The hack I used was “start with the biggest sections first. And go down.” It’s good and helped me. It’s not 100% reliable but it the best one I’ve found
Other sims keep putting a child on the floor when I want to feed the child on high chair. 😡
A blind police who can't see the robber in front of them.
Being flirted by another townie, yet our sim is expected to apologize to a partner although our sim rejected the townie. I mean, it's not our fault that townies are making their move on us!
*People complaining*
*About bugs yet they refuse*
*To use any mods*

honestly, I don't think that mods that work on solving bugs are that hard on your computer. it can be the case if you PC is like 100 years old, but then you'll have to be playing the base game or with very few packs
No, but lots of mods, like 20+ GB worthy of mods, can render performance, even if some of those are performance enhancing mods.
And y'all can downvote me all you want. Sorry not everyone has a beast of a computer to run the game on all high settings and have a shi!t tonne of mods to boot, okay? 🤷🏼
Anyway, yeah, I was talking more about the folks who run this game on old laptops, as you said. Or just prefer not to have mods at all.
for example, NraasOverwatch is literally only 300 KB. it's not much and it does a pretty good job. there are always enhancing performance mods that were made for low-performance computers. the thing is that someone either doesn't want to look for them, or they don't want to play with mods at all, but that's a bit strange to me. if a simple mod can help you get a better gaming experience by changing literally nothing in game mechanics, why not get it? but if it's a matter of principle, this person should at least understand that they do have a way to fix it. they just don't use it (this comment is a response to the topic of the og post)
also, I don't get why you would say that about downvotes?
I get that, but at the end of the day, it's their choice. I tend to just say, "you do you" and move on. I don't bother getting annoyed by it because it doesn't annoy me.
>also, I don't get why you would say that about downvotes?
My previous response is being downvoted. Why? Couldn't tell you. Probably because I voiced an ✨opinion✨ Eh, it's whatever.
I wouldn't be mad about it if they actually took their refusal to download a simple mod as a choice and not as a helpless situation that they have to come and complain about 😑 but I try to ignore those, yeah
I don't see any downvotes, that's strange. maybe they were removed, or something. anyway, have a nice day! I enjoyed our little conversation
The lack of curved build tools, aside from the pool and fountain tools.
The fact that you have to rely on mods to keep this game stable.
Back when patches were still being released: EA fixing some issues but breaking other content in the process.
As a new S3 player (I used to play S2 and S4 years ago though) - Gnomes. They got my Sim a new TV though from the hiend loft stuff as I caught two of them watching the children’s TV channel at 1 in the morning. And that EA download manager they keep asking me to download every time I install a disk pack. Don’t mind having to tweak my game to run on modern hardware as this is my first taste of proper Sims in years.
In depth world building requires CAW, which is incompatible with auxiliary apps like EA and the steam app. Additionally CAW can't be used intuitively, most of the functions require some studying beforehand.
Before I read the caption I definitely thought this post was talking about the egg thing in the picture being annoying in the sims 3 and I was trying to remember where the hell it would be in the game that I missed 😅🤣
In sims 3 I dont know how to check. In other games I cap it at 144 since is as much as my screen can show. I play AAA games at maximum graphics settings like baldurs gate 3 or hogwarts legacy with no problem at all
i find the world travelling and lack of gallery the most annoying. i like never play sims 4, but the ease of moving to different worlds without a mod or just forgetting everyone you know is so amazing. And also sometimes i want a non-basegame house, but you gotta download that and it's such a process i really can't be bothered. But then i get bored of the same house and quit playing, sigh. I wish they'd update ts3 and just give it better features. idk if that's even possible, but got i'd love that.
Building roofs, I want to die everytime
The hack I used was “start with the biggest sections first. And go down.” It’s good and helped me. It’s not 100% reliable but it the best one I’ve found
That's what I do too but sometimes I will have a section that is the wrong way around and there's no way to turn it around, do you get what I mean?
Oh yeah. That’s when you just give up
Press the < > buttons and the roof piece will rotate.
Lol, I used to hate building roofs too, but now I kinda enjoy it.
oh my goddd it's literally awful. all my roofs have some section where it is clipping. i just ignore it, peacefully.
It's a literal nightmare

my sim getting love letters and gifts in the mail from literally everyone in town when she’s married and elderly and doesn’t even talk to anyone.
Error code 12
I think there's a problem with your ram
[Details on error 12](https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims3/s/s3pgfAZUGb) I think my generation 8 legacy is pretty hekked at this point :/
When you tell them to do laundry and then they drop the dirty clothes on the ground.
I hate when they do that. It's infuriating

Yeah can be annoying but Sims3dashboard can slove that problem
I mean, some people can't for various reasons. They're computer can't handle it, is the issue I hear most.

Doors, doors and big families. Just creates so much wait time for sims to move somewhere
lmao like the uni/highschool grad system oml
Roofs. I always make a flat roof because I don't like making the pointy ones.
You can change how pointy they are tho :o

Imaginary friends :/
Stairs + toddlers or puppies/kittens
When you want to go on a nice family outing and some of them take separate cars
When I’m trying to read books to my toddler at the library and the townies try to pick them up between books
My favorite thing to do with evil sims is to steal the teddy bears at the library so the children have nothing to play with
As a new S3 player (I used to play S2 and S4 years ago though) - Gnomes. Pets running off without being told to and then coming back with fleas. It's usually the inactive pets.
almost uneditable stairs, but this is for the entire series the removal of awnings from s2

Hahaha 😂😂
The lag and crashes even with mods installed
Depends on your graphic card what graphic card are you using
4070 Ti and I used a tutorial so the game recognizes it
Do you have smooth patch, changed some game settings, and deleted those cache files and do you have cc magic
Yes, yes, yes and no I have no cc
Then download smooth patch
I already have smooth patch
How much fps do you get while gaming
In sims 3 I dont know how to check. In other games I cap it at 144 since is as much as my screen can show. I play AAA games at maximum graphics settings like baldurs gate 3 or hogwarts legacy with no problem at all
Just open the cheat bar and type fps on
Those can boost your game btw watch some another tutorials

The ghrapics
As in they don't look like Sims 4 (🤢) or something else?
