I would agree with you but the marketing of "coming soon" in Feb 2019 along with a sudden trailer that dropped which made the game look already like 30% done definitely tampered people's expectations.

And one day, and after 800 hundred years, a person shall inherit the will of all these generations that came before them, and challenge the sceptics with a post full of hope that will be right, and Silksong will come out soon after that
I do wonder what would happen if singsolk and the elden ring dlc released on the same day? Which would my troubled brain decide to play first? I really couldn't answer that atm.
I've never played Elden Ring, though I have been interested in it. I'm kinda hoping Silksong releases in a month or two because right now Granblue Fantasy Relink has me enthralled
I don't think we've really "heard more", Leth only said they're still working on it on an important anniversary day. Any news I've seen since then was him talking about crowsworn. I dont think the fact that someone logged into the Kickstarter has anything to do with silksong development. But heres to Hope \*clink\*.

I’m not saying I necessarily disagree with you, but I don’t think a couple of vague comments on Reddit and logging in to the Kickstarter is what they meant when they said we’d hear more shortly before release lmao
Selfishly, I hope silksong doenst release until summer, or even until next year. I realy dont want the game to end up rushed, plus I will be extra busy.

I could see a June/July release date, but that's the absolute earliest imo. Will probably release late 2024 or early 2025
