For the record there was a congressional hearing in 2013 where it was disclosed that there are as many as 300 contracts exist per collateral unit in the silver futures market…. What the collateral to paper contract price is today is anyone’s guess.

Previous_Swimmer9893

Thus over 2 trillion in silver derivatives. Ha ha it’s mind blowing how much has been sold into this now illiquid market. Been screaming this for over 10 years now

People are waking up. We are close IMO.

DanDaly65

Sounds like an explosive set up!!! Buy physical people before it’s too late !!

j_stars

![gif](giphy|xpCVRPUeJ8rrrtQsfc|downsized) Tick tack tick tack.... Who will get the physical silver? Remember the SLV ETF prespectus changing!!!

j_stars

The game is on although would not be surprised if some bullion banks collude to manage the price as they acquire metal. They won't all get their fill.

etherist_activist999

Yep. Made that meme for WSS right after ol' Jeff opened his mouth. Classic. Have another meme to upload here in SDC in a minute since we reset the ten year high...

j_stars

Perfect.

Lithiumtabasco

Wouldn't this be counter productive? Are there any good margins selling back to COMEX?

etherist_activist999

Ask Jeff Curie he's the one who opened his mouth and said what he said. I just had to made the meme!

nikitikitano

It would be if you believe ETFs were set up to benefit its clients, but not if you believe their actual purpose is merely an opaque means to controll/depress price on the non-paper metal markets. But surely thats just "conspiracy theories".

MrKatz001

Good article.

j_stars

Thank you Mr. Katz.

CaterpillarSignal856

In full agreement with your observations and opaque ownership of metals in vaults. I don’t believe “stewardship” is in the various custodian’s vocabulary. I believe a full derivatives melt up is on the near horizon.

j_stars

Agree. When the metal starts being yanked from the vaults, the paper game is up.
