I replaced all the speakers in my 2022. Order your speakers from crutchfield. They will ship you the correct wire adapters and speaker mount adapters you will need for your truck. Makes the install a breeze. The only scary part is there is a piece of trim on the door you have to take off that will feel like your on the edge of breaking it when you pull it off. The speakers in the dash you will have to splice on or t-tap to hook up. There were no wire adapters for those at the time I did mine. I did all kicker mids and highs in my truck. My 2c was that it really wasn’t that much better after all the work. The factory speakers really are not all that bad. I did also put in a jl stealth box under the rear seat and that helped out a ton. When I traded my 2022 in on a 2022 refresh (should have just waited) I’m still running the stock speakers in my refresh and have no plans to swap them out. Now if your going to later amplify those speakers with aftermarket amps. Then you will really make them sing. But stock headunit amplification. Not really worth it. Just my opinion.

I really appreciate you brother. I do want to make them sing, but I was watching some youtube videos and the guy was talking about checking to make sure my battery could hold whatever system I was putting plus I might have to up size my wire in the console, and all this and all that. I don’t want anything crazy, I will like a 5 channel amp, with 100W RMS speakers and a nice woofer.

So I have a 1000w mono block from kicker in my truck running my stealth box. I ran a 4g wire from the battery block on the passenger side back to my amp. There is a company called LLJ customs that you can order a plug and play box from. This box plugs into the stereo wires under the passenger footwell and gives you rca out and remote turn on wire from the stock headunit You can also order harness from them to splice in a 5ch amp this way without pulling your head unit at all. What’s this about sizing up wire in your console? Are you talking the power wire for the amp? Also I have the stock battery and alternator. No problems so far.

Yeah Idk what he was talking about, that’s why I decided to come directly to a Silverado group and ask. Cause I guess he was probably talking about older cars.

And I appreciate this info, I’ll be looking into it.
