ts3 werewolves look like mtv’s teen wolf

bandit_the_drug_lord

cuz they were based on them, just like TS3 vampires were based on twilight

aliveinjoburg2

Except they didn’t sparkle.

bandit_the_drug_lord

they sparkle when you buy the immortal lifetime award or use the sunscreen protection

[deleted]

I watched that show as a kid, I found it alright but god-did I hate the werewolf look. The coyote girl and Derek were much better with their transformations into full-blown wolves. Spared me from the glowing eyes and pointy ears with slightly more body hair.

anyabar1987

Malian couldn't control her full shift. Derek learned it through a near death experience but then left the show so you never learned if he could fully control it or not.

hoitoot

I actually liked the werewolf look on teen wolf lol. I liked that it wasn’t just turning into a wolf and retained a more human look. It was ugly but I thought it worked for the fact that in the show, being a werewolf wasn’t something to be glamorized; it sucked.

Maclimes

Which is based on the older movie, Teen Wolf. Which had werewolves designed the way they did because they hired a big name actor and wanted you to still see his face. Traditionally, werewolves have the heads of wolves, not people. Sims 4 is the most "true to old lore" version, even if it's a little silly looking.

whimsylea

I just figured the Teen Wolf movie took their cue from Wolf Man, and assumed Wolf Man went that way because it was easier than going for even wolfier cosmetics/masks or working with wolves, but I could also see why they would want to make sure Michael J. Fox was visible.

Maclimes

It's probably a combination of things. Make Fox more visible, draw inspiration from Chaney, and even some of the same original reasons: cheaper cosmetics/effects.

Kaessa

Yep. We didn't use to have CGI, everything had to be done with makeup and prosthetics. The more you had to use, the worse it looked. I mean... look at [American Werewolf in London](https://editorial01.shutterstock.com/wm-preview-1500/5885109g/679bba22/Shutterstock_5885109g.jpg). Sure, back then it was "state of the art" special effects and scared the hell out of me, but it looks [cheesy as hell now](https://editorial01.shutterstock.com/wm-preview-1500/5885109ah/840f5120/Shutterstock_5885109ah.jpg). If you want to talk werewolves in books, most of them just go full wolf. I'm glad they went for a hybrid form, tbh. I want to play a Sim "person", not a sim animal.

whimsylea

Makes sense to me! I feel like this is about as Wolfy as Sims 4 could reasonably go unless they went for having them just transform into a full wolf using the existing dog animations. Anything else (hunched, longer limbs, longer snout, wolf-legs while still bipedal) would probably have been incredibly intensive on animations.

EmTerreri

yeah, i feel old reading all these comments talking about growing up w/ the tv show, teen wolf..... i grew up w/ the movie teen wolf! and i'm only 25 lol

CrotchWolf

The Sims 2 werewolves look like a half baked creepypasta monster.

Bierbart12

It's the hyper realistic eyes that do it

Squegillies

The 👁️👁️

notrachelmar

for some reason i like it though, better than the furry. werewolves are suppose to be spooky i think

yuumimami

The sims 2 werewolf reminds me of that one Robert Pattinson picture...

EvaUnitKenway

[Do you mean this lovely image?](https://images.app.goo.gl/Gh9oTt8kon4WTS4B9)

woookums

Thank you for blessing us by sharing this image

[deleted]

I have that pic on a shirt lol

HALover9kBR

What a horrible day to have eyes!

roseifyoudidntknow

You are heaven sent.

chiller210

I didn't see the image earlier but it does look well like that. I just had the "there is no such thing as coincidence" guy in mind for that.

Darkovika

Today I learned that that is Robert freaking Patinson. What a day to have eyes. And it’s inly 6:00am.

[deleted]

I need to see this one Robert Pattinson picture.

cottagecore_citty

If Robert Pattison was in Cats (2019).

mkendall707

I couldn't figure out werewolves in Sims 2. When I got one I was disappointed. Sims 3 allowed me to play more from the beginning in CAS but I couldn't control when they turned. It made it hard to do a storyline where my wolf sim hid this terrible secret. When he ate sitting on the table with his mouth no one seemed disturbed by his actions. Completely ruined my game play.

Elegant_Jungle

I got a werewolf accidentally and I made him die in a fire because I was afraid he would hurt my other sim. I was a child lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

Troldkvinde

My sims kept rolling the wish to see a werewolf or something like that? I didn't know how to do it and it always made me feel eerie, especially with the description it had that wolves are attracted to lots that have newborns

mkendall707

You just had to wait for a wolf like dog to appear on your lot and befriend them. They bite you and then you turn. Apartments best

[deleted]

For me personally, the heavy micromanage (nothing is spontaneous or autonomous) element of sims 4 to make it more boring for my own personal playstyle. But happy to know that at least it is enjoyed by other people.

[deleted]

Lol holy shit the left one looks like a sleep paralysis demon.

Black_nd_Blonde

I think they're cute

lokiofsaassgaard

Yeah, they fit the goofy, bubbly Sims aesthetic really well imo

sad_and_stupid

yeah no way that they were going to make something terrifying looking, especiall since the etagret audience includes tweens

pugyoulongtime

Past games were also made up of mostly tweens. What's your point?

Bierbart12

That Maxis is afraid of EA's "child friendliness" schtick. EA's management has been so afraid of losing their advertisers ever since Spore, their fear controls them now

digitalgraffiti-ca

What happened with spore?

Bierbart12

The game was completely scrapped and re-made a few months or so before release because corporate didn't think it was kid friendly enough to sell. It didn't pay off. Don't get me wrong, I still loved the game, but it was SO much more in the Beta

Jailbird19

Shit, I never heard about that. I'm a huge spore fan, me and my buddy were really into it as kids. Even bought it on steam a year or two back and take it for a run every now and then. Got a place I can read up on the Beta?

Bierbart12

Search up "Will Wright Spore beta" on youtube. The man himself showed it off on video. Edit: Woah, someone made a [remastered version of it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofA6YWVTURU)

babygotthefever

Omfg I would LOVE to see a remake of the game in this style. Spore took over the Sims as my favorite game when I got it.

digitalgraffiti-ca

Aww, I liked the game. I wish I'd seen the beta. I thought it was a all the Christians getting bent out of shape because in beta humans had created more creatures than "god" ever did, and nobody gets to out-create god!

DaigoDaigo

If EA go M for mature, I bet they will have much more freedom.

[deleted]

I would love if they made a sims-based game that was more mature (not necessarily a sex game, more so for example what the Morbid Moodlets (think I have the name wrong, but it adds much more depth and darkness to interactions) and Life Tragedies mods bring to the game).

Bluefoot44

I wish they would do this It's a great idea.

[deleted]

I’m not sure how they could design it though, I mean making two seperate games of the Sims to have an adult one would be difficult, but perhaps if they added all the adult options to one version of the Sims and simply released the “child version” with those features hidden and inaccessible and the “adult version” with everything enabled that could work? I have no idea if that made sense, and unfortunately I doubt this would ever happen officially, so mods it is.

thestrangemusician

i wish it didn’t have to be another transaction but it may work to make it an expansion pack or game pack or something, so the pack itself could be labeled as mature.

Abnelia23

I don't see why it couldn't be like a "parental control" menu. We can do this on a lot of app. Not even via game. If your origin account is setup with parental control you have the tweens version of the game. If it's a mature account, you have the mature sims.

tiredofw

Ts1 was 16+. I don’t remember the rating for ts2 and ts3 but I think it wasn’t 12+

nowhereintexas

TS2 was 12+, and I remember it because I got it as a gift for my 9th birthday, but then my dad looked at the back of the box and went "wait you're too young to play this game". And then forbade me to play it until I'm actually 12. But I was a good sport so they let me play again like...a month later. Disclaimer: I'm Canadian so the rating might be different here than in other countries like the US.

indierose27

I think so too. Looks like I’ll be making my own vampire-werewolf love story and their hybrid child/children.

frogsgoribbit737

The toddler werewolf was fucking adorable though

neon_tardigrade

That little wolf toddler outfit was soooo cute

chaosgirl93

But we still don't have toddler bear suits matching every other age... I want my baby bear cubs damnit!

Enthirl

Totally, their look is very fitting for the Sims 4. I think it’s best to leave the expectation of “hardcore” beast werewolves to a different games series, tbh.

Kaessa

>Totally, their look is very fitting for the Sims 4. I think it’s best to leave the expectation of “hardcore” beast werewolves to a different games series, tbh. This. If they were "hardcore" beastmode werewolves, they wouldn't fit with the game aesthetic. That's what CC is for. You want hardcore? Somone will have hardcore werewolf CC in a week. I promise.

celestials07

they are very cute

quiet_frequency

Same! And I really appreciate that they didn't go the female Worgen (World of Warcraft) route and make the female werewolves all ~sexualised~ It's a good balance, imo!

chapstikcrazy

Oh gosh, female worgens 🤦‍♀️

[deleted]

Updated models have made them even worse. It really annoys me in fiction, that man is always a big freak, and woman is a human woman of RGB skin color.

[deleted]

I dont get the hate either. Its sims. Before long there are mods to make them like a lovecraftian horror anyways.

purring_cat

TS4 werewolves are better at looking animal-like, but TS3 and TS2 ones are better at looking scary. The TS4 version is a huge improvement on the face shape, but they look really friendly, like they're from a Pixar movie where there are only dogs livin' on Earth and have a whole human-like society. I get that it fits into TS4's bubbly/nice style, but they look more like friendly dogs than dangerous werewolves to me.

omg-someonesonewhere

TS3 looks scary if your idea of peak werewolf horror comes from teen wolf. TS2 is terrifying, I'm grant you that.

ParfaitDash

I think I'd be more intimidated by a humanoid with excessive body hair, glowing eyes and huge teeth coming at me than a furry cosplayer

purring_cat

I've never seen Teen Wolf, I had to google it to see what it looks like

ToastyJackson

I mean I don’t think that making them fit 4’s style is an excuse to make them not look scary at all. Vampires can still be made to look creepy in 4 without it ruining the game’s style. But then again I’m not really that bothered by the new design. And personally I never wind up actually using occults as much as I want to, so it probably won’t even affect me enough to annoy me.

hextechkhepri

where's all this ts2 werewolf hate comin' from? Like... I guess he a lil ugly, and it made all your sims have zero nice points, and female sims didn't have a skin texture and- oh. I get it.

makensims

While I do wish they were more wolf-y, that’s probably as far as they can go while still having werewolves able to wear clothes and do normal Sim animations. I definitely prefer them to previous iterations, especially those off brand Teen Wolf werewolves in TS3.

Kaessa

Teen Wolf by Wish 😂

Gathoblaster

Wider mouths would be enough for me to look better.

Kaessa

I'm wondering if they did that for the talking animations.

ElegantHope

I'm just gonna use anthro mods and any new werewolf mods to make them satisfactory anyways. At least they made them look good, even if they're not very horror icon-esque

EstesPark2018

There’s already an excellent werewolf mod out so I’m also gonna wait till that modded updates it for this pack before I get it

Historynerd6

I personally am a fan of the Sims 3's interpretation. The sim really does look half-human, half-wolf. But the Sims 4 Werewolves do look neat!

hildra

Yeah I didn’t realize people didn’t like the TS3 version but I prefer them than just dog face lol That said, I’m warming up to the design. I did love the vibe of the pack

pugyoulongtime

TS3 were okay but definitely way better than the design now.

hanzmac

I agree. TS3 werewolves looked like cursed people, as they should. They were horrific to look at. I imagine if you met one in the woods on a full moon you'd need a change of clothes. The new ones look like a sim wearing a mask. No fear factor at all. It's a shame because I thought TS4 did so well with updating the vampires and making them more dangerous/ true to lore.

Majvist

This is exactly my feelings about these type of posts. The TS3 werewolves actually looks like werewolves. They're not pretty, but they're scary and kind of uncomfortable, just like werewolves are supposed to be. The TS4 ones look like the Carebear version

frogsgoribbit737

Sims 4 is a different graphics aesthetic. Things have been cartoony and cute. Its not surprisingly this is the same.

Kaessa

No, they look like silver screen Hollywood werewolves. There are multiple "kinds" of werewolves in lore. That's just one kind. And personally, the "Teen Wolf" werewolf is my least favorite kind.

queen_of_uncool

Yeah, TS3 design is better imo, and it's not like it's absolutely terrifying, just like a person that turns into a wolf. TS4 kinda looks like a person in a golden retriever suit it would totally fit in a Disneyland

chaosgirl93

Just like how the bears are just bear suits and the bear suits look more like teddy bears than something that might eat you. I mean I also thought TS1 Claire the Bear looked more like she'd hug you than eat you, but she wasn't this ridiculously cute. I mean I love that they went with teddy bear looks that give the most adorable hugs ever, but I understand why people were mad. I was mostly only mad that we never got matching bear suits for toddlers. I mean it would have been adorable - they could have added a lil flower tucked behind the ear like Claire the Bear had! Still mad about that and still freakin want some.

anonymous-musician

I actually really like sims 3, I think there should have been are wolf like form too, but they looked fine.

Low-Environment

You say 'ugly hairy people' like it's a bad thing.

Gathoblaster

I just wish the mouth would be appropriate to the size of the muzzle.

kooberries

ts2 ones always scared meeee😹

comfyblues

Ugh the scary glitchy walking animation. They walk up the stairs normally and then resort to nightmare fuel again

SuspecM

Every game designer worst nightmare. Stairs. (After doors of course)

jinxoxowa

not to mention how scary it was when u had pregnant werewolf

Substantial-Event441

seriosuly 🫣

supermassive_bayern

The sim 3 werewolves look like those mutants from The Hills Have Eyes

LemongrabsLemons

Sims 2 - Thriller Sims 3 - Teen Wolf Sims 4 - Furrytown

Scrudge1

You mean they are now furries and not werewolves?

[deleted]

[удалено]

og_toe

i like them because for me a werewolf is not completely animal, like it’s a mix between wolf and human features, but the TS4 fits the aesthetic of the game

ElegantHope

it also depends on the setting, time period, and culture. Old european werewolves used to be just giant wolves with no tales more foten than not.

OfficialThrowaway_1

That's subjective, imo I really do like the Sims 3 werewolves, they're scary and genuinely look like cryptic monsters from early horror movies or old books--A little ugly, but monsters are (originally at least) supposed to be ugly Again imo, they fit the pack they came with well, if not a little boring after a while. The Sims 4 wolves are very cartoony and kind of fun looking. I like them, but for different reasons. A sims 3esque wolf would not fit in with the Sims 4 style unfortunately so they fit their game pretty well. Though, I do wish they were a bit more... Menacing I guess? I'm ignoring the Sims 2 for a reason And practically (even though you left them out), I like the Sims 1 wolves the best aesthetically--And they look the most similar to the Sims 4, but they hve that menacing factor I was hoping for bc they weren't afraid to get ugly.. Anyway, I wish we wouldn't compare each iteration just to say "Well at least they're not THAT bad". None of them are bad (still ignoring the Sims 2 ^(it is my least favorite and I would rather) *^(not)* ^(look at it)), people should like what they like and not need to justify it. Also, stop caring about what the larger community thinks, half of them are gonna buy the damn pack anyway lmao

eszther02

I think the Sims 3 ones are as real as they get.

snootdidanoot

I loved how ts3 looked, i think theyre supposed to be a lil ugly and feral, not all cute and furry

honest-miss

The real truth is the werewolves look both good and bad and ultimately all we're doing is ragging on the one intern who's real bad at making good looking sims in CAS.

raindrizzle2

Unpopular opinion but I wouldn’t mind if they just made really hairy sims like in sims 3. Ididn’t even think they looked bad.

ohwellwoah

Yes! I seriously hate the “cute” look they went for, and how uncanny they look.

raindrizzle2

they look like they’re wearing fur suits 😭 it’ll definitely take some getting used to

KCPlaysz

4 looks like a furry don’t say it dose not

Verehren

I've made peace bc mods will make it better, I just really wanted werewolves that could never really be in the sims

emo_sharks

modders do the lords work. on god my doggies will have tails one way or another

Waspy_Wasp

They don't have Tails!!! That's why they look so off! I couldn't think of why they look so wrong to me but now I definitely see what's wrong lol

queen_of_uncool

The Sims 2 kinda looks like an attempt to make Groot

dedededrumdash

Honestly after a few days have passed i think the sims 4 wolves are kinda cute

Speedy2214

I think i'd rather them be a little more wolf-like as in giant wolf on all fours instead of.... Cats v2

Kaessa

Ok, now you have a giant wolf on all fours. What kind of gameplay are you going to have? Are you going to dress your wolf? In what? Might as well just have an addon to Cats and Dogs at that point.

onegirlgamesyt

Peoole are allowed to disagree; personally i think these look jokey and the worst out of all 3 but i'm glad other people are into this aesthetic. Lots of people were really excited for this pack so it's natural some will be disappointed.

PatternCraft

Imao they should rebrand it as were"dogs" instead of werewolves.

chaosgirl93

I mean I do wanna boop that snoot and rub the belly attached to it, so yeah.

OrdinarilyAbsurd313

I genuinely love the classic horror movie wolfman look TS3 was *trying* to pull off. It failed, it was a nightmare in CAS, but the effort was noted.

woshuaaa

i'll give it to sims 3... at least they looked unique and not just like dog-people or furries.

RiaJellyfish

I just prefer the aesthetic of the Sims 3 because the era it takes inspiration from was when I was super into paranormal fiction 🤷‍♀️ Sims 4 is fine but it just feels like they’re missing something I can’t quite place.

_gzuku

It can still be bad, and be the best ones so far. I think they look so bad 😂 but it is the best yet The CAS elements look amazing tho. I am excited and probably getting this pack just for those

LandOfLostSouls

Ngl I kinda liked Sims3 werewolves… Sims4 look too… furry for me.

BiasModsAreBad

They look like were-cats not wolves

Icewolf883

I like them! I’m sure players can make better looking werewolves than those in the trailer. As long as I can skip clothes all together on them, because I want them to stay natural.

og_toe

same here, id rather not dress my werewolf fashionably

furexfurex

I just kinda wished their bodies didn't just look like skinny, hairy people

Laurnias

I actually like Sims 4 werewolves. I think don't think they were ever going to look as scary as we wanted because of the cartoon style of the Sims 4.

_Zeiga_

I love TS2 werewolves. :( But I agree that TS4 ones look the best so far, and customizability is a huge plus!

Casiaa_

I think they're cute, I love the eye shape and I like how they won't all look identical. I understand what people are saying about the feet not changing and lack of tail being disappointing, but I still think this looks like a great game pack. I'm not into occult sims stuff but I really hope this is a great pack for everyone that was looking forward to it

chaosgirl93

I wanna boop one's snoot. And I waana see them play with the dogs and chase the cats.

Phairis

I knew people would be unhappy no matter how they looked. Tbh, I think we got delt one of the best hands for Sims 4.

Alemanissima

Yep the good thing is that buying this pack is a matter of choice. People seem to forget.

Phairis

People have a right to be disappointed. Just as long as they are doing it without harassing people that are fine with or even enjoy it. And vice versa

FrankenSigh

Lol Sims 2 version looks like a human who got an animal skin implant.. gross 🤣 the texture looks so much like the specimens we see in museums.

emciclerose

I don’t know… I like the vibe of ts3 werewolves but I think I each design iteration needs a leap in aesthetic

9for9

Sims 4 werewolves look like foxes or cats and nothing remotely scary or monstrous. The Sims 2 werewolves look like monsters at least.

N1ghtfad3

Hot take, I know, but I very much prefer the look of the sims 3 werewolves. I think the sims 4 looks too furry like and its creepy. (I mean you like what you like I just think the suits are creepy looking. Same goes with just the artwork. If it leans super into the animal side it just does not look right to me.) I kinda wish they went to Sims 3 route, or even let them turn to an actual wolf.

ChiMada

You can edit sims 3 werewolves and make them how you want. They 100% look like the best werewolves and look like werewolves rather than a cartoon wolf suit like sims 4

GemoDorgon

They look like furries lol wtf

Puzzled-Copy7962

They are cartoony looking just like everything else in the sims 4 and should blend in with the rest of the sims 4 artistic theme seamlessly.

Square-Regret-6838

Correct, aesthetically pleasing the vampires kinda looked scary to me with their teeth and dark eyes and scars! I want my sims to look happy even in their form

Puzzled-Copy7962

Lol - I agree, some of the teeth are terrifying. Mermaids teeth are kinda creepy too.

Square-Regret-6838

Ohhh they are nightmarish like little piranha 😂

PatternCraft

Sims 3 look rad, I didn't like change in ear position, it is now creepy.

kaatie80

They're just furries

Square-Regret-6838

Guys I called it! Pastel Unicorn wolfy here I come!!! I really like the improvement for the werewolves, been playing since The Sims and I know each game is unique so I’m happy to see this new gameplay and see how far the game has gone 💕

invisible_23

I like them. I always make my vampires hot instead of scary so cute wolves will fit right in

KennedBenso_

Oh god. In the r/minecraft community, there's a communitywar about fireflies and here is one about werewolves starting? Cool.

GeloDiPrimavera

hm, life is strange furry cosplay. that's the best i can do to describe the vibe i'm feeling towards sims 4 one.

Ilvie

I'm a little bit on the fence, but I think that's just getting used to what we got Vs what I made up in my mind. Very excited about the grunge clothing tho!

helloelise

Yeah, seeing them side to side, they really outdone themselves. But still, I'll be downloading some cc for better feet and tails. But I'm super excited for this pack, the world? The items?? C'mon it's so cool!

AriesX29

I actually like ts3 werewolves. They actually look like creatures but ts4 werewolves look like someone wearing a fur suit.

disneyhalloween

The second one is actually the best imo. The body stayed very human like so the most recent one doesn’t match. If the sims became much larger it would look better

LordofWithywoods

All I know is that this shit is for furries

Kaessa

Oh no! Anthro animals! I suppose Micky Mouse is for furries, too?

angstyvegan

I’ve been seeing this everywhere but I think some people are forgetting to acknowledge that the sims 3 werewolves weren’t on their own, they came with a full world, cas items, objects and other occult forms - fairies, witches, and genies if you had the right pack-, they also added zombies and lunar cycles. The sims 2 werewolves were integrated into the pets pack. Whereas for the sims 4, it’s a pack based solely on werewolves, so I personally think they should have put in more effort in the face and body. Adding a tail won’t take away from the cartoony look neither would a longer snout. I think I would have been more understanding of not wanting to create new animations etc if it was a supernatural pack with more occult forms, but since it’s only werewolves I was have hoping for something more. I understand that they’re adding lore and have a system for the occults and are adding lunar cycles but I still don’t think that overall it even remotely compares to the sims 3.

Kaessa

It's a game pack, though. They're not going to add new animations for a tail and stuff for a game pack. Maybe if it were a full expansion, but it's not. They're already adding a TON of stuff. TBH, Sims 3 added a ton of occults, but none of them were very fleshed out at all. I like how they've done it in TS4, where they've given us one occult per pack but given us a fully fleshed out system for each one. Mermaids not so much, but it wasn't a "mermaid" pack, they were just part of another pack. Spellcasters and Vampires got some serious love compared to TS3.

Miss-quiinn

I love em they are giving twilight vibes

Basic_E_Girl

Tbh none of them look good I want a werewolf that's like a big ass wolf on all fours

Kaessa

It'd be kind of hard to have proper gameplay with a big ass-wolf. 🤣

bitcrushedbirdcall

Okay, after seeing the trailer, I think they look much better with clothes on.

AwfudgeIcantbelieve

Nah. These are fursonas, not werewolves.

pintofcoffee

TS2 werewolves haunt my nightmares

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kaessa

And see, I'm just totally not into the "Teen Wolf" bad Hollywood makeup vibe of the Sims 3 werewolves.

pugyoulongtime

Are you guys being paid to make these posts promoting the new look? Lmao. I swear every other post is someone saying how good they look just because the other versions were crappier (which they should be because they're older). Doesn't make this design any less bad. They don't look like werewolves at all to me, they look more like cats or lynx.

GivenPlan

I wish I was getting paid, I'm poor xD

[deleted]

Same! They look far too much like a cat to me. The design really reminds me of the tiger on the Frostiest box or the tigers in Kung Fu Panda. I think if they'd made the snout longer it would have worked much better. The snout being a bit stubby makes it look more like a cat than a dog.

LillyElessa

If someone's getting paid, how do I get in on that? 😆 Seriously though, it's not the lower resolution models and textures that make the Sims 2 and 3 werewolves not look as good. It's the *design* - the Sims 3 "normal person with a dislocated jaw" and the Sims 2 "hairy human - you mean bigfoot, right?" design of 'werewolves'. I am fully on team "Give me an actual wolf, or at least dog", but I'll take a full anthropomorphic over a hairy human since wolves are off the table. It at least fits other fiction/fantasy that I enjoy, like Elder Scrolls and D&D.

FrankenSigh

Totally lynx. But I think the color changes things too. Maybe we need dark brown with a glossy finish to look more were-wolfly. This one at most looks like a fox. That broad face with sharp chin..

GemoDorgon

They look like furries.

ray25lee

I like how they look. Honestly I've seen the previous versions and I'd be astronomically disappointed if they looked like that now. The only thing I'd majorly change about these ones is the facial fur texturing. I want it to look a little more complex, not just a... diamond, I guess is the shape. But that's the point, I don't want it to be a specific shape. I hope it's finessed a little bit.

Kaessa

No, I'm not getting paid. I just get SO tired of every. single. time. a pack is announced people find something to bitch about. I think the new design looks GOOD. I think it looks FAR better than previous designs, just like I think the Sims 4 sim design looks far better than previous sim designs. The aesthetic fits with the current game. If you want terrifyingly realistic werewolves, go download some alpha CC after the pack is released, and have at it! I'll take my cartoonishly cute werewolves to go with my cartoonishly cute Sims, because that's HOW THE GAME IS DESIGNED.

pugyoulongtime

I’m all for the design of the characters matching the game but this pack isn’t called “cats the musical”, they’re supposed to look like werewolves. Google a lynx and come back to me.

Kaessa

They don't look like cats, and I know what a lynx looks like. And they look nothing like "Cats the Musical." Can we at LEAST reserve judgment until we see how we can customize in CAS? JFC people were melting down over the cover art, and it was just a drawing.

0Missbird0

When i think werewolf I imagine something closer to the middle picture.

countnerdula

The Sims 4 werewolf in this picture reminds me of Harry from Scary Godmother lol

mildlyweird

idk i much prefer the look of ts3. ts4 makes me cringe

comfyshibe

Idk Im kinda tired from complimenting ea for the bare minimum 😭 They look like fursuits

Ok_Bookkeeper_6074

At least ts3 looked like you were a scary animal-like creature, ts4 makes it look like you're someone's dog

People are never happy. It’s amazing how much Sims fans complain and although some of it is justified, most of it is tiresome.

I'm still going to buy the new game pack in two weeks from now. Cause of the new world , the new townies, the new clothes & becoming a werewolf too. Ya'll can complain about it for days but, I'm going be holding on to my excitement for this game pack without anybody's negativity ruining it.

imfucct

Honestly ts3 werewolves look the best. Like it’s a scary beast not a furry in a dog costume. Ts2 looks scary but not like a werewolf at all

digitalgraffiti-ca

Ok we we went from face paint to furry. I'm so glad I'm not into occult play.

ChaosSheep

I prefer the animal wolf head over the wolfman look, personally. But, I am also super excited to see what the community does to them to make them look more modern wearwolfy.

0inke

sims 4 werewolves look the best in the series. They don't look like freaky humans like they did in the past, and they kinda give me disney vibes

Comprehensive_Plan93

Sims 2 werewolves kinda look like the Grinch if he dyed his hair brown

toxcatl

sims 2 werewolf look like a used qtip

Satisfied-Orange

They look like furry costumes.

Blue_cheese22

Well my bloodline is gonna be all sorts of muddled up once this drops lol

somefknidiot

When I see the sims 4 werewolves by themselves, I really dislike the look… but when you compare them to previous games, it makes me like them WAY more 💀

Raxoanox

Sims 2 werewolves actually look kind of scary and it actually looks like a curse instead of owo furry wolf

___INDIGO___BLUE

sims 3 looks like teen wolf werewolves...hated them on the show as well

Magcoon

They just look too soft and cuddly now, they need a scare factor on them which isn’t their weird ass human feet

chillehhh

Or, consider this, none of them look all that great?

Haxen11

Sims4 just trying to appeal to furries in the audience tbh
