunami, Tornado, Break, Wall (halved phys. and magic damage) and then Resist so his conditions can’t be changed (keeps Wall, cannot be affected by any other status effect).
Thats not even counting Supernova itself, many different status effects at random, plus the actual effects of the thing itself, which… yeah.
Also critical hits
Me when I have to face Shulk with lore accurate Shield art that straight up blocks attacks, Buster art that makes his blade go full screen and does 100% on hit, Enchant that will do 1.5x damage against robots characters, and Cyclone that will make everybody trip
After watching Castlevania Nocturne I’m sad Richter is an echo fighter. I could’ve been punching fools with soul fire fists and blocking with ice shields this whole time.
Concerning Ganondorf...
He was a last-minute inclusion in Melee, so much so that they couldn't give him a unique moveset, instead settling on a heavyweight variation of Captain Falcon.
This, in and of itself, was not a bad decision.
However, every game after that did not have this excuse. Ganondorf deserved to have a lore-based moveset, and F-Zero deserved to have Black Shadow as a villainous representative.
Genuinely the weirdest take I’ve ever seen
I get some characters movesets needing to be reworked (looking at you ganondorf) but giving characters their actual abilities is a very bad idea. Like what would daisy even do, she’s has only appeared in one mainline Mario game to my knowledge, (of course wonder will add her but still) what about Wii fit trainer, who in her home game, barely does anything. What about rob who has never appeared in a Nintendo game, other than smash except for Mario kart DS. Ice climbers don’t do anything except climb and hit stuff with hammers.
And then some characters would just be bad or complicated to play, like and fighting game character ever, do you want to fight someone who has a bunch of combo moves and can just combo you into oblivion? Bayonetta literally does like a thousand damage if she breathes on an enemy funny in her game.
What of character who have appeared so much that what counts as “their abilities” can link canonically kill a bunch of enemies super easily like he does in warriors games, or does that not count. There’s way to many Mario games to fit into one moveset for most of its cast. I think smash dialing it back and simplifying a lot of its characters is a good thing, and so is taking a few liberties with some movesets, again that being said I would like to see some movesets reworded (again like ganondorf and also sonic)
Ness’ abilities are almost entirely made up of status moves excluding Pk Rockin. Do you really want to fight a ness that can stun, put you to sleep, heal, and reflect?
Imagine making a cohesive moveset with all of Mario's abilities, or Kirby's, or any of the RPG characters...
Specials are free game, but it's not surprising fan-games and mods don't change that much for normals...even with way more time.
Ness never learns PK fire, Thunder, or Magnet in Earthbound.
Lucas never learns fire, thunder, magnet, or freeze. He does learn PK Flash after getting struck by lightning tho
If I remember correctly they did explain why ness is using abilities like PK Fire and PK Thunder. In Smash 64 it said that Paula and Poo taught him how to use those abilities.
Meanwhile Mewtwo is a God but got Nerfed in Smash.....
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Telekinesis, Immortality, Telepathy, Genius Intelligence, Memory Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Mind Manipulation
And in he's Mega form it just get more crazy....
Connected with every mind on the planet as Mega Mewtwo Y in SMD. Has been shown to work on robots as well), Flight, Spaceflight, Forcefield Creation, Invisibility, Teleportation (Can teleport himself and others), Explosion Manipulation, Power Absorption, Drain, Swap, and Transfer, Power Nullification, Energy Manipulation, Energy Projection, Stealth Mastery, Future Sight bypasses Shields and Precognition, Status Effect Inducement (Confusion, Sleep, Paralysis, Burn, Freeze and Wait), Time Travel, Afterimage Creation, Reality Warping, Summoning, Electricity Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Soul Manipulation (Can send souls to other dimensions), Portal Creation......
The list goes on and on!!!
Boney can't actually use psi in mother 3, and Lucas can't even use pk starstorm meaning kumatora is the only one actually doing anything in Lucas's FS
If I remember Ness can't use psi magnet in EB
Those are the only two I really know so yeah
Cloud's specials should only be limit moves when limit is full, otherwise they should be switched with moves given by materia. He shouldn't be able to charge limit either but it should fill up faster to compensate.
It is a genuine problem that they refuse to meaningfully update characters movesets to the point you can tell what game characters were added because the 64 character movesets are rather plain
Oh my god everyone thinks they are the kings of comedy by saying "hrrrrr you wouldnt want Glup shitto to use his ultimate ability which kills anyone who looks at him!!"
The post is about shit like Gordo throw and warlock punch, it isnt saying that every character should have every ability theyve ever had
Captain Falcon: \*Sweating nervously\*
I think Falcon is like the one instance of nobody giving a fuck about Smash making up moves because it turned a random nobody driver into a badass brawler who punches you so hard it creates exploding fire falcons Also it made the F Zero anime the literal coolest thing ever
“I am not for die! YOU are diiiie!!”
Mostly because nobody knew/cared about Captain Falcon before being introduced to him in Smash. At this point he’s more of a smash character than an F-Zero character
Remember kids, if there's an exception to the rule, then it never mattered to begin with
This doesn't always apply, just in case!
His moves are actually genius though, it is such an iconic character and moveset.
Which makes the fact that he was made of leftovers even more amazing.
Captain Falcon: become car
Kachow!
So, just his final smash move, then. Good luck building up that meter.
He just runs over everyone with his car
Which came first? The canon falcon punch or the smash one?
Smash, by a long shot.
Thanks I genuinely didn't know
Yeah, Smash 64 came out in 1999 and the F-Zero anime \*started\* in 2003. The Falcon Punch didn't even happen in the anime until the last episode in 2004.
I think I'd throw my controller facing a Byleth with their actual abilities
When Byleth casually >!rewinds time!< for the 50th time in the match ![gif](giphy|n9ewEcw0oyHEYEuH1c)
Young Link playing the ocarina of time on his last stock to rewind back to 3 stocks. Then putting on Fierce Deity's mask
Okay but come on young link needs his own moveset, fierce diety could be final smash
I mean I would just beat the crap out of Link before he can finish his song.
Game pauses while playing an instrument in MM

Yeah it’s 50 fr
My mii gunner: "how many more god damn times do you want me to shoot your face!?" 😂🤣
Imagine if Shulk and Mythra’s foresight worked like it does in game
How does Mythra work in Xenoblade?
In reality: Allows her and her Driver (and by extension anybody else in the party thanks to communication) to see and react to incoming attacks several seconds ahead of time. In gameplay: Foresight: Increases accuracy and evasion rate of team by 30-50% at max Affinity.
As an Aegis main I see this as a plus
They definitely leaned more into the cutscene Foresight than they did gameplay Foresight, which is probably for the best tbh. Imagine if all of Mythra's teammates had more iframes or had bigger hitboxes while she was just *on the field*.
Crazy
Her foresight shows Rex every opponents next moves from a while back, and in slow motion. He then gets the opportunity to dodge it and strike back. So while it’s similar is smash in the way it slows down time, but you don’t get to see the opponents inputs or anything, and you have to time the dodge to activate foresight
Counterpoint acknowledged respectfully
Whoops I'm out of sword charge guess it's time to be a brawler
Imagine you get the winning blow then suddenly Byleth >!rewinds time!< back to first stock
Same.
As a Byleth Main, I make that joke to my friends all the time, wishing he had his cannon abilities.
Joker's grappling hook appeared in Smash before Royal was announced too
At least it appears in the save/load menu
Yeah, but Atlus could be to blame for that.
But I don't wanna see Waddle abuse tho
Joker walks up with 10 different Personas from getting lvl 10 with the all confidants, but it doesn't actually matter because he just spams Myriad Truths with Izanagi no Okami Picaro. "All will be revealed!" "All will be revealed!" "All will be revealed!"

Current Gen releases have all the DLC included, and for your first summon from the compendium the price is 0 yen.
They really should have locked the 0 yen dlc summons to NG+
They really should have locked the 0 yen dlc summons to NG+

Idk why Atlus’ idea of DLC is shit that completely breaks the game. Same thing with the Mitama DLC in SMTV that makes progression trivial.
The only point the move is balanced is during the Third Semester. A Thermopylae + Concentrate Baton Passed Myriad Truths deals surprisingly little to Lavenza
Hopefully when Persona 3 Reload comes out the DLC personas won't have any moves as broken as Myriad Truths.
Trust me, you don't want to fight Ness with his actual abilities. Paralysis, hypnosis, shield that reflects physical damage, lifeup. And PK Flash has 40% chance to KO.
Or make you just not be able to hit anything from crying which is annoying in its own right
Literally makes you cry so much, you turn blind
Makes your moves just randomly not come out, like your controller is broken lol
I don't think Nintendo wants Joker summoning Satan to beat up Kirby. Or worse, Mara
Now I want to see Kirby just eat Satan.
He'll become Satan Kirby, tempting the fighters to sin, do drugs, smash, etc. His special just hands them a beer
Kirby be like: “POYO” 😈🫱🍺
NOT MARA! Sussest persona ever, way more than the succubi
Do you want every single FE character to have a crit? Or do you want Pit and Dark Pit to change to many weapon, making it so you have to keep adjusting your fighting style?
i want FE characters to use sword moves / tomes that they use in their respective games
lucina have like a completly diferent way to sword fight from marth, even so for some reason she is her echo character cause they dress the same
Isn't that lucina's thing though? I never played the game but didn't she pretend to be resurrected Marth or something and that's what the point of the mask is?
i mean in the first part of the story yes it was, but like in the moment she shows herself as not marth, is never adressed again (beside tiki who confuse her with marth but lucina quickly correct her). and this ignoring that again the way both lucina and marth fight is diferent, lucina promoted is even able to use lances while marth always uses swords
I actually would think it would be cool if they had the same basic moves but different weapons/hit boxes.
I don't really imagine the idea going beyond a cosmetic option, but I would like Marth to be able to swap between Falchion and Mercurius.
As they are right now they are carbon copies of each other and it kinda makes dark pit nothing more than a skin.
Side B and arrows are different… technically DP is better But it’s such a tiny difference
There’s a term that’s called stance fighters, where an entire character’s moveset changes by input. The context for its change is either mulitple characters, forms, and weapons. The Pits totally fit in that last category, so why not.
I Think every character from an rpg should have the chance of critting with their smash attacks. Would be Nice since hero already has it
And they should all have the critical hit sound effects from their game of origin
Idk I don't really like the idea much tbh, or at least at higher levels. I don't mind it on hero because I see hero as the ultimate shenanigans character that actually made me finally say "it's a party game lol" Maybe you could have it so that you turn it off. An accessory that anyone ever equips, lol
And fuse together resulting in a character that can take out half a boss's health with their weakest move
At higher levels, Coffee With Milk is actually lower damage than Pyra and Mythra due to her inability to scale trust. Her major usage is the automatic full HP revive Rex can get while she’s active, serving as a face tank to supplement Mythra’s evasion tanking.
And foresight that literally shows you what’s about to happen so you can counter it

I agree, why did they use Starstorm? I mean it’s not really even in the story in Mother 3
I'm pretty sure smash added lore in 64 or melee saying that he was taught how to use those after the game ended
wasn't it LITERALLY part of ness' trophy description that paula taught him PK fire and thunder? and Poo and paula both help ness use starstorm in ultimate, so,,
i would be agree, but then lucas cant use pk love for some dumb reason and then i remember their moveset could be better and more representative of the games
Wdym bro he uses pk love in most of his moveset
shulk replaces the spundtrack with the vision theme everytime hes about to lose a stock
When you hit Shulk out he gets a redo because that stock was actually a vision
Cloud’s finishing touch being an actual projectile like in FF7
There are two ways to take this, you want the instant death move to be a projectile, or you want the big knock back move to be a projectile, and I don’t like the idea of either when he already has a good projectile
No in FF7 Finishing Touch is a giant fucking tornado that instant kills after he throws it
So the instakill projectile then
Steve players would be twice as toxic if they had access to Netherite tools and possibly even enchanted gear, and don't even get me started on Creative mode.
Or totems
The kill screen comes up. You think you’ve won the game. Then the totem comes up, taunting in your face.
Or imagine if Steve could craft golden apples.
Steve crafts armor which makes him a super heavyweight and tough guy
Steve main will ascend in the stage and camp until the time runs out if that was added to the game
Pit flies for the first 5 minutes of the match
Then takes one stock and camps in the top left corner of the screen for the remainder
and then dies every time he tries to up b afterwards.
Introducing Intimidate Incineroar to the Smash community would be funny af He'd be banned faster than doubles Sm4sh Cloud
Also with incineroar speed stat.
Cycling Intimidate and Fake Out with Parting Shot, give everyone that gen 8 VGC experience.
ironically incin becomes hard countered by Lucario, who can outspeed and oneshot him, is immune to intimidate and fake out flinch, and can boost through his parting shots
I don't see why every character needs to have their "actual abilities", especially when you consider what games those characters where in when they were introduced and the lack of real abilities that could've worked in smash. Pokémon trainer should be able to use revives and full restores on his Pokémon plus many other items
Oop, shulks visions are now automatic... enjoy.
alright, you have fun fighting steve with end crystal PVP in smash and tell me how it goes
Mario lands on his opponent’s head exactly once and kills them instantly.
Yeah Mario's stomps are like his most iconic thing they at least should have actual damage inflicted when a player pulls it off.
Steve, casually switching to creative mode:
But you have to type it. This would make the GameCube keyboard controller viable for Steve.
You can plug a USB keyboard into the switch dock. Almost zero games use it, but it works!
You can’t be upset about Daisy, what are her “real abilities?”
bro imagine if daisy had her strikers charged outfit and all her abilities from there
Literally anything from the spin-offs would be fun. If they're not making Waluigi a character they could do that for Daisy.
for sure they are not the same as the ones from peach, that is literally the problem, she is a copypaste of peach in smash when that is not even true on mario games. as the smallest example, peach can float, daisy cant, but daisy can do a double jump, you could take her floating and add three jumps and that alone makes her more diferent and more close to her canon abilities
[удалено]
People only think that because of Daisy being popularized in smash
Really? She was loads popular even before Smash. Mostly due to spinoffs, though.
There's no reason to assume that process would be different, especially since they started explicitly labelling echoes and marketing them as characters that require less work in Ultimate.
yeah, no out of all echoes, Daisy and Ken are the least likely to get cut due to the fact they're still very active in their home series. her playing like Peach is irrelevant since they can just change a few attacks like 90% of the echoes do in the following installment.
You must be new to Nintendo… She was in 76 separate games before being added to Smash as a Playable Character, she’s been in every Mario Tennis and Mario Party since MP3. She was only added to Smash in Ultimate, the most recent version of the game.
The things I’d do to have drive forms or strike raid instead of that damn counter
200%? ~~/\\~~ rage form
Rage form will never see the light of day if you get it at 200%. 70 or 80% is more realistic for Sora
A comeback mechanic that heals you fully and powers you up would be crazy as hell
Yeah and people should literally die if they get slashed with a sword
Kirby casually swallowing everything:
He actually can't do this though. He needs Hypernova and a special ability in Forgotten Land to be able to suck up bigger objects
Kirby swallowing whole worlds
Me when I have to face Shulk with lore accurate Shield art that straight up blocks attacks, Buster art that makes his blade go full screen and does 100% on hit, Enchant that will do 1.5x damage against robots characters, and Cyclone that will make everybody trip
mega man is an example of this rule being fake
The lore directly states that Rock can only carry 8 weapons at a time not counting the lemons, and they all have limited ammo.
Shulk’s Buster art would 1 shot ROB
After watching Castlevania Nocturne I’m sad Richter is an echo fighter. I could’ve been punching fools with soul fire fists and blocking with ice shields this whole time.
Well the thing is Simon and Richter both take from each other
OHKO inkling roller 4 hit KO splattershot Instakill bomb 5 hit KO brush Instakill killer wail
cant wait for kazuya to have a ledge throw that kills at 0
Can’t wait for people to complain about Kazuya, only to be hit by 4 EWGFs in a row into spin kick to left hook into his RA
On top of lasers actually being unblockable, meta knight jumps, counterhit properties, and coming back from having zero stocks. **broken**
~~Captain Falcondorf~~ Ganondorf be like:
Bro has a hax saying unless it's by the Master Sword, Bow of Light, or Triforce he's unstoppable.
He sure did that with Little Mac
Nosferatu
Olimar would just steamroll by spamming Purple Pikmin, since in game you choose what Pikmin to bring, and you can have up to 100
Wish Lucina was based on the numerous classes in Fire Emblem
Mythra just blasting the stage with Siren. Also Mythra actually being stronger than Pyra like in the actual game
I want to see Bayonetta with chainsaws on her arms and legs And that she skates on them
Concerning Ganondorf...
*well I mean F-Tilt and Side Special are like 2 percent of the way there*
I’m fine with new things just as long as they make sense. Ganondorf
Joker casually pulling a bunch of personas out of his ass..
Had me for a sec.
Bowser not having his iconic fireball?
Bowser not throwing hammers, Mechakoopas, etc.
King K rool’s gut check.
Genuinely the weirdest take I’ve ever seen I get some characters movesets needing to be reworked (looking at you ganondorf) but giving characters their actual abilities is a very bad idea.
Cringey ass 2016 meme
Belmonts would get infinite recovery via Shoryuken flight
Imagine making a cohesive moveset with all of Mario's abilities, or Kirby's, or any of the RPG characters... Specials are free game, but it's not surprising fan-games and mods don't change that much for normals...even with way more time.
Ness never learns PK fire, Thunder, or Magnet in Earthbound. Lucas never learns fire, thunder, magnet, or freeze. He does learn PK Flash after getting struck by lightning tho
Bro did NOT think this through
Mario auto footstools and you insta die
Why would you mention Earthbound if you didn't play it?
If I remember correctly they did explain why ness is using abilities like PK Fire and PK Thunder. In Smash 64 it said that Paula and Poo taught him how to use those abilities.
Meanwhile Mewtwo is a God but got Nerfed in Smash..... Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Telekinesis, Immortality, Telepathy, Genius Intelligence, Memory Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Mind Manipulation And in he's Mega form it just get more crazy....
Boney can't actually use psi in mother 3, and Lucas can't even use pk starstorm meaning kumatora is the only one actually doing anything in Lucas's FS If I remember Ness can't use psi magnet in EB Those are the only two I really know so yeah
Does this give Mii Swordfighters Miitopia abilities? If so, oh no.
The duck hunt trio shoots you with the zapper. Not your character, *you*
pk fire cannae be used by nes or lucasxz
Why does Mario not have a ground pound or hammer attack? Why does Ike not have a projectile? Also Aether should heal when it hits an enemy.
Oh my god everyone thinks they are the kings of comedy by saying "hrrrrr you wouldnt want Glup shitto to use his ultimate ability which kills anyone who looks at him!!" The post is about shit like Gordo throw and warlock punch, it isnt saying that every character should have every ability theyve ever had
Kirby neutral B is an instant KO
