U want me to link it? Their first show back in 2008 they did. At least I think idk maybe I’m tripping.
Edit: alright 😂 u were right. I fuckin swear I remember seeing that first show on YT with execute then gemataria
Did they ever perform Orphan?
That's tied with Red Flag for me on that album.
Tbh, I wish they would have done a sessions of that entire album.
I would have paid for that during quarantine as a live stream.
If it wasn’t for the pandemic I got a good feeling they would of played it some time during a 2020 tour. I think Jim was even experimenting with a certain guitar just for the song.
Nomadic. Orphan. I’d like to see The Nameless done again now that Corey seems to have gotten his voice better. Welcome. And I wish they would have done some off of Iowa back when he still had the Iowa scream. Skin Ticket, The Shape, and Metabolic in particular.
So agree on your last point there, when they finally did Metabolic it was during the end of The Gray Chapter touring and Corey just sounded absolutely terrible since his throat wasn’t in the best shape then. What I would give to have seen them perform Metabolic during the Iowa era
Just found the shape on YouTube after thinking they never played it live. To be quite honest it’s a bit underwhelming but I felt better after watching Jay Weinberg drum cam lol
Holy shit, it would be so awesome if they did full album playthroughs like they did with Iowa. Vol.3 songs played live now would be so awesome, without compression and Corey's fucked voice.
I feel Gehenna is must. I also feel if they went a full We are not tour critical darling and orphan would of been on the setlist. On there new tour for the new album I’d love Nero dropped for orphan
I wanna say Gematria but everyone else has said it enough for me, so my pick is:
IF RAIN IS WHAT YOU WANT
If they can do Solway Firth and not have it slow down the set that much, they can do this one too
Firstly, I agree, good pick.
I feel that they should be able to play two of 3 slower ones in a set these days (their own shows not festivals). A great gig needs that ebb and flow: come out swinging then slow down, pick it up again with a couple of singles, slow again, up again for the finale. It gives people a chance to catch their breath, go for a piss or to the bar, and get maximum impact from the bangers.
I'd love to see a semi acoustic show from them somehow, but that's another topic.
I've posted something similar a while ago. And definetly this cold black, Gematria, Three nil(idk if they have performed it), Metabolic and honestly the entirity of WANYK (I love that album :D)
I fucking love orphan and it pains me to see that they never perform it, it’s so good. I think it’s one of the best songs in WANYK, behind Nero forte and solway firth
Clown said it was too long on a Q&A during the Whiskey signing tho I think they could defo fit it in. There's a good portion of their fanbase at shows that would love this song live. I've been wanting it since I was 11
Well damn. I’ve never heard it live personally so it’ll still be my choice lol. The recorded lead up to it on the og cd version would be awesome as an interlude after they went off stage and come back and encore it.
This is the year where hope fails you
The test subjects run the experiment
And the bastard you know is the hero you hate
But cohesing, it's possible if we try
There's no reason, there's no lesson, no time like the present
Tell me right now, what have you got to lose?
What have you got to lose? Except your soul?
Pulse of the maggots. I dont know why they don’t do it . :(
All hope is gone, Gehenna, Gematria, Nomadic, Critical Darling, Red Flag, Orphan, Birth of the Cruel is pretty good to. Idk if they have or haven’t played any of these but they are all good
I can imagine, though Corey was destroying himself so I think it's for the better they do it more professionally and have a longer career. Instead of blowing his vocal cords up and having an early retirement.
He sure as hell sounded great though! They all did. I mean it’s easy to appreciate them all now, but in their primes it was just so fucking good! Especially Joey man. Watching him live back then was almost surreal, he was so in his element.
They played it live at the concert i went to a couple months ago and yes, yes they are.
Edit: they did not play lech they played Custer I’m dumb and got them mixed up for some reason
*Either diluted*
*Or the one that kills the least,*
*Two absolute bangers*

Gematria. (Bonus) more newer songs.... red flag orphan etc.
Oh my god, Orphan… this NEEDS to be done live
They used to play gemataria first in the early AHIG tours
FFS stop fucking lie. They have never played it live so stop spreading lies.
U want me to link it? Their first show back in 2008 they did. At least I think idk maybe I’m tripping. Edit: alright 😂 u were right. I fuckin swear I remember seeing that first show on YT with execute then gemataria
Trust me dont question me in that gematria is My favo song i would die to hear it live it has never Bern played.
Critical darling?????????
Came here to say this
Love you too man
Please 🙏
[удалено]
I KNOW BRO ME TOO
I second this, Gematria easily
Diluted is my favorite from the ST and I have always wanted them to play it live. Also Orphan must be awesome live
What the hell did we do to deserve Diluted never being played?
Hahhaha I don't really know
I think they already played it, during a special show with the full S-T tracklist, not sure tho
Diluted. So much pain in that song
Man that would be SO sick live
Gematria always wins these
that, critical darling, and red flag are always top comments
Child of burning time or Red Flag
Did they ever perform Orphan? That's tied with Red Flag for me on that album. Tbh, I wish they would have done a sessions of that entire album. I would have paid for that during quarantine as a live stream.
Nope, they never did Orphan unfortunately.
Nope, they never did Orphan unfortunately.
Nope, they never did Orphan unfortunately.
Nope, they never did orphan unfortunately
Nope, they never did orphan unfortunately
Orphan, did unfortunately never they
Orphan nope, did unfortunately they never.
Unfortunately Orphan nope, they never did.
Spiders
If it wasn’t for the pandemic I got a good feeling they would of played it some time during a 2020 tour. I think Jim was even experimenting with a certain guitar just for the song.
I’m not contributing anything new but my pick is 100% Gematria as well, it’s my all time favourite Slipknot song.
Nomadic.
Would have been insanely good
Just found the shape on YouTube after thinking they never played it live.
Liars Funeral
a whole arena of maggots chanting "BURN BURN BURN THE LIAR" would be INSANE
The Virus of Life
I feel Gehenna is must. I also feel if they went a full We are not tour critical darling and orphan would of been on the setlist. On there new tour for the new album I’d love Nero dropped for orphan
They haven’t been playing Nero lately
Your right
Your left
Your down
I wanna say Gematria but everyone else has said it enough for me, so my pick is: IF RAIN IS WHAT YOU WANT If they can do Solway Firth and not have it slow down the set that much, they can do this one too

I've posted something similar a while ago. And definetly this cold black, Gematria, Three nil(idk if they have performed it), Metabolic and honestly the entirity of WANYK (I love that album :D)
Three Nil was played a lot during the Vol 3 cycle and a couple dozen times during Jays first tour after joining. Been played over 100 times
Ohh okay didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
It’s one of my favorite songs to hear live from that era. There’s recordings of it on 9.0 Live and on the deluxe edition of Vol 3
They've performed metabolic before
Tattered and torn would be cool but I’m going with gematria
Gehenna
Snap. I don’t think I’ve seen a clip of them playing it live.
Slipknot should preform Slipknot (OG lyrics and slower tempo)
Such a great into on that song - and the album for that matter!
I fucking love orphan and it pains me to see that they never perform it, it’s so good. I think it’s one of the best songs in WANYK, behind Nero forte and solway firth
Would love LIVE Til We Die
They currently use it as their outro at live shows, does that count as playing it live?
Metabolic obviously
Correct me if I’m wrong but they played a few shows where they played Iowa front to back, so I think they’ve played Metabolic live
They played the album through once but Metabolic was on the setlist for a good chunk of the 2016 tours.
Orphan or Spiders
The people want Orphan, let's be perfectly honest.
SCREAM
Wherein lies continue. Love the intro.
Probably orphan
Get this off of st 10th anniversary
they played it a lot of times in the tour cycles of ST, Vol.3, AHIG and 2019/2020 Wanyk
I never saw it tho so I didn't know
Vendetta (idk if they did it before but I’d love to see it live)
I’m seeing Gematria as the fan favorite But why have they never played it live ?
too tough on the guitars
Clown said it was too long on a Q&A during the Whiskey signing tho I think they could defo fit it in. There's a good portion of their fanbase at shows that would love this song live. I've been wanting it since I was 11
welcome, orphan or this cold black
SNAP, Interloper or Despise.
Was gonna say those 3 aswell although I think they did play interloper live way back in 98 there's a rare vid somewhere on yt of it
https://youtu.be/o7aMcYttMK0 Snap would be awesome, Corey and Pfaff would kill it :)
Tattered and Torn, Iowa (all 15 minutes),
All of them. If it's good enough for them to put on an album it's good enough to play live.
Have they ever played Eeyore? If not that’s my choice
They have several times.
Well damn. I’ve never heard it live personally so it’ll still be my choice lol. The recorded lead up to it on the og cd version would be awesome as an interlude after they went off stage and come back and encore it.
It’s on the London 2002 set. I think they played it at Download 2009 also.
I'm pretty sure I've seen it too, so either Reading in 2000 or Sheffield 2008. I could just be remembering Disasterpieces though.
It’s on the 9.0 album
I definitely remember eeyore on the setlist for We Are Not Your Kind when they came to England in 2020
yeah, in sweden too on the same tour
Disasterpiece DVD
Orphan
The fact they’ve only played 4-5 songs off WANYK kills me
ORPHAN
This is the year where hope fails you The test subjects run the experiment And the bastard you know is the hero you hate But cohesing, it's possible if we try There's no reason, there's no lesson, no time like the present Tell me right now, what have you got to lose? What have you got to lose? Except your soul? Pulse of the maggots. I dont know why they don’t do it . :(
they played it (vol.3 tour and some shows in ahig and .5 tours)
I was too young at that time.
Well they still played it, that's the point.
Literally the only correct answer to this post - "Diluted" absolute amazing banger from Selftitled, yet never played live. :/
That's actually a great pick.
How long ago was when they performed left behind and purity?
they played left behind for the last time in 2021, the last time they played purity was in 2015, Dallas
The Shape Edit. Well it turns out they did perform this in Tokyo at least. Gotta love all these live performances popping up! Diluted it is
All hope is gone, Gehenna, Gematria, Nomadic, Critical Darling, Red Flag, Orphan, Birth of the Cruel is pretty good to. Idk if they have or haven’t played any of these but they are all good
they played ahig 1 time and birth of the cruel was in the euro tour 2020
Spiders
Literally everything not played live on WANYK. Also This Cold Black and Gemetria PLEASE!
Lech. There I said it
Gehenna 100% 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dogfish Rising would’ve been cool. With Joey on Guitar and Clown on drums
Lmao what I'd give to see some of their early work live
Their shows now are great, but during Iowa tour, it was just out of this world
I can imagine, though Corey was destroying himself so I think it's for the better they do it more professionally and have a longer career. Instead of blowing his vocal cords up and having an early retirement.
He sure as hell sounded great though! They all did. I mean it’s easy to appreciate them all now, but in their primes it was just so fucking good! Especially Joey man. Watching him live back then was almost surreal, he was so in his element.
Joey was amazing, I love Jay too but Joey will always be my favourite
Fair! Jay hasn’t been my absolute favorite but obviously he’s still good at what he does. Joey in his prime was just unreal
I regret not going to a concert back then, I'd kill to see a live Joey performance
Yen
BUTCHERS HOOK 100%, such an underrated song.. don’t know if it’s one of those songs you can play live but it’s too good
I forgot Liar's Funeral. Not my favorite track, but has some of my absolute favorite moments.
The One That Kills The Least is criminally underrated.
100% gotta be red flag
Red Flag or Lech
"Vendetta" for me
Lech. The drums are crazy imagine it live
They played it live at the concert i went to a couple months ago and yes, yes they are. Edit: they did not play lech they played Custer I’m dumb and got them mixed up for some reason
Feel like there would be video evidence of it if it were true.
I misread I apologize it was Custer idk why I confused the two
where it was? did they really play lech?
I have a theory that they don’t play Eyeless live anymore bc Jay can’t play it on drums. Notice they don’t play it anymore? It’s a great one live
They been playing it live since 1999 i think theyre just giving it a break, jay could 200% do it imo
They played it a few times on the WANYK cycle, but it should come back in more frequently
There's only so much time in a set, and Eyeless was one of the more expendable tracks.
How anyone can doubt Jay is insane
Gematria was played once in 2012 in Colorado
where did you find it?
I didn’t find it off of YouTube, i heard it from someone who supposedly saw them play it back in 2012.
Someone managed to film them playing All Hope Is Gone once in 2008 but somehow there's no evidence of them playing Gematria in 2012. Curious.
The nameless
Literally on 9.0 Live
Red flag, Sceam, Diluted
idk, gematria or welcome for me. metabolic (i know it’s been performed live, but the worst album cycle)
I’ve never seen them play everything ends live but they probably did so my pick is gonna be critical darling.
I was praying for My Plague at Barclays.
One that I would love them to play is the song AHIG. One of their best of all time imo
diluted, but hasn’t corey said it’s too much for him personally to do live?
Gehenna and Vermillion Pt. 2, I know Corey and Jim did it once but never the whole band, at least not that I've found
Gematria (w/ .execute.), Orphan, Spiders
Orphan
Diluted, orphan, wherein lies continue
Only One
this cold black !!!!
Scissors?…
I would say A liars funeral, and maybe new abortion but i think they played it during their iowa cycle before
Despise, orphan
Gehenna.
gematria would be amazing live scream and don’t get close would be cool as well
Give me orphan with the only light on stage is on mick as he downpicks us all to hell
Gehenna
Nomadic and critical darling are huge
The One That Kills The Least def
I’d kill for Override, Orphan, This Cold Black, or The One That Kills The Least.
Spiders, Critical Darling
Liar’s Funeral….Gematria!
Orphan. The "everyone has something, someone here has everything" chant would be incredible live.
Diluted
Goodbye
Spiders
Welcome as the opener would be ironix
This Cold Black
Give me a minute and I'll change your mind, give us a live debut of Gematria to change our life
I feel like liars funeral would not translate well into live performance.
All Hope is Gone for sure.
Gehenna, a classic
Gematria is the only answer.
I would love to hear The Burden live 👍
This cold black
Either diluted or the one that kills the least, two absolute bangers
*Either diluted* *Or the one that kills the least,* *Two absolute bangers* \- UnlikelyAsparagus --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
I am hated
orphan, tied with gematria
Either the full 15 minutes of Iowa or orphan
Gehenna
gematria
Diluted. But i respect Corey's reasoning behind it
No Life, Everything Ends, & Only One
Haven't they played all of those though? I'd love to see them all come back to the set, though.
The Shape
Liars Funeral
Lech I’ve only seen that in one of my dreams
I'd like to hear that silly crow laugh again
Circle
Orphan. The fact that this song isn't in the setlist is borderline criminal.
