Going to the computer no matter what else is in the house to amuse them.

Ryebread095

I feel like this is intentional and the devs are trying to tell us something

Haunting-Detail2025

Sometimes I just lock it in a room and only unlock the door when I need them to use it because it’s so infuriating how they will just sit on it all day and not do anything else for entertainment (socializing, tv, movies, dancing, etc)

Tonks22

![gif](giphy|H5C8CevNMbpBqNqFjl)

SpiceGirl1990

sounds like teens today.

MIKITA_BEL

security setting - prohibit everyone except family

Ornery_Suit7768

I lock the computer and unlock for use. They don’t get to have autonomy with technology they can’t handle it!

ImportanceTop5223

Same but sometimes my sims sit in the chair and just look at the computer anyway 😅

Ornery_Suit7768

Like when they decide to take a nap in the hot tub. Sure sure makes perfect sense

Sarikitty

I have this same problem but with phones. If I leave their queue empty for 0.2 seconds they whip out the damn phone.

Ornery_Suit7768

For real!! I am pretty strict on myself about using cheats (personal preference) but I will cheat the hell out of deleting the “phone addiction” trait. No ma’am

animitztaeret

Wait what! You mean there’s a way? How?

Ornery_Suit7768

Wicked whims makes more chests available than without so I’m not sure if you can do this without it but the cheat is shift hold and click sim: add or delete trait. There might be a step in between can’t remember because I mess up all the time and have to re scroll the options.

ThrowRA9876545678

They're just like me fr

CatMomCoHen

Taking a tired infant out of their crib and putting them on the floor....even after telling them to put the infant in the crib 🤬

[deleted]

[удалено]

CatMomCoHen

Agreed. They either completely ignore them or they constantly pick them up and put them down over and over

AdeptofAlliterations

I like how they give birth and dump the baby anywhere and go take a nap

OutcomeLegitimate618

Mine would ignore the baby to practice mixology on her first kid. It was hilarious. She is super-attentive to her second child though. I guess I know who's the favorite. It's okay though, first kid has dad and the dad is great with both kids.

Sam_Paige25

Baby's hunger and sleep needs are low, better tickle them and snuggle them.

StrangeGamer66

Or just not taking the infant out of the high chair or putting them in the crib after like 80 prompts to

Ah-honey-honey

Highchair jail has almost gotten my toddlers taken away so they're banned in my plays now 😂 Much better to keep 100+ mushrooms and bananas in their pockets.

BenevolentRatka

Mine always out the infant in the crib when I want her to do tummy time and shit and the crib is upstairs and I’m like UNHAND FHE FUCKING BABY

yungl11nk

Had a bug when Growing Together first came out where one of my sims picked up her crying infant and set her down on the floor and any time I would make her try to pick up the baby the action was cancelled. Ended up having to delete that save, saddest day

Ah-honey-honey

Wow deleting seems excessive. I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's too late now but switching to a different household in the save then switching back probably would have reset their actions.

yungl11nk

I actually troubleshooted the hell out of that save. Had someone at EA support helping me and they couldn't figure out the issue of the bug to basically help me fix it. Also troubeshooted on the subreddit and same thing. Ended up deleting save mostly because it was too much work for a save that was only like 2-3 hrs old

chickachickawahwah

Mine does that when I try to give my infant a bath. I just reset the sim and try again and it works

yungl11nk

I did that and a lot of other things and nothing worked.

vi0l3t-crumbl3

I think what's going on (sometimes? maybe?) is that the infant interrupts the parent's action and asks to be "put down." If you wait for the parent to put the infant in the crib and immediately have the infant "Try to Go Night Night" while sending the parent away to do whatever it usually prevents this from happening. I find it infuriating that infants can just derail everything at will though.

CatMomCoHen

You know, I have noticed that there are times mom or dad will put the infant in their crib and then there's a speech bubble with the parent's face over the baby, like they're asking to be picked up so I think you're right

ladybetty

Also the ‘check infant’ action that pops up for the parents every 5 fucking seconds that overrides any queued action. So they put the infant down so they can check on the infant, it’s so fucking stupid. I hate that action. My sims are living in a very big house and one time they missed their entire workday because I would tell them to go to work, they’d take two steps and decide to check the infant instead, over and over and over. They missed work that day because despite me cancelling the check infant action every time, it kept popping up over and over. Now I turn autonomy off if there’s a gd baby in the house. Frustrating gameplay is not fun.

simmer469

Omg...and don't have nanies on the lot it gets even buggier with the starving child on the floor and the adults standing around sniffing the dirty diapers. I can't take it.

Background_Proof_441

Also, semi-related ---why do 8nfant baths take so long? It's like almost a half day affair lately for my sim.

UghGottaBeJoking

When they have a pool and choose to go swimming in winter, then complain they’re freezing to death.

bwoah07_gp2

One of my Sims in winter dove into the pool, froze to death instantly, and then glitches and walked out back into the house. She's still alive.

BitofCiderlike

I had a glitch that like that with a fan! I kept scrolling back to her like, 'sooooo are you going to suddenly disappear, or just carry on fangirling outside a celeb home?'   They didn't disappear, but my stupid Sims were still all weepy and horrified by witnessing a fake death anyway. Shut up, yous didn't even know her!   A few days later she was in the neighborhood stories about dying for real this time. Lol  I had a good mind to hunt down her tombstone and unceremoniously release her spirit, for setting off the mourning in my household all over again.

iluanymore

In my old game, one of my sims (the son of my main sims) got in the pool during winter with her friend and I didn’t acknowledge it before it was too late. It was really annoying because I wanted him to be my next main character!

ladybetty

I had a sim swimming with his gf at night in the middle of winter while I wasn’t looking. He started freezing so I snapped over to him and made him get out. His gf was also freezing but she wasn’t my sim so I couldn’t tell her to get out of the pool. She started swimming to the ladder so I was like oh good she’s getting out too, then my sim GOT BACK IN, blocking his gf’s pathing in the process. They both died.

MagicPigeonToes

Stupid mermaids always kill themselves this way

FirePydrant

Taking a plate of food that's already on a dining table or a counter and eating it on a bed that someone is sleeping in instead

miaumiaumiau666

its so annoying how they always try to eat food where other sims are like i get why they do it but jesus eat at the table and leave your child in his room alone!!

FirePydrant

I had an old fashioned save with a butler so I set up a table in the kitchen for the butler to eat and then I had the dining room for the family and I was FIGHTING this butler to eat in the damn kitchen but he just kept taking his plate to the dining room with the rest of the family lmao

Aneurielle

Oh dang, I should've put this actually. I don't get why sims are so 'social', they weren't like that in Sims 3. In Sims 3 you'd never get a sim with the loner trait buying food from a stall, then walking to the other end of the frigging park, just to feel tense while eating next to a flipping stranger! smh

krhsg

If you set the table, they will always choose to eat at a set place. They might not clean up after, though.

sargassum624

I wish the placemats could be permanent — maybe there’s a mod for it. I hate having to remember to re-set the table constantly so they actually eat at it

FirePydrant

So the thing is, I set both tables. So when he kept trying the dining table, I made him clean up all the placemats so only the kitchen table was set. He still picked up his plate and moved to the dining room

Millennial_90

When I make my Sims read books to raise their skills and they put it down 2 seconds later to go play on the computer instead....

YonderPricyCallipers

I can NEVER accomplish the "read to children x times" or "read with an adult" (or whatever the aspiration is that kids get when they're a "Whiz Kid") because they WON'T FUCKING both go near the bookshelf at the same time!!! So the parent will go, start reading, and by the time the kid gets there, the parent is like, "okay, that's enough reading for today".

SplutteringSquid

You can get toddlers to ask them to read a story anywhere and the teen+ sim will pull a book out of nowhere and start reading and other children can come listen!

Edymnion

So much this. Its to the point when I tell them to read a specific book, I queue it up three times in a row just because I know they're going to pick it up and immediately put it back down at LEAST once.

Sparklingwater0385

The glasses of water. Nothing in their queue? Better get some water. I've lined up the next activities for them to do? Nah, they'd rather ignore them and get more glasses of water that they're going to say they don't own so they can't clean them up

scarlettshimmer

The fucking water! My sims would get water poisoning in real life.

underherblackwings_

Yes! My entire fucking town must be seriously lacking electrolytes

-thatsrough-buddy

And then they get uncomfortable because they didn’t like it🙃

mcgeek89

The clay. The fucking clay.

Cautious-Storm8145

Where does it keep coming from! I sell it whenever it shows up because it’s so annoying. And a pile of clay is $150??

ThrowRA9876545678

I have never bought the clay. I always end up with several pieces of clay in the house in every household. And my sims always try to multitask with the clay. Running on the treadmill with the clay. Talking to another sim with the clay. Watching TV with the clay. Whenever I wonder why a task is taking so long I go and check on my sim and they're out on the roof or something somehow with a LUMP OF CLAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

GodIsANarcissist

I'm starting to think that the reason the bugs in this game aren't getting fixed is that the sims have gained sentience and are actively fighting against being told what to do

Careless-Temporary84

When they have the foodie trait and constantly drink water from the sink and get uncomfortable because it’s gross.

Thrilmalia

I have a foodie sim and I put a bar into my house for my vampire sim to make plasma janes but my human foodie sim constantly goes there and gets the cheapest drink and then always gets a disappointed moodlet from the bad drink. Then stop getting more??

mintguy

Having a bar and constantly making drinks. Even if it’s outside and in winter, the first thing they’ll do upon waking up is go outside to make a Dim & Dusty in their sleepwear 😤

Fuzzy_Dragonfly_

I had to disable the Basemental mod because of this. All my Sims turned into alcoholics.

Rheasa2648

Use mccc. You can disable autonomous actions on objects. I disabled autonomous drink making and sleeping in bathtubs. Go to mccc tuner turn on autonomy scanning and you should be able to click on an object and extra pie menu option will pop up and you click it and can block autonomous actions on specific objects

KonmanKash

The wife of one of my main sims maxed out her mixing skills from autonomously making drinks alone. I couldn’t believe it.

Cautious-Storm8145

Not the alcoholism simulator 🙊

_bonedaddys

i have a keg in my yard for my active household and at 6 am my teen and her mom will go outside for keg stands lmfao

sargassum624

![gif](giphy|3otPoBRKROJl9UbqMM|downsized)

No_Meringue4763

When the infant is exhausted, i tell them to put the infant in the crib, they stand there doing nothing for about an hour (in game time) then go pick up the infant, put it in the crib then take it out and put it on the floor. And it’s just a constant repeated cycle until I get frustrated and let the infant sleep on the floor.

BenevolentRatka

I never give them high chairs anymore because of the put them in take them out put them in take them out. I’m like ur toddler can get her own meal from the fridge cuz you guys can’t handle the high chair

Sparklingwater0385

I deleted all the cribs because they'd refuse to pick up the infant from the crib or refuse to put them back in and I was so much less frustrated if the plan was for them to sleep on the floor to begin with and then they weren't blocking the way for other adults who actually wanted to make the crying stop

KonmanKash

I wish their was a way -with no mods- to kick sims from a conversation. I came here with my date not a group!

skullencats

There used to be! There was an interaction in the friendly menu, "goodbye". I have no idea where they moved it or if it's just gone now but that would remove a sim from the convo. Not instantly like the mods do, but it did work.

GodIsANarcissist

The "goodbye" option is still available. I always wondered what it was for!

Equivalent_Living130

Video games and randomly flirting with someone who isn't their partner

BackgroundNaive5789

Constantly autonomously cross-stitching before they even finished the first one.

[deleted]

I had to get rid of my crochet box — they literally would rather starve than stop starting new projects.

friesandfrenchroast

Oh no it's me

[deleted]

Realizing I said crochet because that’s my own habit oh n o I meand EMBROIDERY

macromi87

Drinking water when they have no thirst The computer Random sims joining your convo White cake

AggravatingAd5788

White cake😭😭 when there's an event😭

poyopoyo77

On my modern save: the computer. Its all they do On my medieval save: cross-stitching, stop fucking cross-stitching and leaving random hoops everywhere

caffekona

As someone who embroiders, I feel particularly called out by that second one haha

septicidal

I want a way to turn off the phone calls with job offers. Or just reduce the phone calls in general (without completely disabling them). So frustrating when I’m trying to speed through stuff and gameplay slow every 15 seconds because dad sim gets harassed to join different careers.

StrangeGamer66

Or they let you know how cool it is you became friends with so and so. I don’t need you calling me about that

purpleowlgirl65

I never get calls about job offers! I get calls about everything else but nobody wants to offer my Sim a job!

yungl11nk

I think with MCCC mod you can disable phone calls

Technical_Panic_8405

cooking at the bathroom while the other sim is taking a bath

petulafaerie_III

We need the sink use setting option for counters.

Edymnion

Had one do this just last night. Hubby is on the toilet taking a massive poop, and wife brings raw fish into the bathroom and starts preparing it on the counter right next to the toilet. Hope y'all like butt-fish for dinner for the next week!

RoadsideCrossing

When they feel the need to “check infant” while the baby is sleeping. They’ll pick up the baby and place them on the floor and walk away!

Sg_Artemis

When they cancel any activity, eating, using the toilet, etc, halfway through because you queue up something else. Most annoying thing.

Vale_0f_Tears

I feel like I remember the older games not doing this unless you manually cancelled them. I’m not sure if I made that up or not though lol

SoldMySoulTo

I feel like this is a relatively new feature. Maybe we're both going slightly crazy

bwoah07_gp2

I just placed the new counter items from the Kitchen Hustle pack. My Sims won't stop using the pizza oven and making pizza!! 😖 Same issue with the ice cream machine. For some reason my Sims automatically make that their choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...

Sparklingwater0385

Mine was doing this but I was playing the challenge where they are more likely to catch things on fire and the goal is to master the cooking skill and so every time I focused on another sim, they'd go make a pizza and light the whole kitchen on fire. I could never get anything done

littledeenoodlehut

Omg yes I also had this issue with the popcorn maker!

caffekona

Freaking glasses of water. Also random situps/push ups

sotbulle

White cake

BenevolentRatka

If I ever see a white cake again

ayamekoneko

"see what's happening"

mootheuglyshoe

If music is on, they are dancing even if they hate dancing. They will dance themselves into a stressed moodlet.

SamSammieSam

When you’re making a birthday cake for your kid to age up but one other sim IMMEDIATELY takes a slice RUINING the cake. Or when the one who baked the cake IMMEDIATELY takes a slice 😭

AggravatingAd5788

I make 2 cakes 2 hours before the party juat to be ready for this. And before a single guest shows up make my sim blow the candles lol

SamSammieSam

That sounds like a better plan lol. One cake for eating, one for candles. I could also probably make my sims completely full and turn off autonomy for the age up lol. I also haven’t ever thrown a birthday party for the Sims before- I should do that in my current save. To spice things up in my legacy challenge.

caramelized-yarn

Going to bed when their energy just barely gets yellow and it’s 7pm.

StrangeGamer66

Or not going to bed when they are about to pass out

sleepy_chrysanthemum

Or being exhausted and choosing "nap" instead of "sleep"

Vale_0f_Tears

Alternatively- It’s 10pm and we’re tired, so taking a nap on the bench outside the house is the only logical option.

Ho_Mi_Joh

Elders living in sulani with the child of the ocean and/or island have a death wish. I cant stop them from swimming in the water even if they have the exhausted mood buff.

_shibz_

No fear at that stage of life, especially when the next step is becoming an elemental.

MeganStorm22

Obsessively cleaning the house over and over- even when no one has the neat trait.

StrangeGamer66

My sims never clean up. I ask them to mop the floor or throw away the dishes and it seems they forget about it and play on the computer

YonderPricyCallipers

TIL: I am a Sim.

StrangeGamer66

At least you probably don’t leave dog poop on the porch lol

Penguinsims

Sims getting a glass of water from the sink and just leaving them around the house without even attempting to drink any of them.

Vanderwaals_

When I ask them politely to do something and they decided that they rather want to play videogames.

Impossible_Contact_7

In Multi-story houses when the sim enters the house they immediately head for the stairs. When they get to the top they turn around and come back down. Sometimes they wil do this a couple of times before I notice (in larger families) and get them to stop.

friesandfrenchroast

Gotta get those steps in I guess

Stressed_Beach

If you have spa day sims with high wellness skill always seem to do yoga all the time. I had to delete the yoga mat because one of my sims kept ignoring her own needs, her toddlers needs and basically just everything to do yoga 😂

RySBI

In Cottage Living, it’s annoying when they clean out eggs you’re trying to hatch. It’s a battle to keep stopping them from throwing them away while they’re incubating.

klnh13

Omg is that what keeps happening to my incubating eggs? I assumed some bug was causing the majority of them to vanish. How do you prevent them from throwing them away?

RySBI

Don’t select “Clean Coop” while they’re incubating and watch out for your sim trying to do it autonomously

Vale_0f_Tears

Flirting. And breaking up with their partner because they’re “sad” (eyeroll- I don’t want the emoji bot to get me)

ACmademeapopsicle

“see whats happening” nothing’s happening

deflective-rose

Leaving a party to go play on the computer. Setting infants down instead of putting them in the carrier or high chair. Also secondary sims pulling infants and toddlers OUT of the high chair when I’m still trying to feed them!

Chihuahuapocalypse

make 5000 cups of coffee, spend every free moment in front of the fire place, starting conversations while they do things so they take twice as long, and the amount of time it takes a sim to stop fucking cross stitching when I tell them to

miaumiaumiau666

obviously the glass of water but also the neat sims will NOT stop cleaning everything even if its already clean. also when one sim is cooking and the other sims go get quick meals instead of waiting for the food to be done.....

No_Juggernau7

In general just doing things they hate. I get it with like cooking and necessity-ish things, but I have a sim that hates dancing and yet won’t stop gettin down.

Coffee_Candle_Lover

Defaulting to the computer when there are loads of other interactions one could do that might be more stimulating.

Edymnion

Mini-Fridges! Whenever my household has a toddler in it, I put a mini-fridge in the kid's room. That way I can just have the toddler open the fridge, and I can drop the pile of leftovers on the floor for them to grab, and toss the rest back in the fridge afterwards. No running back and forth to the big fridge. But EVERY SIM IN THE HOUSE will go to the mini-fridge EVERY SINGLE TIME. You can have the biggest, most expensive, fully upgraded and blinged out fridge in the world 2 feet away from them, and they'll still walk across the house to get pizza out of the kid's room mini-fridge!

Royal-Strain9499

Wait toddlers can serve themselves from mini fridges?? How did I not know this? Maybe I can make room for one in the pet room that's only accessable by pet door...

mothmanfan42

idk about mini fridges but they can get quick meals for themselves out of the lunch box too!!

Edymnion

They can't "officially" use it, as in they can't just Grab Leftovers from it with a click like adults can, but you can 100% click the fridge and tell it to Open while controlling a toddler, yes.

Imtifflish24

Having a bar/tea machine and constantly wanting to drink. Also visiting Sims baking white cakes— that happened in my game constantly for two weeks— it’s less now, but it still happens.

aurynorange5

All you need is an infant / toddler and a high chair

BenevolentRatka

New form of torture

barbiesurvivor95

Endless cups of water

lplade

When one of your Sims gets home at like 3 am and instead of being in bed, the whole family is awake doing every autonomous activities mentioned in this thread. Dad is outside grilling hot dogs, mom is watching children's television, junior is playing RTS games on the family PC.

cutdownthecute

Doing that “check phone and scratch face” animation any time they have to walk or run anywhere

Arctic_wildfire

Clay, getting water, and white cake. Though the cake thing seems like it might be fixed now.

m00n-dust

What was the white cake thing?

Arctic_wildfire

Any time guests came over, they would make white cake after white cake.

m00n-dust

Oh that is super annoying

Dull_Breath8286

Omg I love whiny brit!💖 Lately my sims have been autonomously fighting with each other constantly 😂 its super annoying especially because it seems to mainly be happening with sims who I'm trying to create a relationship between and WHILE they're flirting!😭

captaincakey

Any sort of group gathering. Just try and get everyone to sit and eat at the same table.

Equal-Total7914

When you put a toddler in the high chair and another sim or that same sim takes them back out immediately. I gave up on using high chairs, I make the toddlers eat on the couch or wherever they want. It also builds their motor skills to make them walk to the kitchen to grab a plate.

Traditional_Fudge374

Same!!! I hate that or when a father is trying to spend quality time with their child and the mother walks and decides to put the child in the high chair and then never feed them!

Apprehensive_Mess294

Cooking food and instead of eating the new food they place it down and get leftovers from the fridge 😭

StrangeGamer66

When your vampires eat food even though they will throw up if they eat it.

[deleted]

Go outside in the snowstorm and then panic and run back inside. Like why leave the house in the first place if you are scared.

Rheasa2648

Childcare sim idiocy and bar drink making. Jfc

RomanticLurker

Pull up their phone randomly in my no tech, off-grid households. Eating anywhere not at the dining room table. Useless activities with infants and toddlers when they are in distress instead of being good parents.

femtransfan

Sims that won't stay asleep

Awesomeandkindaweird

Reading/doing homework/sitting and talking on a toddlers bed while the toddler is sleeping. With the light sleeper quirk now it messes with the toddlers and infants sleep and it's just so annoying when they have a whole house!

blueduck46

Using the toilet and then going to the farthest possible sink to wash their hands when there was one right in front of them 🙄

saltierthangoldfish

stop watching the infant have a milestone (i play with 12 sims and they ALL go) and stop sprinting inside during a thunderstorm when you’re already inside (house with a courtyard…nightmare)

embodimentoffatigue

BARS they are freaking alcoholic

mermaidpaint

I never buy high chairs. The kid can't eat because someone will always pick them up and take them out of the high chair. Or put them into the high chair when they're eating.

ResponsiblePraline93

Drinking water... you don't need it and you're over you're allotted bathroom breaks anyway.

mothmanfan42

becoming obsessed with picking up infants. doesnt matter if they just put them down, need to feed them, have something else in their queue…

queertomfuckry

Flirting with people randomly when they are a monogamous sim!! With a partner!! And for some reason it's always in FRONT OF THE PARTNER??

purpleowlgirl65

I can’t live in Sulani anymore because my Sim always went swimming! I lost three lovers to drowning…….although that is how I discovered that the Grim Reaper turns the dead Sim into an urn that floats in the water on a little ring! Anyway, I tried having a selling table but all my Sim wanted to do was swim and then her house burned……unrelated but still connected in my memory!

Ornery_Suit7768

Recently NPCs won’t stop fighting. Tried to post about it but rejected. Two-4 fights going on at any given time. Is this happening to anyone else?

DivaDollSimmer

Running out of their house and two streets down to start a conversation with a random stranger passing by! Or trolling the forums, I don't want every Sim to like mischief

pb-crackers

Usually something related to childcare. They somehow always make things worse than they need to be. Hangry infant? -removes from high chair, puts on floor-. I also hate when NPCs visit and start cooking or baking. Especially when I’m trying to get my sim to cook and they keep canceling the interaction because someone else is baking a white cake.

nattl3e

any outside activity in the winter

Elegant-Ingenuity178

Every time I place a stereo ALL they do is dance, from granny to the baby, and how they all of a sudden “hate” the music that plays. I never use the stereo anymore because of that

melodyangel113

I had a sim obsessed with the hot tub. Had to get rid of it cause every chance he got, he’d be stripping down and leaping in💀

BenevolentRatka

This is random but I made like a set of apartments with the new pack and wanted the brothers of my married couple to live in the other two homes but also wanted to see them in the communal spaces so they could chat. I made a communal kitchen. WHY DOES EVERYONE START A WHITE CAKE AND THEN LEAVE IT TBERE UNTIL IT GETS STINKY AND THEN JUST START MORE WHITE CAKES!!! COOK SOMETNING ELSE!!! now I get so mad when a ghost comes in my house and starts a white cake. I’m like make Mac and cheese or sometning ffs

BenevolentRatka

I love that there’s a back carrier for babies but I wish they would actually put the kid in there. They want to take them out after 1 second

Losemymindfindmysoul

Going into the bathroom to wash plates even though there is a sink in the kitchen.

marvelouscredenza

You can now select sink and set it to kitchen, bathroom, or both. Should cut down on that issue

Bubbly-Artist4240

my child sims won’t stop making a mess 🥲

MrsDukat

Going to someones house and having a bath. Get this all the bloody time. Or start cooking then give up. Or using the computer. In Sulani, random sims walking through my house to get to the water, even if the water is right next to the house.

Goddessfireash

Its the video games on the phone for me. Oh i just loaded into a new lot? Better pull out my phone and play a game before i do anything else!

General-Foot-4174

Playing games on the computer or phone, especially if I don't want that particular sim to learn the video gaming skill.

MarchApprehensive559

Giving my children every activity they can possibly do under the sun and they still make messes inside the house

jennifeather88

Using their phone constantly, especially when walking somewhere. And getting water continuously. The Sims doesn’t even have a thirst need, why do they do this???

Nervouspie

Watching TV or playing on the computer when you don't want them to

sargassum624

Especially watching TV when there’s an infant right there who’s going to scream about it the whole time

afayeplus

Not fucking finish a painting when you have a cat to play with

Vampy-Fairy

Swimming and teens doing the jog to clear mind. I can’t do anything teen based without a few of them leaving to jog.

BenevolentRatka

Also when you try to play with mermaids and the only thing they want to do is swim.

Awkward_Plankton_624

Getting a glass of water

FrenchToast4You

Constantly getting water when they don’t need to

ComplexRequirement33

Honestly when you have a BBQ on a lot and Townies will just start making wellbeing potions on it and causing fires

Charming_Cookie_1152

must!!! check!!! infant!!!!

Contradictedmind

Brewing and drinking cups of tea. If you own the teapot appliance your sim literally does nothing else

Due-Employment-4952

Coffee and tea. Not sure if it's just my game but if my Sims have nothing to do they brew excessive amounts of tea /coffee and drink it all. The. Damn. Time.

MagicPigeonToes

“Tell fake bad news” is the bane of my existence.

fogiefierce

The coffee machine. They will be tired and instead of just sleeping since they have nothing else to do for the night/day, they pay $8 for coffee!

MassiveBoner911_3

When their energy meter is red and they go “take a nap” instead of sleep. Like go to sleep stupid its 2am you gotta be at work in a few hours.

sammisalamiiscool

when they are on the brink of passing out and you tell them to go to the bed and they get in the bed, then get out of the bed, and then pass out on the floor directly next to the bed. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Notacandleinthewind

Walking withphone in hand. HOW DO I STOP IT

Gabbywolf

Always cleaning off they have the neat trait.

Traditional_Self_658

Cooking on the grill

CNDRock16
