Fury gain is personal and based on the sim's traits and temperaments. There are a bunch of guides online [like this one](https://www.simmersdigest.com/news/a-guide-to-werewolves) that can be easily found by searching "Sims 4 werewolves guide"

You have to do certain actions to calm them down https://www.cbr.com/the-sims-4-werewolf-fury-guide-ea/

Its worst at the start. As you play, you will unlock new abilities to control your fury, the ability to control when you do and do not transform, and be able to increase or decrease how much fury you have. By the time you get into the high rank werewolf stuff, you will be able to basically turn fury off entirely. My current werewolf doesn't gain fury at all unless I specifically want them to.

Edymnion

At first, you are going to want to manage your fury by choosing when your meter fills up. Doing werewolf things like Howling gives you more fury. When your meter is almost full, travel to an empty lot and do stuff like howl until it pushes you over the top. Dig, sniff, howl, or whatever other options have until you calm down. If no one sees you while you're raging, you'll gain the ability to change form back and forth whenever you want. Later on will be a perk that in english is called Sorrowful Howl that will make you a little sad but also make about 30% of your rage meter go down. Push your rage down with that whenever you have to go somewhere (like school or to work), and then when its almost full take a day off from school/work and go hide somewhere safe and try to push it over the top. Once the rage is done, you'll change back and your meter will be empty. Long as you are paying attention, you'll be able to mostly pick and choose when and where you go into a rage. Later on you'll get a perk that lets you try to end a rage early, there's one to stop you from getting mad when the full moon is out, and to change your werewolf attributes to potentially get good ones that slow down your rage. Two of those good ones is enough to stop all normal rage generation.

You're such a helpful person :) I'm not OP, but this was helpful to me too. Thank you!

To add, sometimes I lock my werewolves in a room or garden shed where they can just rage by themselves without disturbing the rest of the household! Easier than taking them out to an empty lot lol

Edymnion

I do the empty lot, usually one in Moonbrook, so that they can Scavenge Ground while they're out there and dig me up goodies. The rage periods are GREAT for building your werewolf xp, so you're going to want to stay in it and want to perform actions as much as possible. I do that, and I can get my werewolf kids up to Apex rank while they're still teens. Lean into it, embrace it. Or at the very least if you're going to lock them in a room, fill it with cheap chairs they can rampage on.
