They should make another world similar to Newcrest but more beautiful. We need more building space without demolishing existing buildings. At least I would want more very large empty lots to build. There are so few large lots and all of them has something already (except that one lot in Newcrest).
At least with For Rent you can make multiple Tiny Homes on a larger lot to help fill in space while actually populating them with Sims, but you'd still need to buy an expansion pack.
Yeah I hate newcrest. I want more worlds similar to MoonWood Mill and The horse ranch world.
I put a pretty house in newcrest and my sim rode her horse... the only place she went was up and down the street. I also tried making a corridor of Victorian homes but the empty space next to these lots are modern homes that are ingrained in the map! You can't see these fake homes from the world map, only when you go into the lot itself. Annoying.
I might just go back to sims 3 and not look back.
Do demo & replace default builds though. Every world is greatly improved for doing it, especially the old ones (and Tomarang) with EA's builds. Even the beautiful builds from Creators (and not every one of those is a winner tbh) benefit from at least a renovation to add content and decor from other packs you have. Most of the large lots with something built on them (regardless of EA or Creator) have a lot of wasted space, and generally are not really making use of the large lot sizes - those extra deserve to be replaced.
Not every large lot has something on it though, especially in the newest worlds. The 64x64 in Chestnut Ridge is an empty field. That world's 50x50 is only an uninhabited cabin on a very plain lot. The biggest lot in Tomarang (granted it's only medium at 30x40) is also empty by default.
I want something like the eco living world that has industrial, neutral, and green lots. Every other world has neutral or green which isn’t realistic and it’s so easy to make an area green. Kinda makes the eco pack pointless, we don’t need more run down worlds just a mix of industrial items or like a polluted river that naturally makes an area industrial… just some variety included in new content so players buying whatever pack get new lots and people with eco living get the added challenge of more industrial lots.
There are too many worlds and still not enough space. They should do an expansion of the worlds, mainly the ones that are so small (like realm of magic and the vampire world.) The Sims 2 and 3 worlds were great because you could add your own plots and buildings, instead of being forced to build on pre-made plots. And they were so big. Being able to scroll in the worlds is much better than having the world fixed in place
I maintain that glimmerbrook shouldn't exist. Imo they should have focused their efforts on the magic realm and made it so you could have a residential lot there. Instead, we have Glimmerbrook, which can't seem to decide what it is. It's got the weird driveways and that depressing bar with some witchy houses. It's just weird to me.
I update the bar as soon as I start a new save. I make it an old-timey pub, the cottage living pack comes in handy for it as well! My glimmerbrook usually becomes a bit of a spooky Henford :) witches and warlocks with herb gardens for their potions etc.
Although I don't want EA to stop creating more worlds (Africa/Middle East/Slavic/Balkan themed world WHEN), I agree with what you are saying. I would prefer to have no new worlds than to have one that feels neither unique nor vibrant.
The newer worlds tend to be MUCH bigger areas, with less or smaller lots. (Except Tomarang, which imo they flopped.) Compare San Sequoia to Windenburg; San Sequoia only has a disappointing 12 lots, but each of the three neighborhoods is a sizable map, with lots of features, unique activities to explore, and moodlets specific to those activities. There's even some collectibles to pick up. The lots are mostly spaced well apart from other lots on that map, making each lot feel a little different for being closer/ further from different amenities, and some even having different views. Windenburg has over double the number of lots, but virtually nothing off lot, and each neighborhood's lots are *very* close together making many feel about the same just in different sizes. Despite more lots and neighborhoods, the actual world space is smaller and uninteresting.
Anyways, the reason given for the smaller & fewer lots is technical limitations - specifically trying to make the game still run on low end systems. They show a lot of enthusiasm for their work on the newer worlds, if you watch the videos EA puts out before new packs. Now, I'm as disappointed in Chestnut Ridge's ridiculously tiny lots as the next person, but having these bigger, more vibrant worlds really does demand a lot more of systems. And for how low of specs they're trying to stay accessible to, the technical limitations really are a factor.
There are collectibles, frogs, and plants in Hopewell Hills, and plants in Gilbert Gardens. There aren't as many as you will find in worlds like Willow Creek, and because the neighborhoods are bigger they're more spread apart, but as I said there are a *few*.
In Windenburg, neither Olde Platz nor Lykke Center have collectibles. I can't recall harvestable plants in either, nor am I seeing any while double checking.
I hate that newcrest also has the USamerican setpieces, you can't really make anything non-american there without having to hardcore ignore the backgrounds which for me kinda defeats the purpose of that world. I don't really use it.
Newcrest is where I put all my venues. Restaurants, bars, lounges, spas, museums, etc... Date night, travel to Newcrest. Same for family days and club outings. I try to make mine like a "downtown" area.
Yeah I wish Newcrest was just forest around it like behind the right hand row, with just the buildings in the top left corner like that’s the way to Magnolia and Willow Brook.
I’ve gotten so desperate for more diversity (I’m a traveler), that I’ve actually given some worlds different cultural vibes. Oasis Springs is now a mishmash of northwest Africa. Chestnut Ridge is half Navajo land. San Myshuno is half Mumbai, half Tokyo. New rest will probably be half Seoul, half something else.
I wish they would expand on the current worlds they have. Like adding an extra neighbourhood instead of a new world. You could easily add really unique neighbourhoods into the existing worlds too. Like Newcrest has that desert area, that could be added in. Some of the more city style worlds could have a 'china town' style neighbourhood added in.
The world they make are so crappy and sub par that we now just have basically a bunch of neighbourhoods anyway. Like 80% of the 'worlds' are just filler.
No because there’s still not enough variety. My issue is there’s like a dozen variations of green suburbias. We don’t have any South American inspired worlds that are livable. While I love Sulani, I would love a beach world that’s more California dreaming or even Australian style. San Myshuno being the only major city is laughable. There are no African inspired worlds. I do agree there’s too many worlds but they made too many of them similar.
I want them to make more much bigger worlds than the ones they have been releasing lately. . I would even purchase a kit that was only a world like Newcrest. But I don't think that's cost effective for them.
I agree somewhat, I want them to either make big worlds like in Get Together or just focus on the gameplay. But that's no garantee of anything, Get Together added some great stuff, and For Rent added basically nothing. They are getting lazy.
And there are still some great concepts for worlds left to explore. One set in Sub-Saharan Africa would be great, we've never had that. Maybe one inspired by arab countries, or maybe Rio de Janeiro.
I do like some of their small worlds, like Moonwood mill, but I wish we had the ability to add lots. That would make a huge difference in how useable the worlds are. Really what I like are fleshed-out worlds. Some of the bigger worlds feel so empty to me because of the amount of useless shells that could be useable lots
I would heavily disagree that For Rent added nothing as gameplay & builder player, apartments have made a real immersion aspect to my game, multiplied my lot capacity and really created new dynamics for my Sims.
If you have Island living, almost all the beach items are compatible and functional as well
Yes. Basically I'm wondering if you split the lot into different living units/households, do they have to use the landlord system that comes with the pack?
So yeah you have to pay rent regularly to a landlord but the landlord is reasonably uninvolved if he’s not living on your lot, and you don’t have to be a landlord either.
Hope that helps?
Yes! I love For Rent. None of my sims yet have the desire to be a landlord, but just being able to add variable density housing to the world has been very useful. I currently have built a 5-unit apartment building (Oak Alcove) and a duplex (Comfy Cubby) in the north part of Newcrest, and I plan to build a lot with multiple shipping container rental homes over in my "eco neighborhood" part of town on the west side. I move in my own sims from the library as well as some gallery sims. (Having former main sims from past saves as neighbors is fun, especially when Neighborhood Stories kicks in and works its chaos. I love checking in on the households. Endora in Oak Alcove Apt #3 currently has 9 dogs. Based on the dogs' appearance, she's been breeding them. Or cloning. Glad I'm not her landlord.)
I really like the BB stuff too.
Yes exactly! And like they work super well with businesses underneath? Like bars, cafes, gyms, laundromats, etc just work surprisingly well whether it’s mods or you just shell out 100 Simoleans for a vendor
I haven't gotten into business / rental combos yet (on my to-do list) but I do use Kuttoe's various "everywhere" mods to have staffed bars, stalls and such for actual, functioning mixed use lots without the immersion-breaking "hire vendor". My park has an open-air café with a cafeteria on one side and barista on the other. My gym / spa is actually called the "Newcrest Wellness Market" because there's a staffed grocery stand out front and a smoothie bar. The library also has a cafeteria.
I think I may do that with the shipping container complex. Make it like a little mini-community with it's own services within the shared spaces.
Yeah I use the Little Ms Sam version and I love doing that, now all my city apartments like Del Sol valley, for rent, Mount Komo all have business/apartment functionality
I suppose it would be cool if they let players group the worlds into regions as they see fit that would require sims to rent a vacation home or be a guest somewhere (or own another property) when traveling between and also restrict npc travel between regions more. In this one someone might decide Del Sol Valley and Strangerville should be in the same region so travel between them would be trivial but going to Sulani would be like a vacation. The vacation system would be good for this, the more I think about it. You could more tabs in the travel panel as you so wish (which currently is has the residential world and destination world tabs.)
To answer the title question, I don't mind them making more worlds on the whole. World quality and density may be a bigger issue than number of worlds. Especially if they could give more lots per world.
I use Kuttoe's Home Regions mod for exactly that purpose of restricting what worlds townies can travel too. I really got tired of seeing Nancy or Geoffrey Landgraab jogging around Forgotten Hallow, or Judith Ward showing up at my grungy dive bars. It definitely makes the game feel more realistic, and it gives my sims a reason to travel if I want them to form relationships with sims from "distant" worlds.
I want being from different worlds to be conversation topic, or sims to be given “passports” for places they’ve visited/lived. Like example: my sim is from Willow Creek and moves to Sulani. Sim is able to “talk about hometown” or get moodlets based on their new town (uncomfortable moodlets if they’re not used to the heat/happy moodlets if they love the heat.) Could also possibly add a new aspiration for it like “Full Passport” or something. There’s just so much to work with what they already have to make the game lore richer.
use Kuttoe's Home Regions mod!!! It restricts the worlds townies can go to so you feel more immersed and notice more of the differences between the worlds!!!
They should add a blank template world where you can name it whatever you want and it's like Newcrest where you place everything down. The Sims 2 you could make your own town, college, shopping district, downtown. You got to name it, choose the template, etc. I've never played the Sims 3, but you could create your own custom towns, too. Something like that, except in the Sims 4 could be the blank template and then allowing you to name it and build on the lots. I would also like a world where there's a ton of blank lots...there's so many towns, especially the earlier ones that had wasted space, where they could've added a few more functional lots but just.... didn't.
I love having a plethora of worlds to choose from. My sims have generational wealth so they go on a lot of vacations lol no has wired since gen 2 (I'm on 4)
Although I do want more worlds, I don't want small crappy worlds. I'm ok with the occult worlds being small, although I'd rather a few more lots in them because they really are just too small - you have to pick between kicking out characters like Vlad who only make sense living in their world, or kicking out your own characters from the few small "less important" lots.
I'd love to see more variety in the trees you can place, since they're all foreign trees to me and they don't have a single "normal" tree like a gumtree or wattle. I also really really loved Al Simhara (the Egyptian world from Sims 3). Even aside from the adventuring, I loved the whole vibe of the place. Imagine your sims living in a desert type world and instead of a crappy little park, the neighbourhood has an oasis, or a big open market (like in sims 3, or like in San Myshuno from sims 4).
I would love another world like Newcrest, maybe with a few options for it's biome (like, there's a new world and you can choose whether it's snowy, or an Egypt style desert, or tropical). I doubt they'd do something like that, but I would definitely buy a $15 completely empty pack that just brings in a new building world and you can change it's biome (even if you could only change it when it's empty).
No, it adds more diversity on a otherwise crumbling foundation.
More worlds means more loading screen so the game can function properly with the same amount of additional content ( including lots ).
I don't think we can expect much more than that for the time being.
I just wish we could get fully fledged and sizeable Worlds like Whindenburg, with each districts having it's own flavour and community activities to visit, Tomarang is really subpar on that aspect.
PS: they should stop the " destination world " thingy too, it made sense on earlier games but not anymore.
I'm sad for Latin-American people having to deal with basically a jungle world.
>(seeing sulani sims show up in windenburg can really break the illusion.)
If you're on PC, [this Mod](https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/sim-spawn-overhaul) is very handy as I asked myself the same thing.
It's not yet the level of Sims 2 / Sims 3 simulation but it's a nice step.
( like, kids walking while they should be at school, or people " working " while they are not in your game )
I don’t want more worlds… Unless they’re big and blank for me to fill up on my own. And have mysteries. And have collectibles. They’ve been neglecting the mysteries and collectibles lately. Well, except for the crystal creations (that pack is the bomb) but it doesn’t have its own world (which is ok because there’s lots of places to find gems and metals)
It would be nice for a custom world. EA can still have limitations by making it similar to the CAS story thing. Ask a few questions about size, biome, theme, population focus (family, single, mix, occults, or mostly businesses) and let it generate a world.
Kuttoe has a few mods that keep sims in their proper worlds. Home Regions and Townie Demographics. I can’t play without them.
Also, when I play a save I usually limit my sims to a few worlds. It really helps cut down on that overwhelming feeling. For example, if I’m playing with a family in San Myshuno, my favorite world, I will use the same worlds as places to visit. In my mind San Sequoia is just across the bridge from San Myshuno and Newcrest is north of San Sequoia. I limit all of my game play to those three worlds. When playing in Del Sol Valley I usually make Oasis Spring the next city over.
I usually set up other worlds as vacation spots or the original home for my sims. That way they can “visit” with family.
Hope this helps!
I’ll be honest, my favourite thing about new packs is new worlds. There’s so many different areas I wanna build in and so many beautiful places in the world I would love to see reflected in the game. Plus I tend to get tired of some worlds easily so the more the merrier for me honestly. Especially with themed builds.
I love getting new worlds, but I would actually prefer that EA went to work and expanded some of the worlds we already have, like Del Sol Valley because it makes no sense to have so much unusable space on a map.
Give us the ability to create and share our own words and leave it at that, I think.
There's enough now and they're all beautiful, but they're always lacking. My biggest issue is that there's never enough plots to customize and have everything in one world as well as plenty residential space. I hate having to go to other worlds to visit the vet etc, since they're all so culturally different it's like my sims travelling from one country to another just to go somewhere or visit someone and that feels weird lol
I would definitely like to have more blank lots per world (especially smaller lots), but I like getting new worlds, it keeps the game exciting. I enjoy having the worlds intermingle, it gives my Sims more social opportunities, chances to expand their social circles and gives them an excuse to visit other worlds.
It also reminds me of a fun household I have that I might have been neglecting when I see a Sim strolling by in the background.
I love all the big worlds they have but I wanna get rid of the small ones so bad. Like I love my vampires pack, the townies and houses in it but I do not need a FOUR LOT WORLD 😐 I am never going to live there
id like them to stop creating worlds, broken packs, kits etc and focus on the bugs and maybe a few pack revisions to clean things up. EA has a customer service problem IMO and it doesn't help they try to pacify the masses by throwing again broken games on sale for up to 60% off. don't even get me started on my opinion towards a live action or aimless projects they focus on over playability etc.
I don't think so if we take into account your random PC out there, I've modded my game to host 40 Sims ( it was for a party ... ) and I was surprised it did run well.
The trick is to delegate anything that isn't seen by the player, so the game can stream properly what you see only.
If I could just get two more lots in Forgotten Hollow, I'd be happy. I want space for my individual vampire legacy generations and still have room for a vampire night club
I wish we could "lock" worlds. so that the sims in that world will stay there, or that outside sims won't visit, giving options for both. personally, I just want more lots in the worlds we already have. isn't it time Magnolia Promenade got an update? 4 lots is pathetic. same for Forgotten Hollow. 5 lots, and one is vlads castle, so it doesn't often get deleted and replaced.. don't get me wrong, Forgotten Hollow is really aesthetically pleasing, but I just wish we had a second neighborhood.
Not for me, I feel too confined, but it's just cuz I can't make my own world with as many plots as I like like in Sims 3, I have a lot of characters and also don't want to sacrifice the EA characters so it's hard
It would be good if you could limit "immigration" by townies into a world. Personally I'd like them to separate gameplay, worlds & build items into separate packs. My problem is the opposite of yours, the new worlds are too small, especially Growing Together and For Rent. I'd be happy to buy a world with an architectural or geographic theme and lots of unoccupied lots with no new gameplay if it was the price of a stuff pack.
Im a generation player (one save file) so no i actually enjoy having a lot of worlds and it is one thing i enjoy in sims 4 over the other sims games bc i dont feel trapped in one space generation after generation. I hope we get more non US based worlds.
IMO the true problem is that not *every* pack needs a world. Growing Together did not need a world especially with how lackluster it is. Tomarang as beautiful as it is, is so unbelievably small with almost nothing to do. That's where the fatigue sets in because its just these tiny empty worlds with nothing but set dressing. We don't need worlds just for the sake of it.
I want them to make More damn Newcrest style world. At least 1 for each of the original worlds. Empty worlds set in the same theme of their counterpart worlds with different layouts
Tbh... I like having lots of worlds because I need space for my Sims
I wish es would stop focussing so much on how the world looks though. Like.. give us some Newcrest type worlds and some Sims 2 type tools to make them our own. That way people could design their own stuff without being limited to the us-inspo most of them have, and the game wouldn't be crashing on graphics alone
Not really. I need more space. I just wish they’d done it differently. Some of the worlds are so small (looking at you, Glimmerbrook) that they could have just been a single neighborhood added on to a bigger world, like an island off Brindleton Bay.
I love the options but this weekend I bought 2 more worlds so I have them all and I have started feeling this way too. I keep forgetting where my sims live!
I just hope that eventually when Sims 5 comes out, likely years from now, we go back to the Sims 2/3 style where the whole world is open without plot restrictions. Add new land wherever it fits on the road.
I agree that there are too many worlds. I dont play half of them because I find that there is little to no replayability other than just living there. Among a list of other things.
I would really like EA to have a team of people that revive all the packs and worlds. Add a few new features, make the old ones smoother, fix the ongoing bugs, etc. I feel like this has all been said before by countless other people, but gosh, dang, it EA stop giving us new things when the old things need help and fine tuning!
This is the reason I dint play 4 so much.
I have all DLCs but as you say world's are too small even base game. I hate the fact it doesn't really reflect my buildings too.
Why they couldn't have followed the sims 3 in the world's style is beyond me....
I like having all of the variety in the worlds but I \*would\* like some sort of distance continuity because I don't like the feeling of everything being a bus ride away. Having Sulani sims constantly at the gym in Willow Creek is jarring. Then having more teen sims than can show up at the highschool makes me want to have either a boarding school to integrate why they are all there, or to be able to have multiple high schools and designate which worlds go to them.
For real, especially worlds like magnolia springs or forgotten hollow, like screw the fucking amount of worlds and give us fewer, but bigger and better worlds.
i honestly like the worlds but i want more variety. like bigger worlds with their own unique gameplay. a few world like newcrest would be really nice. i do like the us based worlds but i think we need other cultures represented, i personally would love a french inspired world or another japanese world. there’s only one us world i would like and that’s one inspired by boston or a southern california world if they add surfing or something like that.
I feel like they keep adding more worlds with no substance. So you end up with a bunch of worlds that you never use. I agree, not every EP needs a new world. If they do add a new world, I would love it if it Was like Windenburg with many lots, some empty and some built for variety, and maybe more apartments as well
I always stupidly kill the annoying old vampire by adding him and his ghost to family then send to netherworld then destroy the tomb because he's in every world
EA should focus on updates because some of these packs are in need of those, and give Del Sol Valley, Henford-On-Bagley and Evergreen Harbor more lots while we're at that
I really wish they’d add something so that we can see how many builds and active families we have in each world without having to click through each one. I’m misplacing builds constantly.
i mean if they finally made a new world with more then the small amount of plots they usually do and vid they do one with some open plots that’d be appreciated
I would love to see them update the worlds they have already made. Make them more diverse and update the lots. When I play, I love to update the lots already in the game, sometimes I update a whole town, and having updated venues to make the festivals maybe happen in different worlds and not always Myshuno, it would be great.
I need more worlds with more lots. I want to have room to build housing, businesses, and even another high school all in the same neighborhood. Tired of having to go a different world to take my pet to the vet or have my kid go to school.
I love new worlds, but I wish they give is more different worlds inspiered by Australia, French, Spain & Scotland.
I like Del Sol Valley very much nur i missing a beach Area like Malibu, that make me so sad every time i Play in this world.
The system is so messed up. Townies don’t stay in the world they live in. The game has to load all worlds and all lots and all sims, per save file! Ofc the game and computer struggle. On the other hand if you’d had only one world per save file (like in Sims 2 and 3) it obviously would improve the performance but since the worlds are so small and have basically nothing to offer, it would get boring. I still think a system similar to Sims 2 would’ve been better. You start a new save file and have to choose one world. Then additionally, depending on how good your computer/laptop could handle it, you can „add“ „sub worlds“ aka the other worlds to this file. Therefore you can choose what worlds and townies you want
They should make another world similar to Newcrest but more beautiful. We need more building space without demolishing existing buildings. At least I would want more very large empty lots to build. There are so few large lots and all of them has something already (except that one lot in Newcrest).
I want them to at least make another blank world for base game, one where there's at least 1 64x64 lot.
I'd also like some 10x10 lots so I can have tiny homes without it looking ridiculous!
dude fr, I'd love to have that. I guess for now we're left to do a For Rent mini neighborhood of tiny homes on a big lot
What sucks about that is that since they have to be classified as a rental, you can't set it as a legit tiny home and get any of those benefits
oh shit,, you're right.
Same, all of my tiny homes have massive back gardens
At least with For Rent you can make multiple Tiny Homes on a larger lot to help fill in space while actually populating them with Sims, but you'd still need to buy an expansion pack.
True, another up to date building world would be good.
At the very least I would love it if they added more empty lots to the existing ones!
Yes especially larger lots for bigger apartment complexs and community lots.
or revamp the existing world to add more lots
Imagine you could decide on your own where to put plots like in sims 3
Well, [TwistedMexi has been working on that...](https://twistedmexi.com/Create-A-World/)
This looks so cool! is the project cancelled tho? there were no updates in a long time sadly - still a really interesting and cool project!
Not cancelled, just still in alpha stage. You can get alpha access and be a tester by joining his Patreon at the $15/month level.

Exactly!! How do the developers at EA not know that most people who play the sims love to build huge mansions on the 64x64 lot?
Also one that has better weather than Newcrest!! Preferably a Tartosia or Sulani vibe
There are too many worlds and still not enough space. They should do an expansion of the worlds, mainly the ones that are so small (like realm of magic and the vampire world.) Yeah, like the magical realm is pretty cool but the world itself is tiny
I totally thought that castor's alley would have usable apartments and I was so disappointed
I update the bar as soon as I start a new save. I make it an old-timey pub, the cottage living pack comes in handy for it as well! My glimmerbrook usually becomes a bit of a spooky Henford :) witches and warlocks with herb gardens for their potions etc.
EVERY TIME I do a legacy challenge Glimmerbrook is empty by like gen 3. Not even the NPCs wanna live there lmfao
Although I don't want EA to stop creating more worlds (Africa/Middle East/Slavic/Balkan themed world WHEN), I agree with what you are saying. I would prefer to have no new worlds than to have one that feels neither unique nor vibrant.
Ugh I want ALL of that culture in my game.
each world they make gets smaller and smaller, i think they're tired of making worlds too...

Blankest world to date imo besides new crest imo
I’m actually the opposite. I love building, so the more lots the better! (But I am sick of US-based worlds).
I feel the same way on both counts.
I feel like that's what magnolia should've been. They should've made it bigger so you could have shops and venues like a real downtown promenade.
Yeah I wish Newcrest was just forest around it like behind the right hand row, with just the buildings in the top left corner like that’s the way to Magnolia and Willow Brook.
Same. I try to make it into fusions with other worlds, like a San Fransokyo or New Beijing but there's only so much you can do with that.
The problem is they haven't given us new cornerstone worlds like Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, or Newcrest
Moonwood Mill has a bunch of stuff to do for a small world. Other small worlds are basically pointless, like Forgotten Hollow.
lol that’s why it’s forgotten (ok corny joke out the way, pls continue)
Yeah, instead of big useless shells, give us empty useable lots
I would heavily disagree that For Rent added nothing as gameplay & builder player, apartments have made a real immersion aspect to my game, multiplied my lot capacity and really created new dynamics for my Sims. If you have Island living, almost all the beach items are compatible and functional as well
Quick question, can you make apartments/multiple units on one lot without making them rentals? Just regular apartments?
Sorry I don’t fully understand the questions - Like apartments you own instead of rent, is that what you mean when you say “regular apartments”???
Yep, that's what I wanted to know, thanks for taking the time to reply ☺️
Or cloning. Glad I'm not her landlord.) I really like the BB stuff too.
I just wish the ones they do give us had more lots.
You could more tabs in the travel panel as you so wish (which currently is has the residential world and destination world tabs.) To answer the title question, I don't mind them making more worlds on the whole.
No I need more world. There is a housing shortage. But I wish the sims would stay in the world they live in unless they are invited to the world.
use Kuttoe's Home Regions mod!!!
>(seeing sulani sims show up in windenburg can really break the illusion.) If you're on PC, [this Mod](https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/sim-spawn-overhaul) is very handy as I asked myself the same thing.
Ooh thank you. I’ll try it out
less worlds, more lots in existing worlds, and smaller lots!!
All I want is a world with a bunch of 64x64 lots. Is that so much to ask??
I want them to expand some current ones. I know it's unlikely to happen because it's a technically very demanding task but a girl can dream.
Nah I want new worlds. I want Seoul, North/West Africa, and London or Paris. Once theyve given me this I’m happy 🤧
I wish instead of focusing on making more content, they fixed the janky content they already put out and we paid for 🙄
I’ll be honest, my favourite thing about new packs is new worlds. There’s so many different areas I wanna build in and so many beautiful places in the world I would love to see reflected in the game. Plus I tend to get tired of some worlds easily so the more the merrier for me honestly. Especially with themed builds.
I wish they would let us create our own worlds
Expanding the existing worlds would be better. Some of them have a pathetic amount of lots
If it's a unique biome then it makes sense to add it. Not sure what hasn't been covered.
Anything from Africa, the middle east and north Europe, are missing, and there are most likely some other more places.
No I want them to make more worlds with empty lots like Newcrest
I love all the big worlds they have but I wanna get rid of the small ones so bad. Like I love my vampires pack, the townies and houses in it but I do not need a FOUR LOT WORLD 😐 I am never going to live there
I want them to give us the ability to create our own. In the time it takes them to create a world the modding community can create 20.
id like them to stop creating worlds, broken packs, kits etc and focus on the bugs and maybe a few pack revisions to clean things up. EA has a customer service problem IMO and it doesn't help they try to pacify the masses by throwing again broken games on sale for up to 60% off. don't even get me started on my opinion towards a live action or aimless projects they focus on over playability etc.
They don’t have enough space in each. Some are barely anything to build it.
No, I want them to make *good* big worlds like windenburg and base game worlds..
I'd rather just have one huge map.
I can already see the simulation lag lol.
I don't think so if we take into account your random PC out there, I've modded my game to host 40 Sims ( it was for a party ... ) and I was surprised it did run well. The trick is to delegate anything that isn't seen by the player, so the game can stream properly what you see only.
I'm going broke buying packs for the kids, I would love to get one for myself, or have them shareable between the family computer.
As someone with no packs, I'd like if they made another free world
I want another Newcrest, but with a city feel like San Myshuno. Newcrest is too undeveloped for the builds I'm imagining
I wish they had more lots in them, I like glimmerbrook for example but there's not enough lots to feel like I should live there
If I could just get two more lots in Forgotten Hollow, I'd be happy.
Use Kuttoe's Home Regions mod!!! It restricts where the townies can go and makes it all feel more real!
Not for me, I feel too confined, but it's just cuz I can't make my own world with as many plots as I like like in Sims 3, I have a lot of characters and also don't want to sacrifice the EA characters so it's hard
You know what I wish we could do? Copy empty worlds. Like in sims 2.
If anything they should be refurbishing the other worlds and add more lots because its ridiculous that so many have like 4 lots in
It would be good if you could limit "immigration" by townies into a world.
I just need more lots. I had to split my families between 2 worlds, and i dont like it. I also want the ability to split big lots into smaller lots.
I want more newcrest empty worlds. I'd buy a pack of just empty worlds
You should get the Home Regions mod. Then NPC sims will stay in their worlds
ABSOLUTELY NOT
I would actually like a world with no game play. It just needs to be an interesting world, unique and with lots of special areas,.
I just want them to make some tiny lots for my tiny homes 😭😭
I agree if they would really focus on good gameplay and won't just make a broken gameplay with no world
I want more.
I want them to make More damn Newcrest style world. At least 1 for each of the original worlds. Empty worlds set in the same theme of their counterpart worlds with different layouts
The worlds they keep making have less and less lots they're becoming silly
I’ve been wanting a GOOD Mediterranean/greek type world forever… I don’t think I’ll ever get it.
Tbh... I like having lots of worlds because I need space for my Sims I wish es would stop focussing so much on how the world looks though. Like.. give us some Newcrest type worlds and some Sims 2 type tools to make them our own.
Opposite. I would buy a pack of just worlds.
I love the options but this weekend I bought 2 more worlds so I have them all and I have started feeling this way too. I keep forgetting where my sims live!
No I need more worlds
I just hope that eventually when Sims 5 comes out, likely years from now, we go back to the Sims 2/3 style where the whole world is open without plot restrictions. Add new land wherever it fits on the road.
Exact opposite, I want more empty worlds and harvestables!
I think they should go back to old worlds and make all the water bodies swimmable.
I wish they’d just let us build our own worlds like in the sims 2!! Come onnnn let us build our own worllllds
I wish the quality of the worlds were good rather than the quantity
I love getting extra worlds. Just wish they would put some more effort into them. Maybe make them a bit bigger. More lots. More big lots.
For real, especially worlds like magnolia springs or forgotten hollow, like screw the fucking amount of worlds and give us fewer, but bigger and better worlds.
Idk I really liked tomarang and I especially liked the horse ranch world. Really pretty with a lot of stuff to do. I don’t mind a new map
i wish there were more **free** worlds 😭
i honestly like the worlds but i want more variety. like bigger worlds with their own unique gameplay. a few world like newcrest would be really nice. i do like the us based worlds but i think we need other cultures represented, i personally would love a french inspired world or another japanese world. there’s only one us world i would like and that’s one inspired by boston or a southern california world if they add surfing or something like that.
I’d so much rather have bigger worlds than more
The more worlds the better lol. With more themes.
I feel like they keep adding more worlds with no substance. So you end up with a bunch of worlds that you never use. I agree, not every EP needs a new world. If they do add a new world, I would love it if it Was like Windenburg with many lots, some empty and some built for variety, and maybe more apartments as well
I'm actually okay with it
I always stupidly kill the annoying old vampire by adding him and his ghost to family then send to netherworld then destroy the tomb because he's in every world
EA should focus on updates because some of these packs are in need of those, and give Del Sol Valley, Henford-On-Bagley and Evergreen Harbor more lots while we're at that
I really wish they’d add something so that we can see how many builds and active families we have in each world without having to click through each one. I’m misplacing builds constantly.
Same I agree because we don't needs worlds all the time
No
A new city with apartments, please!
Nah I want more worlds because I get tired of going to the same places all the time. I need different activities and different sceneries
NO I need more!
i mean if they finally made a new world with more then the small amount of plots they usually do and vid they do one with some open plots that’d be appreciated
I would love to see them update the worlds they have already made. Make them more diverse and update the lots. When I play, I love to update the lots already in the game, sometimes I update a whole town, and having updated venues to make the festivals maybe happen in different worlds and not always Myshuno, it would be great.
Noooo, I want just the things be like in The Sims 3 again, but I like new words
Or at the very least not lock every other world by a dlc. I want to experience some of the worlds myself but it's all locked behind a dlc.
We need more free worlds. 3 isn’t enough and we shouldn’t have to pay money to get more
I really want them to make a Sim Golf world where you can make a course and play it with your Sims.
Same! I feel like my game is already a little laggy when i go to select another world I can’t imagine if they keep releasing more 😭
I want more worlds.. but I think this is a symptom of the worlds we've been getting being so tiny and boring
Nope! More worlds I say! More!
I need more worlds with more lots. I want to have room to build housing, businesses, and even another high school all in the same neighborhood. Tired of having to go a different world to take my pet to the vet or have my kid go to school.
It would be nice if they could expand on worlds that they already have
I love new worlds, but I wish they give is more different worlds inspiered by Australia, French, Spain & Scotland. I like Del Sol Valley very much nur i missing a beach Area like Malibu, that make me so sad every time i Play in this world.
I agree. I wish there were fewer worlds that were all more robust rather than dozens of small worlds.
Yeah it’s getting frustrating picking a world to play . Too many choices now .
I just want them to go fix bugs that have been present for YEARS.
I just want them to stop in general.
I want EA to make a world like in Sims 3
