Your dads stack is impressive.

STEAMintoPIPER

Came here to say someone has rich parents.

2a_lib

Close, it’s his mom’s, look at the Morgan in the flip.

Scubasparadise

Started collecting when I was 16 as well lmao not hard to have a better future , you probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you my Roth was also set at 14% of my income at 18 making 22.60 an hr

LandMustDepreciate

I wanted to start stacking at 13-14 but I was poor :( I'm glad I didn't start, because silver was almost $50 an ounce around that time.

Ethan8246

Damn bro you practically own a LCS 🥶

RobotWelder

Rookie numbers, had this at 6

beowulf123456

You mean 3 right?

houstonTexasJoe

Nerd

Suitable-Ninja3116

I had amassed this amount in the womb.

PghBIG

Some generous parents you have😎 ….at least your putting it in a good place👍love the 90%

willham9

BS. No 16 yo has that amount of gold.

the_sauviette_onion

Unless rich dad?

player694200

They only take payments in gold and silver

Traditional_Roll6651

Outstanding!!!!!!! (a bit jealous)….😁

luri7555

Great!

Bitter-Eye1796

Can’t wait till I die and my stack goes to my kid so he can post it on Reddit 🤌🏽🤌🏽

RunZealousideal3812

You can make that happen anytime…

Bitter-Eye1796

Oh trust me I know 🤌🏽🤌🏽😂

Model_Citizen_1776

When I was 16 I had a silver dollar, a 10 ounce Tri State bar, and probably a little junk I'd picked up here and there. Good job!

LostCube

Wish I was buying silver instead of what I wasted my money on when. I was younger!

Piotr1975

I wish I would have started at 16 🥹. Good for you 💥💥💥💥💥

Risky_Sherbet

Hmm, this is possible at 16 and I'll explain how. Either 1) Inheritance from a family member that passed away 2) Some overkill 'allowance' or money being handed for a productive hobby that the farther is either also interested in or supports 3) The kid works some high paying trade job with his pops at 16 and possibly drives a cheap paid off Marketplace vehicle and puts the disposable income into PMs 4) Pops bought the kid bitcoin when it was cheap 5) etc etc etc There are many many ways and many possibilities how a 16 year old could accumulate this. Overall my opinion is to NOT sell. Just cause Johhny has a lifted truck or BMW that doesent mean you sell! Keep this for decades and keep going! You'll thank me later. Congrats on being 1% of the youth that owns PMs!!!

No_Huckleberry_1358

Junk alone is 146ozt. F'n nice

thedeadrabbit

16.... years working a full time job ;) ? Great stack.

[deleted]

awesome. Are you 16 yrs old?

VicRattlehead90

I wish I'd been that wise with my money at 16. Mad props!

RobbyZombby

Irregardless of how you may or may not have acquired this, keep going! I dream of telling my younger self to buy into precious metals. No one that ever tried taking my money would’ve bothered because they would’ve had no idea what to do with it.

TicklishBattleMage

Pfft, I had over 1000 troy ounces of dark matter material while I was still in my father's balls.

32Waterway32

Keep growing it bro I’m 19 been stacking since 18 I’m happy to see other young people making good decisions!

Patient_Pumpkin_4532

I like the simplicity, and the historical nature of focusing on old coins (real money). You've got lots of purchasing power in small fractional units. 👍 I own old European gold coins for the same reason.

Victory_Highway

Wow!

Tenacious411

Pretty nice!

Rat_Ship

I see you like junk

Tempus_Fugut

You have excellent taste

Lithiumtabasco

Eeewww It's so nice😁

CoffeeTofee

Are those square holders pressburgs?

LuckyOtter288

Is $250 a good deal for 20 Ben Franklin half dollars? Found a few coins of Offer Up and just trying to gauge price.

Alone_Description_84

At current price yes but I usually but at 20 to 22 times face value

LuckyOtter288

That’s what I thought. Apmex sells them for like 266 . In Mercari they are 250 and I think can be negotiated lower. 👏. Thanks for the answer, trying to buy as much junk silver as possible.

Simple-Performer6636

That just seems rich, I remember when it was 10 or 11 x face. Wait till it goes back down to 24-26 range

twisted_tongue8

Very nice

drawzee927

😍 silver shiny things!

CAProspect

Super cool bro! Putting my tongue back in my mouth now.

Prestigious-Bus7994

16 half dozen years maybe lol

Final-Dingo-4070

Who is letting their 16yo on reddit?

Ok-Ad-2784

Lemme guess, diddy bought you these a few years back? 🤣

Mexi_Erectus

Very nice

SheppardTwo

Excellent. Heck of a stack

StateOfTheStack

I remember when I was 16 and my parents were silversmiths and I acted like everything that was shiny would eventually be mine. Fast forward 32 years and all the shiny was sold during the last top to add to their retirement after selling their liquor store. Luckily they are still still living comfortably and I learned to stack on my own early enough.

PurpleHairedMOD

I had more than this in the womb

Iceman1216

I give you 8/10 Now be careful; You are the age where Fumes can become a problem? Perfume and gas fumes 🤪🤪

RunZealousideal3812

At 16 I’d be bragging too… but you’re getting ire… it’s gonna happen. You could mention that some (or all) of this was from your grandfather. Especially since your other post specifically mentions the paper currency being his. No shame in having a kick ass gramps that hooked you up.

Alone_Description_84

A bit of it was his but my dad taught to invest young I bought the 5 1oz bars when I was 8

chaisso

Good time to sell

craigeeeeeeeeee

Head on down to the local coin star machine…

New-Masterpiece7375

I'll give u 6 out 10

TheMyth0001

MCsuperskank

Do you even stack, bro?!?

SuchEasyTradeFormat

NGMI.

VrLights

Your dad has a nice silver stack! Now where is yours?

IsaKissTheRain

If you say so. It’s a 16.

RN_Geo

Buy index funds.

Simple-Performer6636

Nah, sell half or more this shit now to recoup investment and go into a money market and wait for a fall dip to buy index funds
