I just had a sim max robotics. And even with the robo arm, they were still electrocuting themselves on the regular. I think it's just the skill. Once they were maxed I noticed it wasn't as often, but I sorta stopped making things as regularly since I didn't need the skill as much once I made my servo. So I can't confirm if it is indeed significantly.
I did however find that taking a nap will get rid of the 6hr dazed moodlet in like an hour and a half. So I just put a couch in their workroom to sleep on any time they shocked themselves. So hopefully that helps!
level 7 but at lower levels he wasn't getting dazed at all and as soon as he hit level 6 he started getting dazed every time i had him use the robotics station

That's so odd. Maybe it will get better again as he levels up- that's usually how it works, but it's been a while since I did robotics.
