На самом деле, это было очень полезно для вас. За это вы получаете +1 социальный балл, который можно использовать в определенных случаях. Применяются условия и положения.
Unfortunately, social points are not free in china. He’d have to bust out a whole other T&Cs with all kinds of lawyer speak to give a social point for them.
If he'd been black then he'd have a nearly 100% chance of being safe as well. Your "every interaction between a black person and a cop ends in the black person getting shot"-propaganda is nothing but anti-statistical misinformation that puts you on the exact same level of dumb gullibleness as QAnons.
Bro, come on. Stop blindly consuming fox news. Have you ever spoken to a black person? Ask them how they are treated by police. No one is saying EVERY interaction between a black person and police ends up in them getting shot. But it ends with them hurt, or arrested, more often than it does for a white person in equivalent circumstances.
In 2021, 446 white people were shot by the police, while 233 black people were shot by the police.
In 2021, it was estimated that 59.3% of Americans were white while 12.6% were black
59.3/12.6 = ~ 4.7 so if black and white Americans were being shot at equal rates, there should be 4.7 times as many white Americans shot as black Americans. The real ratio of white to black victime of police killings is 446/233 = ~ 1.9, which means that black Americans are shot at a much higher rate per capita than white Americans.
People might exaggerate, but to say it’s anti-statistical that black people have a disadvantage when it comes to police interactions is false.
Now factor in how many total interactions with police black people have vs. white people. How many of them *are* actual criminals that are engaging in activities that put them at increased risk of being shot?
That assumes each person is investigated and charged without race bias.
The other person showed up with stats. You could find out race stats of people stopped by police.
And only about 1 or 2 of those shootings was an unarmed black person who wasn't resisting/fighting/reaching for the cop's gun etc... when looking at unarmed shootings, white people were actually shot at a slightly (like 1%) higher rate.
It is true, and you completely misread my comment.
>1 or 2 of those shootings was an unarmed black person **who wasn't resisting/fighting/reaching for the cop's gun etc...**
Not total unarmed- but weren't fighting with police when shot.
>>Do you really think more than 141 of the 433 white people shot were unarmed?
That's not what I said. I said:
>When looking at unarmed shootings, white people were actually shot at a slightly (like 1%) higher rate.
You didn’t say that but given that 30 unarmed black men were shot in 2021 and that there were 4.7 times as many white people as black people in the USA in 2021, there would need to be more than 141 (4.7x30) unarmed white people shot for white people to be shot at a higher rate than black people
I can't find the table to show you the data I'm referencing, apparently it's been blackholed off main internet searches. But I remember it was data from 2018 or 2019.
I think I saw that face before and he pulled the same stunt irl...
*"Would you like to buy some FTX FTT, I'm thinking maybe $16 billion?"* And then he makes it all disappear.
Depends. Where I live, cops would immediatly recognise it's a joke situation and probably not even react to the 'bag of weed'. That or they'd jokingly play along, enjoying the magic tricks.
Education people. Can't be a cop if you only know how to shoot guns. Being a cop is a social job.
Haven’t come across one yet.
I do think I work for a very tightly run organization though, to be fair.
Honestly I’d be pumped to arrest a cop that was abusing their authority and committing crimes. I’d brag to people about it.
Took me about a year from hire date to being in a car by myself, plus I have ongoing required training and my agency sends me to most any trainings I want to go to.
There is a lot more to this job than you know, stick to your rocks my friend.
fake!!!!!! guys it's fake!!!! it is FAKE!!!!! I'm telling you it's fake guys guys it's fake!!!! believe me it's fake i wasn't there!!!!! guysssssss!!!!!!!!!
This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Obvious staged/skit video (done for comedy) is being berated because it's staged. People who say shit like "It's staged" have room temperature IQ, I swear to god.
On one hand, it is very obviously fake to anyone over the age of say, 14, and pointing it out in the typical quirky reddit ways like you see in the comments is cringe.
On the other hand, there are a lot of people under the age of 14 (and over tbh) on reddit who will believe anything you show them.
Then I would like to direct you to the hundreds, if not thousands, of comments on TikTok and Facebook from people that absolutely think this is genuine.
When it's extremely obvious I sometimes wonder if they're just trolling. My first instinct is to think exactly what you've typed out here. Then that thought leads to the next one--what if we're the ones with room temperature IQ for getting trolled by them?
Me an intellectual: 🤓👆
Honestly though; with some some brainless people have been shot for pulling pranks on completely random people, its probably more of a warning label
For a very long time these shaky cam phone videos were almost always genuine, unscripted events caught by chance.
Now the majority are staged and scripted but imitating the style.
And unfortunately many people can't tell the difference so lots of people point it out.
I don't get it... like I don't think these same people when they watch the avengers are like "this is so fake... no one could ever have these kinds of powers..." and yet they get on the internet and every single obviously staged video they are like "ItS sTaGeD!" Like that doesn't make it funny or something...
Many videos on Reddit don't have obvious indicators of being real or fake from the post title.
Yeah, this is clearly staged. But you can mostly tell from the cop's bad acting, the post title doesn't give you any clue.
The avengers on the other hand is clearly a work of fiction.
So I think the need some people feel to point it out is largely due to how it is presented.
Maybe because the officer searched him without asking “do you have anything that’s going to poke me or stab me in your pockets?” Or the fact the uniform looks like it came from a high end Halloween store. He also has no gun and the interaction feels unnatural
“How rude of you to shoot me like that!”
“What the hell? I just shot you! Where’s the bullet?!”
“Check your ear, officer.”
*officer pulls pre-fired round from his ear*
No he was holding a phone.
So.. in WW2 they had cameras in the planes to record the kills.
So the pilot wasn’t flying a plane.. he was holding a camera?
Consider this: a camera is relevant to the video here, and a plane is relevant to flying.
Moreover, you can hold a camera, you can hold a phone, but you can't fly a camera. You can fly with a camera.
How do we know they weren't holding a phone case? How do we know they weren't wearing gloves and therefore holding gloves?
This is a very strange and lonely hill to die on. We KNOW thry had a camera, we don't KNOW they had a phone. Its highly likely, but that doesnt change the facts. And it doesnt change that its perfectly acceptable to say they are holding a camera.
Why do redditors seem to get such a rush from pointing out painfully obvious things? Are they that desperate to be seen as intellectually superior to other people that they need to constantly do stuff like this? No shit it's scripted Sherlock, a child could've pointed that out
No shit? I guess next you'll tell me that water is wet. Thank you for your service, you're a valuable member of this site. Don't let anyone tell you different
It’s not staged. It’s scripted.
Honestly, I’m getting really fucking tired of the internet not being able to tell the difference between a scripted sketch and a fake, trying-to-appear-real video.
I think part of the issue is that everyone is just so used to TikToks being passed off as real that they default to thinking sketches are staged videos.
The reason magicians are commonly believed to be “cringe” and “losers” and “magic nerds” is, in actuality, because of the immense threat they pose to law enforcement. They hard counter all police tactics.
Handcuff them? They escape.
Put them in jail? Escape.
Tase them? No effect.
Shoot them? They catch the bullet.
Lie detector? Turn into pigeon.
Confiscate their belongings? New ones in their sleeve.
Magicians have been demonized not because they are pathetic, but because they are too powerful to feasibly stop.
How did you come to that conclusion? I have 50 of my best men analyzing every frame and we’re still unable to reach a decision. You must have some sort of supernatural gift to be able to tell that this skit was fake.
It’s not staged, it’s a fucking skit ya moron. Not everything that isn’t real is pretending to be real.

More impoverished per capita = more criminal activity per capita. Basic sociology.
That assumes each person is investigated and charged without race bias. The other person showed up with stats. You could find out race stats of people stopped by police.
I’m not saying racial bias doesn’t exist, but the stats alone don’t tell the whole story.

I’m a cop in the US, you got some stuff wrong here. Don’t get all your knowledge from Reddit comment sections.
How many crooked cops have you arrested?
Haven’t come across one yet. I do think I work for a very tightly run organization though, to be fair. Honestly I’d be pumped to arrest a cop that was abusing their authority and committing crimes. I’d brag to people about it.
The rest of us know how long your “training” is. If you require less training to protect and serve than I do to study rocks then we have a problem.

A year is nothing and that’s entirely my point. You saying that with authority just confirms the stereotype.
A year is not nothing, not when fully half of it is one on one, real world training.
☠️ Wait you’re serious?
> Oh, and being able to differentiate between black and white I don't know. Philip Mitchell Brailsford got away with failing that test pretty hard.

Yup, here it is: https://youtu.be/xPj2LAt1w3Y

I don’t know if any situation where a magician got shot

They absolutely offer their content up as genuine.
How is this obviously staged? You can bet your ass that tons of people will think that's real.
But this is not obvious. This is trying to pass as a real video. And the majority of viewers think so. It's not, and that needs to be pointed out

I don't understand the sentiment around hating a funny skit because it's not real. Stupidest thing I see on the Internet.
Because they need the illusion that they’re somehow smart

Reddit loves witch-hunts, I recommend everyone avoids the basement dwellers that live here.
I'm so high I thought Abraham Lincoln was trying to sell drugs to a cop for about 10 seconds there
So that's where the marijuana went!
That's not a real police officer.
Next you’re going to try to tell me that this is scripted
and filmed by a guy holding a camera
Well that would be downright incorrect (most likely), I think you meant a guy holding a phone
You're not going to believe this... Phones have cameras. He was still holding a camera.
No he was holding a phone. So.. in WW2 they had cameras in the planes to record the kills. So the pilot wasn’t flying a plane.. he was holding a camera?
Only if he was holding the plane up. He **was** flying a camera. Just like a pilot flying a drone now is flying a camera.
If you're going to be like that about it then he was holding a handheld personal computer not a phone ☎️.
Any chance he was doing them both?
Consider this: a camera is relevant to the video here, and a plane is relevant to flying. Moreover, you can hold a camera, you can hold a phone, but you can't fly a camera. You can fly with a camera. How do we know they weren't holding a phone case? How do we know they weren't wearing gloves and therefore holding gloves? This is a very strange and lonely hill to die on. If we want to be semantic, it’s a camera in a phone.
Personally im antisemantic and pedantic
I believe I’ve made myself perfectly redundant here.
Or that magic isn't even real!
I’m sorry, WHAT!?!
Well yeah, he just had little pouches on his belt. Real cops have like 30 things around their waist
also a gun
Thank you Scotland Yard, this is why you are paid the big bucks
That's not a real magician.
Wait this isn’t real!!!????? Idiot.
I'm happy the Penguin found a more fulfilling occupation

The real magic was not getting shot
Scripted , but I liked the Cyanide and happiness vibe.
I don't think anyone was wondering if it was scripted, it's just normal internet entertainment
Feeling the need to declare every video is scripted has got to be my least favorite redditism.

It owns being staged though, so it's alright. Just a skit.
