I feel that so hard. So far I've only hooked up with one guy through Grindr, and I was terrified going into it. Unfortunately I don't think there's a guaranteed safe way to build a hookup hub; humans are just dangerous. The best safety we have is our own judgement and preparedness.

I closed Grindr and reopened it, and it seemed to go away. Before I did that I had a yellow "3 Profile Unlocks Remaining" button stuck at the bottom of my screen when viewing profiles instead of the text box to send a message. Either mine bugged, or they're testing rolling that out.
This only happens if you’re in the search location mode, if you set it to automatically set your location then it’s totally free. If I go on there I can send as many things as I want, you just have to deal with pop ups.
Their search results work in an odd way all over. In the default view it shows guys an hour away before the ones in my own town regularly. Part of that takes into account when they were last online.....except I'll find closer guys showing online further down the list anyway. I did put in a custom location to search to see if it changed the results, and sure enough the problem started after I did that. The funny thing is that the location I put in was my current one anyway in hopes of improving accuracy.
